Relax at the Lake !!!

We are ideally located in "The Lakes Community" neighborhood, close to major roadways in a quaint neighborhood with a lake as your backyard. Take a short walk across the bridge to the closest restaurant, Pier 54. A movie theater and various restaurants are walking distance away or simply enjoy our patio and catch the sunset as it lights up the lake. In our gated community, Harbour Village, you can enjoy the pool and hot tub or join The Lakes Club House with its variety of activities. If you are a golfer, you will be surrounded by courses. If you love baseball, we are 14 miles from Salt River Field and only 4 miles from Tempe Diablo Stadium. Scottsdale's Old Town offers wonderful shopping and dining. The Desert Botanic Gardens hosts artists and events throughout the year. Of course, the Grand Canyon and Sedona are a short drive away. There are endless things to do in the Phoenix metro area, so enjoy yourself and come relax at our place!

Perfect spot to stay at in the Tempe area

Owners are wonderful to work with. Left nice little touches such as fresh ground coffee. Beautiful sunrise views over the lake. Great location with easy access to Baseline Road. Clean and very comfortable. Easy parking very close to condo.

REVIEW OF STAY

Enjoyed our stay very much. Condo very nice especially enjoyed the patio and view of the Lake. During this pandemic we were able to walk a lot - close to Parks and take out restaurants. Ted and Ginger gave us a good orientation and promptly answered a few questions we had. Would love to stay there again next year.

Perfect Getaway!

Owners were Great! Went above and beyond to accommodate. Condo very well equipped with lots of added items. Exceptionally clean, neat and very comfortable! Felt like home away from home. Perfect view - sunrise and sunsets!

A Great Home Away From Home

For our first holiday in Phoenix we were looking for a 1 month condo rental that would be reasonably central. After considerable internet research and checking many VRBO listings, this place on a small lake kept popping up as a good choice. Although we were really looking for a 1 bedroom unit, the price of this condo with the bonus of 2 baths wasn’t out of reach of our budget. Also, because our idea of a vacation is to spend as much time relaxing around our vacation home as we do touring about, the idea of the lakeside location really appealed to us. The owners responded quickly to our email and after several back and forth communications, we decided that this was the place we wanted. We were very impressed by how quickly they replied to each of our early inquiries and how willing they were to be accommodating. About 10 days before our arrival date the owners told us that they would meet us at the condo themselves and show us around. They are a very pleasant couple and every bit as accommodating in person as they had been during our earlier communications. They spent about an hour showing us through the condo and around the amenities of this gated community. They also introduced us to several neighbours who happened to be around. They are obviously very proud of their condo. The condo was clean, bright and spacious, with more closets and storage than we could ever use. The appliances and furniture are above average, as is the condo in general. The sofa and love seat both have dual power operated recliners. There is a desk for a laptop and even a printer that we used a couple of times. Everything is as it is described in the VRBO listing. We were surprised by the amount and variety of personal supplies they provided. It turned out that the owners often stay here themselves and furnished it as they would their own home. There was nothing that we would need that wasn’t here. We are in the last week of our stay and have been very pleased with the central location and the proximity to amenities and shopping of every kind. The lakefront location truly enhanced the relaxing atmosphere that we were looking for. We made the mistake of feeding the ducks a few times and before long we had them waiting out front every morning, along with some of their friends and even a pair of Canada Geese. What a delight. If our travel plans bring us back to Arizona in the future, we would definitely want to stay here again.
