This spacious one-bedroom apartment sits in a tall brick Colonial townhouse, constructed when Charlestown was the original Boston city center. The living room and eat-in kitchen face the lovely patio. The bedroom has 2 single beds that can be made into a king. The living room has a very comfortable queen sleep sofa. There is also a roll away bed but maximum 4 guests. Just a few steps from Charlestown center, you are just one block from the Bunker Hill Monument and close to the Freedom Trail that takes you to The USS Constitution. Walk 5-10 minutes to the subway, and 10 ā€“15 minutes to Bostonā€™s North End neighborhood. A parking garage is five minutes away or try street parking on weekends. All linens and kitchen items provided. No breakfast provided. Your hosts live above the apartment and has a dog (which does not enter the apartment). PARKING at nearby public garages. This was an absolutely enjoyable place to stay. The hosts, very nice people, thought of every little amenity we may have wanted even down to umbrellas for a rainy day. Itā€™s a great location in a lovely neighborhood and is so easy to get around. Itā€™s right down the street from the Bunker Hill monument. Found a wonderful bakery/coffee shop a couple of blocks away. The water ferry takes you to the wharf. Recommend the hop on and off buses too. Charming, and we highly recommend this place!

Historic stay

We had a stay here. The host was so helpful and the apartment was just like home. I would recommend staying here. The location to Bunker Hill was a beautiful site every time you left. We loved the little bakery down the street as well.

Great location, very comfortable, use of courtyard. We would book again.

Rooms were close to transportation, shopping, etc. and very clean. Host provided umbrellas, reusable shopping bags, etc. which we appreciated. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very much.

Love this neighborhood!

Amazing place to stay to explore historic Boston. So close to the end of the Freedom trail, which you can do in reverse. Great restaurants nearby. The host and hostess graciously shared their very clean home. Highly recommend this property.

Great 1 bedroom apt with wonderful location!

We loved the charm of this 1 bedroom apartment in a historical building. We also loved the short walk (3 blocks?) to restaurants, Whole Foods, & CVS. We were a bit worried about noise at night with how many people were out and about during the day, but there was little to no evening noise that we noticed.

Perfect Boston apartment

My family and I loved this charming, historical, well stocked apartment in Boston. It was the perfect location. We could walk anywhere! It was so clean and full of all the things you might need and want! The owners who live upstairs are very lovely and were accommodating to our needs! The neighborhood was beautiful. I would recommend this location to anyone and hope to stay again myself!

Wonderful Charlestown home-away-from-home!

I had an extended stay at this property (2 weeks) and it was wonderful every day. From the moment I got dropped off at the door, Cindy and Arthur made me feel welcome in their home and the neighborhood. All living areas are well stocked with whatever you could think of. The patio is an added bonus space and great for meals. This property is in a great spot to easily explore other areas of Boston, including East Boston, Cambridge, and the North End. Overall I highly recommend this property and hope to be back myself!

Bunker Hill apt

Cindy was absolutely wonderful. She greeted us at the door, offered to help with luggage, personally showed us everything in the apt, provided us info sheets on local services and restaurants, and answered all questions immediately. Apt was lovely, gave us privacy between bedroom and sitting areas which is helpful since we keep somewhat different schedules. There was construction outside but it never bothered us through closed windows. Metro stop was only about 5 min away which was stupendous. Lighting over kitchen table is dim at night. Cindy has supplied the apt with portable/rolling shopping cart. I can't say enough in praise of that. We've stayed at many rented spaces, with multiple family, and durations that warranted grocery shopping and had nothing but our limited ability to carry heavy bags! This was the one and only time the owner has facilitated shopping when no car is involved or otherwise needed. They also have a well made, full size couch, where many supply only the smaller size and/or questionable support. Thank you so much!

This is a delightful spacious ground floor apartment in the beautiful neighbourhood of Charlestown. Arthur and Cindy were perfect hosts, friendly and welcoming. Their communication was great and they kindly accommodated our difficulties after a stressful journey. The property is no more than 30 minute's walk from the major sights of Boston and public transport is also excellent. The historic Warren Tavern is 2 blocks and serves great food in an atmospheric surrounding. We would stay again without any hesitation. Thank you.
