The perfect shopping and sightseeing base!

Spacious 2 bedroom flat in Tufnell Park. 5 minutes from tube. 10 mins from Camden Town. Large living room, all mod cons. Bath & Shower, separate toilet. Check in is 100% flexible (by arrangement).

The Space

This is a wonderfully light, spacious and trendy 2 double bedroom flat in a fabulous neighbourhood. Situated on the ground floor it's ideally located for all city transport routes.
There's s a large living room, two substantial double bedrooms, a separate bath/shower and toilet. The kitchen is fully fitted with modern appliances (microwave, toaster, washing machine etc) and there's free high speed wifi and cable TV.

Tea, coffee, fresh linen and towels will all be provided.

A double mattress is available for the living room upon request.

Interaction with Guests

It's likely I'll be staying locally during your stay so I can interact as much as you'd like whether it's in person or over the phone. If you'd like to know the best bars and restaurants I can tell you.

The Neighbourhood

Set in a quiet residential street but minutes away from Kentish Town and Tufnell Park High Streets – both with fantastic pubs, restaurants, supermarkets, artisan food and coffee shops. Live music at the Forum and various pubs. 10 minutes from Camden's bustling market and nightlife. Hampstead Heath is minutes away - 790 acres of parkland with 3 open air swimming areas and one of the best views of London's skyline from Parliament Hill.

Getting Around

Transport links are excellent. 5 minutes to Tufnell Park tube (15 mins to West End) and Gospel Oak overground for access to two Westfield shopping centres (Stratford and Shepherds Bush), trendy Shoreditch area (Shoreditch High Street) and Islington's
Upper Street (Highbury & Islington).

Les hÓtes nous ont donné toutes les informations utiles pour notre arrivée, tout comme les commodités pour nous faciliter la vie. Le logement est parfait pour une famille. Nous étions 5 et on avait tout le confort. Les premières nécessitées au cas où le temps qu'on aille faire nos courses. Nous n'avons pas eu besoin de contacter nos hÓtes mais on savait que si besoin c'était possible. Le peu d'échange que nous avons eu les réponses étaient rapides. Je recommande le logement et je recommande Londres !

Fab stay for a family with children

Fantastic and spacious apartment which is close to different transport options to get into London. We had plenty of room, and everything was available (including clothes rack to hang clothes), which was so appreciated when travelling with children. We thought the place was even better than the photos showed. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Great price-quality ratio

Very nice host and positivly sirprised by the amenities. Lots of kitchen appliances, books, boards games. Very orderly with lots of storage for clothes and food.

WOHNUNG 4 Grangemill

Die Wohnung liegt in einem belebten Quartier, 5 Gehminuten von der Tube Station Tufnell entfernt. In nächster Nähe befinden sich verschiedene Lebensmittelläden und Restaurants. Der Wohnblock ist jedoch recht heruntergekommen. Die Wohnung war von der Grösse ausreichend für unsere 5 köpfige Familie, eine zusätzliche Matratze war bereitgestellt. Sehr praktisch war für uns das Waschmaschinen/Tumbler Gerät. Die Wohnung war jedoch sehr dreckig, grobe Verschmutzungen in der Küche, teilweise verschmutztes WC, sehr stark verstaubt, schimmlige Fugen an den Fenstern und feuchter Geruch. Die Küchenzeile und auch andere Einrichtungsgegenstände sind ziemlich abgenutzt. Das empfanden wir als sehr unangenehm.

Lage zur Tube gut, Sauberkeit kƶnnte besser sein

Wohnung liegt ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg zur Tube, von dort ca. 15 Minuten in die City. Hinter dem Haus läuft eine Bahnstrecke, von der besonders nachts durch Güterzüge eine Lärmbelästigung ausgeht. Die Wohnung selbst ist geräumig, aber insgesamt ziemlich abgewohnt und dürfte mal wieder gründlich gereinigt werden (Staub bzw. Dreck hinter Küchentür, Kühlschrank, in sämtlichen Fensterrahmen,...). Insgesamt war es ok, aber die "schmutzigen Ecken" haben uns schon ein wenig gestört. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter sehr unkompliziert und nett.

NOT WHAT IS EXPECTED

THERE WAS NO hot water to have an actual bath in we had boil it from the kettle!YOU can only have showers,no longer than 15 max!! there isn't free view channels? there is ONLY 8 channels as virgin tv no net flex cuts off at the middle of the movie. the kitchen is old as everything else in it!! its only benefit is the peace in the unit! as the building is a housing commission flats!! it isn't the neighbour hood! not what is said to be? the host cares about the money,more than anything else. I was in London due to my illness and visiting Dr's!! i had to plead to get an hour later check out. Lloyd charged me an extra fee in cash for the longer days we stayed,yet he didn't use the VRBO sight for the extended stay he said it was fine not to use VRBO!! The beds are not as comfortable as you would think it would be! the linen isn't bad! but towels are older and would need a change! the train station is close,but you cannot hear the noise. And you do have to walk a distance to get to a convenient store!! He charges high rates for Friday and Saturday. Trust me not worth that high of a rate. The plus was the milk bread and butter and juice left in the fridge. If you ask for anything else if not fixed as lamp bulbs or cleaner pots and bowels,he doesn't provide it. Good luck who ever doesn't know any better? much better places to be found on the sight in London. He may not like me for speaking the truth!! but i would rather tell the truth so other guests know what to expect.

Schƶne gerƤumige Wohnung/Appartment 20 Min. vom Londoner Zentrum entfernt

Wir haben die Wohnung als Familie gemietet und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter sowohl im Vorfeld als auch wƤhrend des Aufenthaltes war top. Die Ausstattung bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt, die QualitƤt entspricht dem englischen Standard. Mit der Northern Line von Tufnell Park ist man innerhalb von nur 15-20 min. im Zentrum. Wenn wir mal wieder mit der Familie in London sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Große Wohnung in ruhiger Lage mit guter Anbindung an die Underground

Die Wohnung ist groß, mit 2 sep. Schlafzimmern. Das Badezimmer für einen Aufenthalt mit 4 Pers. allerdings sehr klein. Ansonsten gibt es in der Wohnung alles was man so braucht. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße ohne Verkehr. Die direkt neben der Wohnung liegende Bahnlinie stört kaum. (Nur am frühen Morgen fuhr täglich 1 lauter Zug vorbei.) Zu Fuß ist man in 5 Minuten an der Underground-Station Tufnell Park mit schneller Anbindung an alle Attraktionen. Wir waren 5 Nächte dort und hatten einen gelungenen Urlaub in London!

Clean, functional apartment short walk from the tube and the Heath with decent restaurants nearby.

Our family liked the apartment. There were enough sheets and towels for the 5 of us. Nice of the owner to leave us fresh bread, milk and juice. Wifi and cable were easy to navigate. Lots of space. We enjoyed eating dinner nearby at the Bull & Last, the Bull & Gate and East Pizza, recommended by the owner. Only drawback was there was some confusion about the exact street address which confused us and the taxi driver getting there. The building itself and the street it is on are not attractive but the neighbourhood is lovely overall. Our first evening we had an easy, pretty walk to Hamstead Heath. Fairly long tube ride downtown but the affordability of the unit makes it worth it.

nice and clean apartment in good reach by public transport

+ easy to reach from CC via tube (Tufnell Park) - bus C2 takes a while but worthwhile for a sightseeing trip + don't miss to stroll through greens of close-by Hampstead Heath - nice view of the city + clean, spacious (for family of 5 with 3 teenage kids), bright + good shower and beds - kitchen reasonably well equipped - a proper pot for cooking would be great :-) - apartment can get warm during hot summer days

Nice apartment with good location

Apartment five minutes walk from the metro. We got to the center in a trip of 30/40 minutes. The neighborhood is quiet and the apartment is nice and with space for 6 people. The cooking utensils are reduced and could be improved. Cleaning the stove and pots can also be a point to improve. The entrance of the building is sloppy and a bit unkempt, but it is nothing that is not surpassed, and compensated by the sympathy and availability of the owner. The apartment serves well for a stay of a few days. The neighborhood has some local grocery stores, but nothing with much choice, however enough to buy food for one or other light meal. I advise you to rent Susana Cachadinha

Quality flat with easy access to transportation

This flat worked very well for us. 2 adults and two teenagers. Public transit was just a few minutes walk as well as grocery stores
