Enjoy this peaceful and quiet setting in the heart of Shenendoah Valley with beautiful mountain views, and a large pond with geese and other wildlife. For your pleasure, this one bedroom, up-to-date, lower level, 1100-square-foot private suite includes a kitchenette, queen-size bed, daybed, private laundry facility, large bathroom, smart TV, and wifi.

Located in the city Waynesboro, it is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, wineries, breweries, the Wildlife Center of Virginia, and Fishburne Military Academy. Take pleasure in checking out local shopping, restaurants, theaters, and renowned artist's P Buckley Moss Gallery.

The suite is located just 10 minutes from from either I-64, or I-81. Whether going north, east or west -- travel time to Charlottesville, Staunton, or Harrisonburg is about 35 minutes either way. If you're heading south, Roanoke is about a 90-minutes drive.

The Grey Goose Suite is a perfect stop for vacationing travelers, a place to stay when visiting friends or family, business layovers, or just giving yourself some time to savor new things.

The location of the property was very close to town easy to get in and out of. It was very clean and bigger than it seems in the pictures. It was very nice day.

Super clean and so easy and comfortable to stay there. The owner has thought of every little detail. Well stocked bathroom with everything you could think of, satin pillowcases, had a bottle of wine and water and drinks in the fridge. Good snacks. Plenty of coffee bar supplies. Even had a small toaster oven! Cozy throws, bathrobes, laundry facilities right there with needed supplies including a bra bag, entire charging dock with every type of cord needed - you name it!!! Tons of little details I've never seen a place have it all like this! Very welcoming and gave a quick overview to get oriented to the place and then faded into the background, yet available if had questions. Great check in and check out times. I can't recommend this place enough!!!

Quiet & Relaxing Getaway

The Grey Goose Inn was wonderful! It was very quiet, clean, and cozy. It was tucked away in a nice neighborhood with a beautiful view that was close to shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. The host was wonderful and provided a really comfortable place that my husband and I will look forward to booking again in the future.

Great Experience!

Kathleen was a fabulous host and greeted us warmly when we arrived. The property was clean, cozy and well stocked with items we didn't even expect! Communicating with Kathleen was easy and she provided some good insights into the area. Location was great and neighborhood was quiet. Overall great stay!

Fantastic!

My wife and I stayed here during our anniversary trip. Kathleen left us a personalized note, anniversary cupcakes, and she made sure we had everything we needed. She was also very communicative the whole time we were there. We will definitely consider staying here again the next time we're in the area.

My friend and I had a great time staying here! It looks exactly like the pictures, was extremely clean and comfortable, and the location itself is beautiful. We loved seeing the geese come right up to the door. Thank you so much to our excellent host, who was a great communicator and set up everything with amazing care. The Best Host/Amazing Home

Perfect getaway

Kathleen is a perfect host & has so many little details to make your stay comfortable. The house is in a safe area close to a lot of things. The house is spotless. I can say enough about how amazing this property & host are. Thank you for the birthday cake for my daughter. It was perfect. We will be back!

Excellent location and unit but hard to reach behind the building

I loved the place and the owner, she was great. The unit was perfect for an elderly woman and myself. However, she had a terrible time walking around the building on sloping slate stones. I just wish I knew it was a cellar unit around the building when I booked. We did love the place, though!

Perfection!

Kathleen's Grey Goose Inn lived up to all the other glowing reviews. She truly has thought of every need and comfort. Her place is lovely, and it served as a perfect spot to rest between all the events of our busy week. Five starts isn't enough! (Also, the geese arrived each morning, as though they knew their role. ) We'll be back, no doubt.

Beautiful, spacious and immaculate place. Wonderful place to stay in a quiet Waynesboro neighborhood. The host is welcoming and the rental is a relaxing spot. Quality beds and linens. Highly recommend and will stay again when in the area. Entry is in the back of the home so anyone with mobility issues should pass on this one. Otherwise it is easy to go to local restaurants and nearby wineries, parks and hiking trails.

Perfect Getaway

Kathleen’s property was the perfect place to stay for our fall getaway! There was a personalized note waiting when we arrived and the fridge was stocked with water, soda, beer, and wine. She also provided small snacks and homemade cookies! Her property exceeded our expectations - it was very spacious, super clean, and had everything you could possibly need. We took advantage of the fireplace as well. The check in process was very simple and Kathleen stopped by the next day to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again and enjoyed our stay.

Gem of a Host and Property!

This was our 2nd year staying at Kathleen's property, The Grey Goose Inn. Kathleen. Is the most kind and thoughtful host. It was our anniversary trip and she had anniversary cupcakes waiting for us. The fridge was stocked with a few drinks and yummy snacks as well. We realized we forgot our soap and toothbrushes and she had plenty of toiletries ready for our use as well. I can't say enough about how CLEAN her home is. There is also a beautiful new fireplace which made the nights feel extra homey and cozy. While staying in Waynesboro we visited White Oak Canyon Trail, the Shenandoah Caverns, Nelson 151, and Staunton. Her place is near everything you could explore! Thank you Kathleen and can't wait to see you next year!❤️

Picture Perfect

We're repeat visitors to the Waynesboro area and have previously stayed at hotels or B&B's. When we found this listing we decided to give it a try and we are so happy that we did. The property greatly exceeded our expectations and Kathleen could not have been a better hostess. Location is excellent, beautiful sunrises and watching the geese each morning arriving at the pond was a real treat. Will definitely be staying here again if available for future trips.
