Set in a peaceful rural setting, the house offers stunning mountain views, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living spaces, private outdoor areas and free Wi-Fi.

The home

The house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and can accommodate up to 5 guests. The living and dining areas open towards the surrounding scenery, while the kitchen allows you to prepare your own meals.

For guests wanting to experience Sri Lankan cuisine, home-cooked local meals can be arranged on request.

Around Eagles' Nest

The property is located in the mountains of Moragolla, with Kandy Lake approximately 24 minutes away and the Temple of the Tooth approximately 26 minutes away by car, depending on traffic and road conditions.

The surrounding area is ideal for walking, hiking, cycling, nature, photography and simply enjoying the slower pace of rural Sri Lankan life.

Excellent!

It was a big pleasure to have a stay at this house. The location and views are breathtaking, there was no morning or evening in this villa without saying 'oh what a beauty!'. The house is very clean and comfortable, kitchen is perfectly equipped. We had a time of our life here and for sure would come back. Thank you for our wonderful days here. Fantastische Aussicht

Schönes Haus mit fantastischer Aussicht. Man kann sich bei Bedarf von dem Verwalter Janaka bzw. seiner Frau lecker bekochen lassen, was in Anbetracht der abgelegenen Lage sehr angenehm ist.

ATT’s Eagle’s View Nest was intoxicating!

The views, the food, the tranquility at the Eagle’s View Nest were everything we had been looking for and more. My wife and I had been to Sri Lanka once before for a weekend and we knew we wanted to come back. We had stayed north of Kandy last time and just happened upon the Eagle’s Nest View in our searches. We could not have found a better place. About an hour outside of Kandy, the location is breathtakingly beautiful. The back of the property looks over the hills and beyond. It was a bit rainy when we were there, but I love clouds and became quite familiar with them during our week there. The property has three patios: one glass enclosed, one open air, and the third on the second floor that is perfect for stargazing. The caretakers, Janaka and his wife, really deserve that name. He drove us where we wanted to go in his tuk-tuk (as well as to places we did not know about) and his wife fed us wonderful meals. The owners were very helpful and kept in touch to make sure we had everything we needed. All in all, we had a great time and I highly recommend this location.

James and his family had been wonderful guests according to my caretaker Janaka and most importantly had maintained a lot of respect towards the tranquil environment, the village and their unique culture that we as hosts love to preserve, enjoy and also respect. They had also kept an immaculately clean house at all times. Shall not hesitate to recommend them to any other hosts out there. It was an absolute pleasure.

The area also gives guests a chance to experience a more authentic side of Sri Lanka, away from the busy city, while still being close enough to explore Colombo and its surroundings.

It is a place where life feels a little slower, people are friendly, and you can simply relax and enjoy the beauty of everyday Sri Lankan life.
