Amazing Mountain Views - Flagstaff Peak View Retreat spacious with AC

Sit back and relax in front of oversized windows framing incredible views of the San Francisco Peaks. Located on the desirable west side of town, the house is two minutes from some of the best hiking and biking trails in the area, yet only five minutes from downtown Flagstaff and ten minutes from NAU. It is located just three miles from the 180 turnoff to the Snowbowl ski area.

With wood finishes and cozy cabin charm, the home features comfortable bedrooms, a large kitchen, and plenty of space for the whole family. Parks, the Museum of Northern Arizona, and trails are all in walking distance. Maps of mountain bike and hiking trails, local information, and sightseeing and restaurant recommendations are provided.

Use the home as a base for wonderful adventures or enjoy simply soaking in the views. You'll find yourself delightfully cool in the summer (elevation over 7000 feet) and able to play in the snow (usually) in the winter. Stay once and you'll understand why this is such a special getaway.

The home sleeps 7-8 persons with four bedrooms (6 adults maximum): Master bedroom with king bed; Bedroom Two with a king bed; Bedroom Three with two twins; and Bedroom Four with a twin bed and twin trundle beneath.

This home is owned and managed by Peak View Retreat LLC, providing a comfortable and well-maintained retreat for your stay.

We really enjoyed our stay the house was great . We loved location to everything and out of busy part of Flagstaff area. Only complaint was patio was very covered in dust when we arrived and we just wanted to hang out there. House was well equipped with supply’s . Overall great experience .

Quick winter getaway

We wanted a few days to ski and explore and this house was in the perfect location between town and the slopes. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Becky, the host was easy and quick with her communication. Highly recommend.

Thanksgiving with our NAU student

We brought the family and grandparents to visit our LJ for Thanksgiving. The view of the mountain from the living room is superb. We enjoyed the quality time with family and loved having enough space for everyone to relax without being on top of each other. Plenty of rooms for everyone to have their own space and the big dining room table was perfect for Thanksgiving dinner!

Great vacation spot!

Property was great, comfortable and had everything we needed. It is an excellent location to access the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and all the things to do in Flagstaff! Great neighborhood. Owner was great, responded immediately to any issues. Highly recommend this property.

Great House!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is very comfortable and much bigger than I thought. Beautiful view of the San Francisco peaks and very close to Snowbowl activities. Highly recommend a pizza lunch on the patio of Fratelli's up the road.

Perfect location, ideal setting, will be back

We rented here over the Christmas holiday and the location is perfect. Located in a nice, quiet neighborhood with a park about 5 minutes walking distance. 5 minute drive to Downtown Flagstaff, 30 minutes to Williams (Bearazona, Deer Feeding), 1:15 to Grand Canyon, 8 minutes-ish to snow Bowl, 15 minutes to North Pole Experience (yes I have young boys). From the time we secured the rental until we left, Becky was an amazing communicator with the myriad of questions that I had. The house has pretty much everything one needs. We did however bring our own air fryer (Becky let me know the house did not have one). Hot water was great, washer/dryer huge plus, smart tv that the renter can log into their own accts (Netflix, Disney, etc), ping pong table in garage, parking in driveway for easy loading/unloading. It all was great. Only “knock”…. The beds were so soft, but that’s a personal thing as I like hard beds. We are planning to come back to Flagstaff in the summer and we will rent with Becky again. Thank you for letting us rent your home. Happy New Year Matt

Can't wait to get back!

The layout of the house is spacious and inviting. There are multiple bedrooms, an office, and quiet areas out of the way from the main living spaces where people can find quiet. I do the cooking and I could live in the kitchen. Frequently VRBO's have minimal things with which to cook meals. Not here. I couldn't think of anything I needed while we were there. The house is located close to the main attractions of the Grand Canyon and Sedona. We took some of our family members on a tour of the house via FaceTime and they all wanted to come with us next time. I rate this house in the top 1% of all the VRBO's in which we have stayed.

Northern Arizona is so special with its mountains, pines, and four seasons. Flagstaff is a wonderful, laid-back town. It's a college town so there are lots of cultural activities and plenty of good restaurants. You can enjoy an amazing variety of scenery within an hour of the house, including the Grand Canyon, Navajo Nation, and Sedona. Flag is the best spot in Arizona for mountain biking and hiking. Can you also enjoy downhill skiing at nearby Snowbowl and cross-country skiing at the Arizona Nordic Center.

The house has fantastic views of the San Francisco Peaks in Coconino National Forest. It is also quite large and comfortable, with a back patio that can seduce you for hours. If you want to hike or bike, you can access great trails within a mile of the house or even go into Flag's fun downtown on the urban trail.

Guests enjoy house amenities, nearby trails, skiing, and outdoor activities at their own risk. Children should be supervised at all times, and proper gear is recommended for hiking, biking, or snow activities.
