Inside an elegant area, the apartment in Piazza Verbano 8 is located on the fifth floor, very bright and with a lift. The two bedrooms with balcony are equipped with air conditioning, wifi internet connection, a double bed, two single beds, an armchair bed and a mobile bed.
The building has an elegant communal garden with an illuminated fountain. Within walking distance there are places of historical interest such as the Coppedé district, Villa Ada and the catacombs of Santa Priscilla and Sant’Agnese.

At the reception the owner will provide in addition to information on the house also some kinds of ready to use (detergents and various).

Tourist tax 3.5 euros per person per night up to 10 days. Children under 10 years excluded.

Transportation:
From Termini station, take bus 92 and get off at the Sebino stop, 170 meters from Piazza Verbano.
The MB1 Sant'Agnese Annibaliano Metro stop is a 10-minute walk away.
Cost of taxi from Termini Station about 10 €.

This is a wonderful property located in an honest residential neighborhood with convenient access to the historic center. The pictures accurately represent the property. It is not over the top luxury, but is authentic and comfortable. Pietro is a wonderful, caring host who couldn’t be nicer. We loved our stay and hope to return soon.

The owners of the property really showed how much they knew about travel and making occupants comfortable. Besides being ready for us they had the shower gel ready and the shampoo. There was olive oil in the pantry and coffee ready for breakfast. These sorts of things make the difference.

Highly recommend

This is the place to stay if you want to live in a Roman neighborhood and easily access the tourist sites when you feel like it. Pietro and Mariarita are as conscientious as they can be. I loved staying at this property and highly recommend it.

Lovely apartment just outside of Rome center.

Spacious and light. Thank goodness for A/C in the bedrooms--Rome was hot! Everything worked well. Good location away from the fray. Owners were very nice.

Beautiful Apartment in the Perfect Location!!

My husband and two adult sons stayed here for a week celebrating my big birthday!! It is a lovely roomy apartment in a very safe area. Easy access to all attractions, we walked some days but the buses are close by if it’s too hot. Lots of good restaurants nearby when you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. Supermarkets very close. We absolutely loved staying here with its old world charm, especially loved the lift. Highly recommend!!

Great location and very nice apartment

The apartment is in a very posh area and was just so beautiful. Lots of room and the balcony was wonderful to view fireworks on New Years Eve. We were picked up by Andrea from Termini and he was very helpful and nice with checking us in. Excellent bus connections very close and Taxi stand just downstairs. Two ATMs are very close too. Just so glad we found this place and it made for a wonderful 5 day Rome visit!

Perfect retreat for a week in Rome

Great location with perfect connection to buses to the town center. Walking distance to villa Borghese and many shops and restaurants nearby. Elegant and well equipped appartement with great views and AC for hot days. The landlords were kind and helpful from the first contact to the departure. Our family of five have spent a wonderful time. Thank you!

We had a great vacation in Rome, and staying at Domus Costanza might have been the best part of it. There are great shops, restaurants and a metro and bus stop close by, and you avoid the crowds and bustle of the old city. The apartment itself is great, with air conditioning, a washing machine, and all the amenities you would want. It worked perfectly for our family of four. Pietro is a fantastic host. The tips that he left about local restaurants, transportation, etc. were very helpful. I highly recommend this property.

Rome Site Seeing & Ryder Cup

The apartment was amazing, very large, well equipped, very clean and really comfortable. Pietro was excellent in his hand over and nothing was too much for trouble for him. The location was ideal, with a lovely view onto the Piazza from both balconies. Access to buses into central Rome is only a very short walk away and there is a taxi rank on the Piazza. Plenty of supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants in close vicinity. We were at the apartment for 12 days and highly recommend it as a first class option for anyone visiting Rome, be it for just a few days or a few weeks.

Home away from home!

Domus Costanza was a magnificent home away from home for 2 months. Great location, very clean, close to all services, public transit and trains. Our hosts MariaRita and Pietro are most gracious, kind and very helpful. Upon arrival they greeted us, showed us how everything works, provided 2 set of keys and all the essentials including coffee and tea were offered. The home is also a short walk to markets, restaurants and Villa Borghesi and Villa Ada both wonderful open spaces. We will return to Domus Costanza and recommend it without hesitation. Thank you Pietro and MariaRita for your generous hospitality! Arrivedrci, alla prossima!

A True Roman Experience

From the moment we were greeted by Pietro and his lovely daughter, Angelina, we felt at home in this bright, large apartment. Spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen, clean shower (a must for me)! Lots of room for our two week stay with our teenage son who had his own room and bathroom (2 pce). We felt like we were living the true Roman life with the local cafes, restaurants and bakeries. The transit was right outside the door, so it made it easy to get to all the important Roman tourist spots. But was far enough away from them that we had a piece of Rome to ourselves. We enjoyed many evenings on the little balcony overlooking the square, watching the parking games below. All in all, we highly recommend staying here!!

Great safe area to stay in to visit Rome

This is a great place to stay in to visit Rome. The neighbourhood is safe, even late at night, has lots of little shops, bars, restaurants, little supermarkets and coffee shops. We bought lots of great local produce to cook with. It has good transport links into Rome with buses and the tube a few minutes walk away. The buses were a bit crowded and we ended up preferring to walk a couple of km to the Spanish Steps. It is good exercise to keep do the walking, if you are fit enough for it. The nearby parks of Villa Ada and Villa Borghese are great to relax and spend some time in. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. They gave us some little delicious treats like homemade jam! The transfer service to and from the airport was also very useful and convenient and much easier than arranging taxis.

Acceptable with 2 caveats!

Owner was very nice. Met us at the door and showed us everything and how it worked. Spacious apartment, good wifi, comfortable beds, nearby public transport was great. A true neighborhood place. Cons: Furniture could use updating. Heat only available from 6 PM - 10 PM but only when the building finally turns it on. (We were there in November). Strong smell of cigarette smoke from neighbor, especially in the kitchen. If you’re a smoker, it may not bother you. For non smokers, we wouldn’t stay here again because of the smell.

In out apartment, nobody has ever smoked. This person must have a sort of condition that make her somatize something else for smell of cigarettes. She will smell cigarettes wherever she goes, doesn't matter if nobody ever smoked in the apartment. The heating is central and from 24th November, it works from 12.00 to 22.00. The guest could have used also the air conditioning devices, that can also be used to warm up the air. I do not suggest anyone to rent his apartment to this person. She tends to be polemic and excessively, unreasonably demanding. Our excellent reviews talk clear.

This flat is beautiful, with large, light-filled rooms. Well equipped and impeccably maintained.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rome. The flat is excellent. It on a higher floor, serviced by a bird-cage style elevator. The building is one of four that face a round-about park, The inner courtyard is beautifully landscaped. The flat itself is huge, with large rooms, each with lovely views and great sunlight. All of the rooms were spotless. The kitchen was well equipped and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The neighborhood felt safe, with a nearby metro stop and very easy access to two buses which take you straight to the classic sights, such as the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and the Coliseum. There were some lovely restaurants nearby, including a cafe right next door. Yet, the primary reason we recommend this property is due to the personal care and attention provided by the owners. Such an enjoyable family. They were very accommodating to our needs, yet not over-bearing. Thank you for hosting us. Ciao!

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit guter Anbindung an den Nahverkehr

Wir hatten 7 wunderbare Tage in Rom mit milden Temperaturen um 22 Grad. Die Wohnung liegt nordöstlich vom Stadtzentrum in einer vergleichsweise ruhigen Wohngegend im 5. Stock eines schönen Altbaus. Wir haben uns zu fünft in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Gastgeber Pietro war immer ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein toller Feinkostladen sind direkt um die Ecke.

Beautiful apartment in a nice neighborhood.

Spacious and bright apartment in a lovely area with local restaurants and grocery stores. A piece of the genuine Rome. It’s easy to take the bus to the historic parts of Rome. The hosts are as lovely as the apartment, very welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderfull stay and I highly rekommend this accommodation!

Comfortable and airy in Roma

13 days on the Piazza Verbano were delightful. Easy living in a highly residential area, many nearby marketing choices and abundant restaurants in an upscale neighborhood outside of old walls. Old Liberty style buildings and Quartiere Coppede a few blocks away. Villa Ada 4 blocks up the side street. Many transportation choices including a taxi stand directly opposite apartment building on the Piazza.

Amazing views in a very functional apartment

We had the great fortune to spend a month at this lovely home. The views are wonderful: Villa Ada, Piazza Verbano, the Appennini mountains. Everything we needed was nearby, including several bus lines and the subway. Highly recommended!

Pietro e sig.ra Maria Rita, ci hanno messo affinché andasse tutto per il meglio. Loro sono persone squisite come poche e ne porteremo sempre un bellissimo ricordo. A parer nostro non esiste posto migliore dove trascorrere in famiglia un piacevole e tranquillo soggiorno nella Capitale. La casa è dotata di tutti i comfort oltre a situarsi in una zona centrale, servita e sicura. Grazie ancora di tutto.

L'ospite Dr.Criscuolo Davide (assieme al suo gruppo di neo -laureati) ha osservato tutte le regole della "Domus Costanza" e il regolamento condominiale.Anche la reciproca collaborazione ha determinato un'intesa lungo tutto il periodo della sua permanenza alla "Domus". L'appartamento è stato lasciato pulito e in perfetto stato- funzionale.Trattasi di un ospite che certamente avrei il piacere,ancora ,di ospitare.

Exceptionnel

Merci à Pietro et Maria Rita pour le accueil et leur gentillesse . L’appartement est très bien entretenu et nous avons apprécié le remplacement hebdomadaire des draps et des serviettes. Le quartier est calme, il y a de bons restos à proximité, le centre historique facilement accessible en bus.

Fantastic apartment!

I can not say enough good things about our stay here! The apartment is beautiful. Very spacious with high ceilings, lots of natural light and gorgeous views of the piazza. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming, offering tips on places to eat and visit both in the neighborhood and the city in general. The apartment is located in a nice residential neighborhood that is out of the chaos of the central tourist area but only a short bus or cab ride from all the main attractions. This was our first visit to Rome and this property helped make our dreams come true.
