El Patio del Limonero is located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Cordoba: Santa Marina, Fernandina Church and ancient Mosque. It is within the historical center, very close to all the most emblematic places of the city, La Corredera, Roman Temple, Viana Palace, La Merced Palace (all between 5-10 "walking), Mosque 20" Walking, etc and where to enjoy a very comfortable and special slant for the very charm of this house.

The apartment is located in a house of Arab origin with several patios .. It is ideal to come with family, couple, friends, because you can enjoy your own outdoor spaces, patio, porches, etc.
The whole south-facing apartment with a lot of light, consists of living-dining room with integrated kitchen, bedroom with a view to the terrace with porch, and a bathroom. It also has a private patio and porch on the ground floor, and porch on the upper floor, where you can sunbathe or enjoy rest and silence.

It was rehabilitated maintaining the original typology and materials, which gives it a certain uniqueness, wooden beams, old brick, clay floors, Arab tiles, old doors, etc.
The neighborhood:
The district of Santa Marina in the Historic Quarter is famous for its patios and for being the bullfighters' neighborhood and the Palacio de Viana; Of white houses on two floors, very quiet but next to the city center and with all kinds of services (supermarket, pharmacy, etc). Very well connected by public transport.

Only there for two days, wish it had been more. The apartment is well equipped and very cute. The outdoor patio is wonderful and very relaxing. Peaceful Retreat

The property is quiet, clean, and in walking distance to many attractions. Ana was very nice, accessible and patient. My husband and I got lost many time on our way to the property and Ana helped us without hesitation.

Wonderful

Ana's appartement is very nice and cozy, ful of individual little things, making it very charming. And the terrace and patio are calm, with flowers, lemon tree and shadow. We loved sitting there! Ana and her son have been great and very helpful hosts - thank you again, Angel! I really recommend Ana's appartement!

Quaint appartement

Our hostess was fluent in English. Flat was clean, quaint with lots of character. Kitchen was very small but adequate for our two night stay. Flat is an outstanding neighbourhood. Truly loved the city of Cordoba.

Two night break

A delightful apartment, very central but very quiet. Ana was very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable about the area with lots of advice on where to visit and eat. Garage space was very secure. The basket of lemons picked from her patio and left for our G and Tā€™s was a lovely touch.

Not a great experience

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay in this place. We were asked to accommodate workmen on two occasions, the first to paint the steps leading to the apartment which meant we couldnā€™t walk on them for three hours and the second time to have workmen putting in netting at the windows which we refused. We felt all these things should have been done when the owner had no guests staying. One day we were locked out of the apartment completely for an hour and on another occasion the owner who lives at the adjoining property went away turning off the gas and leaving us with no hot water for 24 hours. We were told we could have hot water via the electricity supply but would have to pay for this ourselves. On the positive side, the apartment was in a nice location.

A Wonderful Week at Anaā€™s Place

The flat is perfectly situated to explore all CĆ³rdobaā€™s main attractions on foot. Our host, Ana, was incredibly helpful and gave us two or three suggestions of things not to miss each day we were there. She was always readily available to assist and help with any requests. Her English is very good as well! Ana was even able to arrange underground parking for us at a very reasonable fee practically right across the street. The pictures of the flat are accurate and the amenities are as described. The flat is cozy, comfortable and well decorated. The air conditioning was a godsend given that the early-May temperatures were in the mid to high 30s. The shower was excellent, with plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The bathroom also contains a very-functional washer. We enjoyed sitting out in the evenings on the private balcony with its view of Anaā€™s beautiful inner-courtyard garden with filled with lemon and orange trees. We could pick fresh lemons right from the walkway outside the apartment! We were very fortunate to arrive just in time for the second week of the annual Festival of Patios, where many homes open their inner courtyards so visitors can enjoy their incredible concealed gardens. Ana made sure we knew which were the ā€œmust-seesā€ and she was absolutely right! She also directed us to a fabulous open-air flamenco concert, which provided some of the best flamenco music Iā€™d ever heard, even after living in Spain and travelling to this area before. The only drawback is the kitchen, which is not really a kitchen at all, but a counter in one corner of the living room. It was fine for very basic things like making breakfast or sandwiches, but if you plan to cook all your own meals while youā€™re here, it would be a major stretch. This was no problem for us, though, because we ate our main meals out most days. But you do need to be aware. All in all, we really loved our stay with Ana. She is very-well educated and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of Cordoba, particularly its history, landmarks and culture. You wonā€™t be sorry you stayed here. Thanks, Ana. Un abrazo!

Hola, estuve con mi hermana para un finde largo y lo pasamos super bien. El alojamiento fue perfecto para nosotras, bien equipado, limpio y sobre todo con un patio hermoso. Solo estar sentada en el patio con los arboles y plantas fue suficiente para relajarnos y estar tranquilas. La host, Ana es muy simpatica y nos ayudĆ³ mucho. Nos sentimos muy comodas con ella y en el alojamiento. Todo en uno fue una experiencia maravillosa.

Schnucklige Ferienwohnung mit andalusischen Ambiente

Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet mehrere Mƶglichkeiten, sich drauƟen aufzuhalten. Sie liegt am Rande der Altstadt, zur Mezquita lƤuft man durch die Gassen ca. eine Viertelstunde. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Wonderful place - Totalmente recomendable

The apartment is lovely with its green patio and perfectly situated in the north of the historic center with all the interesting sites in walking distance! We relaxed and highly enjoyed our stay in Cordoba although it was very hot. Ana, our host is extremly friendly and helpful! We had a really wonderful time! El patio del limonero es muy hermoso, tranquil y aunque hacia mucho calor nos disfrutamos de nuestro estancia completamente!! Ana es muy sympatica y dispone de muchisimos informacionces! Nice apartment in a quiet area of Cordoba

The apartment is located in a quiet part of the old part of Cordoba. The highlights of the city were within maximum 30min walking distance. It had all the needed amenities and was very nicely appointed. The owner as very helpful in recommending places to see and eat. She directed us to current local events. Parking in the quarter is very limited but there is free public parking around 10 min walk away.
