Nice place for vacation

House was great for our vacation. Everything was in excellent condition with nice firm mattresses. Pool was great for lounging in. Would definitely stay there again.

Stay from July 24 to August 8The host never showed up or communicated with us at any point during our stay. While we didn’t necessarily need assistance, a minimum level of courtesy and respect toward guests would have been appreciated.The property itself was okay, but far from fantastic.Pool: The best part of the stay. However, we had to clean iguana droppings around the pool area every day.Infrastructure: The place is aging.The fridge is rusting, though still functional.There is no oven, so we had to rely on the microwave.All rooms have wooden blinds that do not close fully, which allowed mosquitoes to enter at night. There are no mosquito nets.The living room has no AC, only the bedrooms. Furniture: Both indoor and outdoor furniture are very old and not comfortable.BBQ: Very good and functional.Overall, the stay was fine, but the property needs maintenance and the host’s lack of communication was disappointing.Very secure place as there is a gate with 27/7 gards at the entrace.Beach is 800m from the house.We had to pay 350 extra due to electricity and water consumption Beach is 800m form the pace

We are sorry to hear that our villa did not meet your expectations, however, we like to respond to some things you write, which are definitely not true. Infrastructure: The oven is a combi microwave and oven, and manual is in cabinet below. All bed-bathrooms have mosquito screens on the outside of the windows,it is impossible that they enter via the shutters. Indeed, there is no AC in the living, but there are 3 fans, and are most useful when you are not on terrace/in bedroom. Yes, some rust spots on the fridge, that's what tropical climate does to even stainless steel,as you wrote yourself it works fine, as well as the freezer and the ice-cube machine. Furniture: Most furniture in the living is only 2 yrs old. The lounge set outside is not new, but definitely comfortable, the 2 bear chairs near the pool are 6 month old, the sunbeds in good condition. NOT old, but maybe not your taste.... We dare to say, the house is well maintained and painted, we are frequently there to check. Curacao has a lot of iguanas, and they do not stop at a resort or hotel gate. In very hot periods they come to the pools to drink water. All info/photos on VRBO is/are up-to-date,also the charge for water/electicity is mentioned. You met the hosts at checkin and somewhere in between, checkout you skipped, so far you did not pay the 350. During your stay you did not inform them or us about your dissatisfaction. Lucky most guests rate us 10/10 and think it is a great place!

Curaçao Trip

We had a wonderful vacation in Curacao and absolutely LOVED the Villa Piscadera accommodations. The home is beautiful, well kept and very relaxing. As we ate breakfast on the covered porch, we were greeted by a menagerie of colorful birds including a few hummingbirds. The location is great with access to a beach and a handful of delicious restaurants in walking distance. The owners, onsite hosts and staff were all super friendly and helpful. The communication was excellent from the start. We highly recommend this Villa and look forward to coming back soon!

Perfect Vacation Home!

Our experience was nothing but fantastic! The home was just as it was described in the listing. The pool was a perfect way to end a long day at the beach. The location was great and the house was fully equipped. If you are worried about traveling with small children, this is where you want to stay. To get in and out of the property you have to go through the guard shack. It is a very secure property in a great location.

This property met all of our expectations!

The villa is well designed to enjoy the island breeze outdoors and pool. The landscape is beautiful and offers privacy from neighbors and the street. We enjoyed the convenience of nearby amenities including the walk to the beach or passes at the Marriott or Dreams resorts. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions with a smile. We have family in Curacao and this was the perfect location for us to gather for brunch And BBQ. We will return!!

Excellent séjour à Piscadera

Séjour très agréable autour d’une superbe piscine bien ensoleillée. Petit bémol concernant les charges additionnelles (eau, électricité à un tarif excessif).

Wonderful Villa

Villa Piscadera is fantastic vacation home. The photos on homeaway are up to date. The layout of the house is great for indoor/outdoor living. The pool and teak deck is awesome. You can open the entire glass front to the dining table and pool. The kitchen is well equipped and the gas grill is new. The house was cleaned very well when we arrived. The location of the home is great, it is just 5 minutes to a large grocery store and a short drive to the town. Overall the villa is a perfect destination for your vacation. Just be aware of the additional fees. The third bedroom costs extra, no matter how many people stay at the house. Beach Towels are not included in the rental which is a little odd. The listing on homeway said that the tax is included and lists the tax also on the order confirmation. However it is not calculated in the total that you pay. So you have to pay the tax onsite. When you compare prices on homeaway, keep in mind that the actual cost is 7% higher then listed due to the tax. Took us a while to figure that out and some back and forth with the owner. Other than that the house is really great and I can highly recommend it.

Everything was wonderful!

The home was as promised on Homeaway. The owners even presented us with an option to save us money when our number of guests changed from 3 to 2. This was not expected. Our only issue was the expensive water and electricity costs in Curacao. Thank you so very much for a fantastic vacation!
