Very accommodating host she worked with us on anything we needed. Beautiful countryside cottage very quiet but close enough to St Andrews and other sites of interest in the area. I would stay there again if I ever go back

It was a quiet and lovely setting on a farm and only 10 minutes drive to St Andrews. All was very comfortable and the host was very helpful - she lives next door on the property.

A beautiful country stay

We’d a lovely stay in Cupar. The rooms were very well finished and spacious. The hot tub was perfect.

Comfortable stay with friends. Need a car ro get around the area but beautiful. Hot tub was great and everything you need to cook was privided. Beds really comfortable, would definitely stay again. Our host Susan was fabulous and so lovely.

Long weekend stay

Holiday with friends from Texas

Great stay.. great host, helpful in everything thing we asked for.. great location for the train to Edinburgh absolute gorgeous property! Would definitely stay there again!! Thanks sue.. you made our stay most welcoming.. and the beds we’re amazing!

New Year Stay

We stayed 4 nights , the accommodation was excellent and just as described. The hot tub was enjoyed by the children, even in the inclement weather! Communication before and during our stay with Sue, the host was also excellent, and we were very appreciative of the board games she loaned for us to play with the children! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

Celebrating 60th birthday

The house was perfect for us. Lovely setting, comfortable beds, very clean throughout, hot tub great. Good location for visiting St Andrew’s. Susan was very helpful with any problems.

Fresh linens, soft beds and peaceful surroundings!

Convenient to all of Fife. Quiet, well kept, well-stocked property. Clean! The Courtyard and The Kettlebridge are nice restaurants fairly close by. Convenient to golf and groceries.

Wonderful !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage and had a lovely welcome from the owners. We had everything we could have wished for in a cosy relaxed atmosphere. The cottage was very clean and beautifully furnished and the enclosed garden was very pretty. We did not try the hot tub but it looked very inviting. We would definitely stay again sometime.

Great location!

Sue was fantastic from start to finish. Really appreciated her being so available to help with things. The place has everything you need. The hot tub was fun, the sun even came out as we sat in it. The courtyard is a sun trap which helped on a windy day. We had a four year old with us and she loved the swings and soccer goal. Beds are very comfortable and everything was very clean. Would stay here again!

2020 holiday

I stayed here with a group of close friends over the weekend and our time at the property was perfect. The house was spotless on arrival and was fully stocked with all the essentials we needed like soaps, towels etc. Susan and her husband both went above and beyond to cater to our every need and it was more than appreciated. I could not recommend this place enough. *****

Very nice but not up to expectations.

Initially we had difficulty finding the address. Need better communication on that. Need better description of each room’s bathroom. We expected 3 en suite bedrooms. That was a disappointment.

Disappointing review as we did all we could to make these guests welcome and comfortable as we do with all our guests The bathroom descriptions were accurate as per the VRBO set up ie bathrooms one and two en-suite Bathroom three not so listed. This is also clearly .stated in the general description of the cottage Re finding the property it is in the country and we give as much detail as we can Contact number is available on the site should guests have any difficulty finding the property.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is so charming! Plenty spacious and very comfortable with flowers blooming and green pastures around. Saint Andrews was a very short drive away and getting out of town was nice in the evenings.

Clean, Well-Located Property with Amiable Hosts

The property is well-situated and close to nearby golf courses and beaches. We would definitely return, in large part due to the family friendly and well-considered amenities provided to guests in the property and on the grounds.

Family Break in Cupar

Renting the property was very easy and communication with the owner Sue was really easy and received responses very quickly. The property was amazing, great accommodation, facilities and outdoor space. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The outdoor Courtyard has plenty of room and seating. Sue was a joy to meet and was so friendly and welcoming. Lovely place and will definitely stay again.

Girls weekend Away

This is a lovely cosy property and ideal for 6 adults. We had everything we needed and we were all very comfortable. The beds were amazing with lovely bed linen and good quality pillows. The hot tub was amazing and very easy to use. Fluffy bathrobes and pool towels supplied. Sue and Douglas were great hosts. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and would happily stay again,

Relaxing stay.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The property was extremely well decorated and comfortable. The hot tub was a real bonus, especially when the weather was not so good. We loved the courtyard setting with beautiful planting. Thanks to Sue for making us feel so welcome!

Relaxing Girls Weekend

Balass was perfect for our relaxing get away. Lovely property, beautifully decorated and with all the essentials provided (as well as little extras). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and dips in the HotTub. The location is fantastic, out in the countryside but close to Cupar and St Andrews for a wander. We received a warm welcome from our host.
