PENN STATE BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY HOME

Welcome to our home! The entire house would be yours Friday through Sunday! We want you to feel welcome and at home! We are 8 miles from the PSU campus.

There is 2000 square feet of space for you to feel at home while enjoying the PSU football game! We have a full bedroom, 2 bathrooms, rustic living room, full kitchen. Accommodations to sleep 8. There is also an outdoor campfire pit. Firewood, bed linens, and towels provided. You will look across the mountains to PSU and the leaves are always breathtaking as they change color.

Transportation and grocery stocking available for extra fees, we can discuss. You may borrow our mountain bikes for the trails around our home or enjoy some autumn hiking. You will not be disappointed and will leave feeling like you had a nice, fall vacation. Please email for pricing as we will likely rent fast!

Great stay!

Beautiful home! Close to Penn State. Owner was easy to communicate with and very accommodating! Had beds ready to go and offered to drive one of our late guests to the game. Would definitely rent again!

You feel so at home!

We just checked out and immediately rebooked with this awesome family for next fall! They cater to you and make you feel like you are at your own home. The full fridge, coffee and microwave were key. But THE VIEW and the mountaintop sunrises were breathtaking. Worth the extra driving time from Downtown State College. Thank you Synder Family!

Amazing Weekend At Penn State

We had an amazing weekend at State College with friends ad family. Allison made this trip all so easy for us! We didn't hang at the house much as we wanted to spend so much time with our nephew on campus, but everything was there for us when we were there, and the house allowed all 10 of us to stay together. It was perfect for us. thank you!

Great football weekend

We arrived from out of town for a football weekend to find the place very inviting and very clean. Had one bedroom, but plenty of space with pullout sofa and air mattress to accommodate our 6-person group comfortably. The home is about 20 minutes to campus, but an easy drive that we didn’t mind. The owners were extremely kind and willing to help any way they could…the owner’s son drove part of our group to the tailgate which was very convenient. I would recommend staying here to others and glad we did. Thanks again to the Snyders…We Are, grateful!!

Great football weekend at Psu

This property is a beautiful home in a country setting with a great view and was decorated very nicely( ready for fall with mum’s and pumpkins). it was cozy and had all the extra touches with bathroom essentials and even having stickies for us to enjoy. One amazing item was the hospitality of host when she volunteered to give a few family members a ride to campus when they arrived late and needed to get a ride to Psu tailgate!! That really meant a lot !! Great place to stay and enjoy a cozy rental with all you need to have a great stay !

Great getaway!

Happy in Happy Valley!

Tom, Ali and their family were gracious hosts. After a Penn State game and spending the day in town, we ventured into the country to find a roaring campfire (complete with marshmallows) and some much needed peace a quiet. Our family (with 4 big kids) slept comfortably and woke up to the beautiful surroundings of the mountains. The wife and I hung out on the porch early with some coffee and enjoyed the sunshine. We hope to be back soon!

comfortable stay with gorgeous views!

We were visiting Penn State in April for the Annual Blue and White game. We had our 3 children with 3 of their friends. Ali was the perfect host; she was easily accessible via text if we needed anything or had questions. When we arrived, she had the fire pit roaring and ready for s'mores. THANK YOU! We had plenty of space for sleeping (a bedroom for ourselves and all the kids were out in the living space on air mattresses and the pullout couch. Beds were comfortable, large sized bathroom, very clean. No kitchen, but there's a full sized fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. We brought some easy breakfast foods as well as left over pizza and popcorn for a light night snack and plenty of marshmallows. Kids kids loved exploring the woods! There were 2 bikes for riding around the mountain and tetherball in the yard. The views of the surrounding mountains are breathtaking. It's a good 20-25 minutes or so from Penn State campus, so if you don't mind driving a bit, this is a fantastic find. Thank you for hosting our family! We enjoyed meeting you!

Beautiful Home

We had a great stay. It was a family trip so had a bunch of kids in tow. The space was perfect, clean, comfortable and nice and warm for our cold weekend. Allison was super nice, easy to work with and very welcoming. Great communication. I would definitely recommend.

This is a lovely very secluded mountain retreat somewhat close to Penn State- no traffic on the way to the game!! Allie was great and took care of anything we needed. I guess when I booked it I overlooked the fact that there was only one seperate bedroom which was great but other members of our group slept on couches and deluxe aerobeds but that was probably my fault for not paying attention and finding such a great place to sleep 8-10 people. Other than that I have no complaints. Thx for sharing your home.

Great & beautiful place to stay

We had a great stay. The owners are extremely friendly and really go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. The home is beautiful, very clean, and spacious. We were completely satisfied with our booking, and would definitely go back!

Relaxing space with a gorgeous view, an easy drive to the Penn State campus!

Allison was absolutely wonderful. She greeted us as we arrived, gave us a great overview and helpful tips, and immediately made us feel at home! She was easily reachable via text throughout our stay. The space was spotless, and exactly what we needed to come back to after a wet, cold day outdoors. Would definitely stay again!

Great woodsy location high upon a hill. Casual elegance with loads of room for extended family

We had a great stay. Perfect for our multi-generational group. Plenty of room to socialize and sleep. Mountain country setting, deer roaming out back. We brought a small electric griddle for making pancakes and eggs in the morning, which worked out perfectly. There’s also an outdoor grill. Great host family.

Great football weekend retreat for Penn State games

Can't say enough about what gracious hosts the Snyders' are! They went out of their way to be sure that we had what we needed and gave helpful suggestions to make our game day experience the best possible. The bedding was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with necessities. The property's beautiful wooded location is very scenic. I wandered outside early in the morning to see 6 deer grazing on the lawn below the house. I would love to return when the leaves are changing color... I'm sure it would be spectacular! .
