Real Alaskan Riverfront Log home

Spacious 3500 square foot 3 bedroom 3 1/2 bath Log home was hand built by the owner from logs harvested in the immediate area.

Live like an Alaskan while you vacation with all the comforts of home. The home features a large fully equipped kitchen, huge living room with vaulted ceiling and a stone fireplace plus a wonderful view of Trail River and the surrounding mountains out the windows. Satellite TV, DVD player as well as WI-FI.

The three bedrooms each have an en-suite private bath. The home can sleep up to 9.

Sit on the porch and enjoy your morning coffee or prepare a meal on the grill. In the evening start a fire in the fire pit located a few feet from the river and recap your adventures of the day. Bring your pole and fish right from the yard. Covered carport so you won't get wet coming or going if it happens to rain.

Situated smack dab in the middle of all the action. 5 minutes from Moose Pass, 20 minutes to Seward and Resurrection Bay, 30 minutes from Cooper Landing and the world class fisheries on the Kenai and Russian Rivers, 45 minutes from the historic mining town of Hope. 1 1/2 hour from Anchorage and Soldotna/Kenai.

Such a nice host and an amazing property!!! Todd built the cabin himself and did an incredible job of it. Felt like we were walking into the "Yellowstone" cabin. Just a short trip to Seward and the views can't be beat!!!

Todd built and has maintained this lovely log cabin that is immediately adjacent to a great river. My group enjoyed fishing every morning and evening and were very successful with fly rods and spinning set ups (rainbows and dolly varden). The kitchen is well stocked, beds comfortable and the whole place quite spacious. We used the BBQ, made a fire in the evenings and generally enjoyed everything about our visit. Todd was very friendly and checked that everything was OK, which we appreciated. We look forward to returning!

Beautiful property! The house was set up great for us. Large area downstairs to accommodate all of us for cooking and playing games. Todd was a great host and very responsive! He even helped me with a tire problem. Really liked talking to him and hearing about the history of the place. Hopefully Iā€™ll stay again someday!

It is a beautiful home with a well kept lawn and fire pit with several chairs next to a lovely flowing river. The kitchen is well supplied and beds are comfortable - including the rollaway and daybeds. The host is friendly and readily available. We did a lot of activities away from the home but enjoyed all our time spent there.

Wonderful cabin!

We very much enjoyed our time at this cabin! Our family of 7 had plenty of space for all our stuff. The outside space is lovely and has a great view. Todd was very easy to communicate with. Would absolutely stay here again if we were ever in the area.

Beautiful setting

We loved the river house and spent every evening in the backyard enjoying the view. Our boys fished (and caught) in the river everyday with the poles that Todd, the owner, had provided. We had a campfire every evening and were very appreciative of the firewood that was provided for us to use. The house was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had plenty for us to cook our own meals. The home is right on the highway so there was some road noise during the night. The train tracks go right along side the same road so we heard the train occasionally as well. The master bedroom had a tall ceiling with uncovered dormer windows which was problematic with the never-ending daylight. Despite these things, we would definitely recommend this home to others and stay here again. Todd was a great host!

Amazing family vacation

House was perfect for our family of 9. Plenty of space of bedrooms and bathrooms. Location was great. Plenty of kitchen utensils, dishes, pans, etc. Pool table could use a little tlc and in a tight space. A little road noise from traffic when outside, but didnā€™t bother us. Outdoors seating and fire pit was great for relaxing with a fire, few drinks, evening book reading. Caught a few fish in river next to house. Todd was great host to work with. Definitely recommend and would return.

A little piece of paradise

We had an amazing stay at this fabulous home. The home was well stocked and clean. I would advise portable fans or opening some windows as the rooms were a bit warm. The home isnā€™t far from a road but the traffic noise wasnā€™t bad and the views more than made up for it. We enjoyed watching ducks fight the rivers current and salmon jumping. Over all it was such a relaxing stay and a place that weā€™d love to visit again.

Beautiful Log Home on the river

This is a beautiful log home with views of the river from the main floor kitchen, great room and master bedroom. Very spacious and homey feel. The 2 bedrooms upstairs are not as big with no views and felt a little closed off. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend and would stay at this property again.

We loved the log cabin. Itā€™s gorgeous and fun and the location worked out great for our group. We loved to fire pit by the river. We slept great in the cozy bedrooms. It was exactly what we were looking for on our first trip to Alaska.

Perfect Spot!

We were so happy with this choice we made of staying at this property. After being on a cruise ship with a ton of people to sit and relax in peaceful & beautiful surroundings was perfect. The house had everything and the beds were comfortable. Easy drive from Seward. There was plenty of room for us all to enjoy ourselves and plenty of toys and games to use. Would totally stay here again if in this area.

Awesome Alaska Vacation

The house was awesome. For us it was a great location, on the side of the river and close to Mosse Pass and a relatively short and beautiful drive to Seward. Awesome yard, fishing poles and games provided. Kitchen was stocked. Plenty of space in the house to congregate.
