Located across the parking lot from Captain Ron's, this is a perfect little getaway for up to four guests. This bungalow is a two bedroom, cozy living room, one full bathroom, an equipped kitchen and a deck. The best part is that you are only steps away to having fun at Captain Ron’s Bar and Grill. Amenities include Air Conditioning, Cable TV, Stove, Refrigerator, Microwave, Gas Grill, Community Fire Pit and slip available to use in the community covered dock. We also offer Free Wi-fi at Captain Ron's, but none is available in the unit. High chair, Hair dryer, iron & ironing board available per request. Smoking is allowed outside only. The property is also just down the hill from Scallywag's RV Park which offers both primitive tent sites and full RV hook-ups for all your overflow needs.

Was a nice quaint house and perfect for what we were looking for. Simple not fancy. The location for us was perfect. We will definitely stay again next year! Loved sitting on deck listening to the music.

End of Summer fun

Captain Rons sunrise beach

Property was very clean and easy to find in the area we wanted to be. We could have used a few more towels and soap and the freezer needed defrosting in the refrigerator but other than that it was a very enjoyable vacation

Nice little home to stay in while my husband and son fished the Big Bass Bash.

The house had everything we needed to enjoy our trip. We didn’t spend much time in the house. While the boys were fishing me and my daughter played Nice little home to stay in while my husband and son fished the Big Bass Bash. volleyball and sun tanned at Captain Ron’s. Great location.

Rather dirty floor/carpents. Steps going in were not very safe just overall a disappointment. Needs to kept up, maintenance much better. Would not recommend at all

Sorry you felt unsafe. We have the steps on the calendar for replacement. Yes the carpets got stained but have been cleaned multiple times! Think its time to transition away from carpet. Thank you for staying with us.

Stay in the Ozarks

Very clean, nice place. Not great with young kids due to location being so close the the bar and outdoor bands were very loud. There was also side by sides and golf carts racing through the parking lot in the middle of the night. But overall stay was great, close to beach, kids activities, clean house, and air worked good. Can't wait to return.

Nice Cold AC, clean, convenient location. Cozy.

Great location for short walk to evening music at Captain Ron's. Short walk to campground where we had friends staying. Great to listen to band on our deck. But quiet inside the house. This was our second time staying here. We couldn't figure out the remote to the TV, but called owner and she was there in a flash to help. Highly recommended for a place to call home for a long weekend. 2 bedroom, but spacious for 2.

Perfect place for what our activities were, busy during the day but so peaceful after captain rons closes. We loved the deck but could only access it from 1 slider, the other was broke, coffee pot was broke. Pillows need to be replaced, they were pretty gross.

Unit 8

Have stayed at Captain Rons several times. Was disappointed this time with the a/c unit going out two nights in a row. House got up to 83 degrees and made it very uncomfortable. It has been our go-to place for a few years now. Always enjoy our stay.

Great inexpensive stay!

The cabin was very clean. Kitchen well stocked. Furnishings are dated, but serve their purpose. Plenty of toilet paper and paper towels supplied. Check in and out was simple.The only things I can say that need some work: The bush beside the porch is overgrown and has to be pushed out of the way to enter the door, there is no outside porch light, and the bed in the master bedroom is uncomfortable. The view from the cabin is a parking lot and back of restaurant, but that was known from posting. Just steps from water. We would stay here again!

Pros: Good location Easy to find Good size Fully stocked Close to a resturant Ac worked good Plenty of hot water Good communication with owners Cons(some are personal and did not discount star rating for) Beds are old and not comfortable Blinds in a few windows are broken or have broken pieces Not enough towels for 2 people for 3 days Be careful in the shower, bottim can be slippery with soap on it No flat parking close by, on an incline and gravel. This is mainly due to being on motorcycles. If in a car, no big deal. But would like to see a flat, concrete pad behind the bldg for people like us. Tuere is a space that appeared to be one but old and crumbled. We made due. This is just a suggestion, not a negative. Would like to see better beds put in before this ever considered Overall a good place to stay and would consider for future stays when we ar ein town. Thank you

Great Location but really out dated

This place has so much potential if the owners would just put a little more love into the place. Its obvious they just want to turn and burn it. We found a dead beatle in the silverware, the beds are over 20 years old. The bed in the main room was so loud I couldn't move without waking my wife up. There is a lock box that is not clear about in the check in so everyone trys using the code on the door. We only learned about thos through the reviews which you know they owners don't read or they would fix it. The phone number they give you at check in does not work. The wifi they provide is from captains Ron's not from the house. They don't provide more then one roll of toilet paper. There is a gape in the front door so little critters where walking through the place. One of the rooms has no night stands which is really frustrating. Again, a little love could make this place so much better. The TV in one of the bedrooms is like 14". I'm being generous by giving it 3 stars.

It was easy to access and the cabin was very clean. My only qualm is the lack of cooking items ie. pots, pans, foil, etc. other than that I would totally rent this place again!!!! 😁

Nice cabin need to bring a toast maybe your own pans they like to stick to everything. Only has 2 beds no hide away bed in cabin 8 some of the light bulbs out. TV kept going in and out But everything else was great

Short Getaway

We have stayed in 3 of the houses located at Captain Rons, including this one. They are very convenient for a fun little getaway. The code for the door did not work, but we were able to get a hold of the property managers and they explained that the key is in a lock box attached to the porch. There was no extra toilet paper and there are no dressers. Other than that the property was clean and comfortable.
