The open concept, bright and airy great room on the main level has a wall of windows overlooking stunning views. Brand new, cozy furniture is arranged around a stone, wood burning fireplace and a large Smart TV. One corner holds a dining table with two benches on either side, and the opposite corner has a full kitchen with updated granite counters and stainless-steel appliances. Off the great room is a half bath with a laundry closet.

The large master suite on the main floor has a new premium King bed, 55” Smart TV, and a private full bathroom with double granite vanities and an oversized walk in closet. The main level fully gated deck has a picnic table, gas grill, as well as Adirondack rocking chairs and loungers to take in the mountainscapes.

Downstairs is a second living area and game room with a pool table, comfortable queen pull-out sofa and 75” TV with premium sound system and Bluetooth connectivity to enjoy your favorite shows, movies or music. There are two elegant, oversized King bedrooms with plenty of closet space and brand new Smart TVs. One of the bedrooms has a desk and monitor to set up your perfect work space. There is also a full updated bath with combination tub & shower, and the lower gated deck has a four-person hot tub as well as more seating to take in the views and watch deer grazing in the yard.

Aussies Lookout is perfectly located in a beautiful neighborhood, atop Appalachian Ski Mountain, straddling both Boone and Blowing Rock and close to every High Country attraction. Don't think twice - this house has everything you need and more and is sure to become your home away from home.

Additional Notes:
- This home is located at over 4200' elevation and enjoys heavy snowfall in winter months. Guests visiting November-April must come prepared with 4WD or AWD vehicles and may possibly need chains during winter months. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
- Aussies Lookout was formerly known as Aussies Den. It's the same great home and the same outstanding view!
- All BRMR homes offer well-stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25.00 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
