I am offering an apartment located in the basement of my home in Girasole, a small town in the center of the eastern coast. My guests love the tranquility of the neighborhood and the town, as well as the ease with which they can reach the most beautiful beaches—which are awarded the “Blue Flag” designation year after year—in just a 10- to 15-minute drive. <br>In addition, the famous coves along the Baunei coast—including Cala Mariolu, the second most beautiful beach in the world—are accessible by boat.<br><br>The house is spacious, cool, and bright, featuring a large open-concept layout with an entryway, living room, kitchen, and two bedrooms—one with a double bed and one with twin beds (sleeps 4 in total)—as well as a spacious bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. Outside, there is also another shower with hot water, which is very useful and convenient when returning from the beach. A partially covered veranda, located at the entrance, allows you to relax and enjoy meals outdoors.<br>The apartment is also equipped with a stable Wi-Fi connection and an air conditioner in the living area.<br>Bed and bath linens are available upon request (€16 per person per week).<br><br>The apartment has a separate entrance, and the garden and barbecue are shared with the property owners, although the host does not use them frequently while guests are staying.<br>Guests can park their car outside the house, next to the entrance gate in a designated parking space.<br><br>In the immediate vicinity, at the marinas of Santa Maria Navarrese and Arbatax, ferries and small boats take tourists daily to the famous coves along the Baunei coast: Cala Mariolu, Cala Sisine, and Cala dei Gabbiani—with crystal-clear waters and seabeds ranging from rocky to sandy—are all fascinating destinations for snorkeling enthusiasts.<br><br>Ogliastra isn’t just about the sea; from Girasole, you can easily reach the inland areas (30–45 minutes) and enjoy an endless variety of landscapes that are unique from an environmental and naturalistic perspective, visit the small villages characterized by their picturesque “tacchi,” go free-climbing, and hike along the trails.<br>Furthermore, for lovers of good food and wine, Ogliastra offers a wide selection of local specialties to sample.<br><br> The house is located in the center of town in a secluded and quiet area. Within walking distance, you’ll find: a convenience store, butcher shop, pharmacy, post office, tobacco shop, café, playground, restaurant-pizzeria, and hair salon.<br><br>A car is necessary to get around and explore the area’s beautiful destinations. For cycling enthusiasts, Girasole and all of Ogliastra are perfect for you!
