Living amongst locals means I am constantly immersed in the Italian language conversations of families and workers going about their day. Retreating to the upper terrace to read and relax, I am immediately mesmerised by the panoramic 360 views of bell towers and terracotta roofs haphazardly extending in all directions stopped only by the extraordinary Roman walls that surround this ancient town.

Sometimes on a whim I invite friends over for an Italian cooking class with Nonna in the gourmet chef kitchen. At sunset, the surprise opera and aperativo on the terrace before dinner always delights. Ahhh, another magical night of Italian food and wine under the stars.
