Paradise with donkeys and sunsets

A lovely secluded spot in the mountains but easily accessed gorgeous beaches, wonderful scenery and fabulous restaurants. A warm Sardinian welcome from the owners who also looked after the donkeys grazing in the paddock next door. Altogether a special place which I felt honoured to rest.

Tranquil stay with stunning views on the west coast of Sardinia.

The property is beautiful, extremely clean, well-organized and wee-appointed. The hosts were attentive and helpful. Quiet, tranquil, but close enough to Bosa and Alghero for convenience and activity. A short drive to the beach. Perfect trip!

"For those who prefer nature, wild life, silence, this is an excellent place to stay, with beautiful views and breathtaking sunsets. The house is clean and comfortable and easy to find. It has lovely garden with herbs, flowers etc. Great holiday, Teresa and Leonardo are nice people."

Peaceful Stay

The house was beautiful and clean. The views from the property could not be beat. Location was wonderful for exploration of the northern part of the island. Teresa and Leonardo were kind, friendly, and responsive. While we thought that there would be 2 bedrooms (according to the VRBO listing) and there was only one, space wasn’t an issue-plenty of room for two people.

Thank you so much for your review. We checked and actually there was an insertion error that gave the partially wrong message of 2 bedrooms. In fact, on request, the living room can become a bedroom with bathroom in the room, that's why the message "2 bedrooms" appeared on Vrbo. In any case, thanks to your report, we corrected this indication that could deceive. Thanks again and we hope to see you soon!

Amazing

My husband and me spend 3 nights in this wunderful apartment. We wished we could stay longer. Teresa, Leonardo and their son Alfredo are very nice people. When we arrived, they left us a welcome present - a beer, a sausage, cheese and crackers. The flat is clean, very nice furnished and the view is stunning. A perfect place to relax!!!

Peace and tranquility

We stayed in 'Chessa' - it had a well equipped and spotlessly clean kitchen, 2 excellent bathrooms each with a shower and an inside seating room with table and small sofa. The terrace was wonderful - and although a little chilly in the evenings we braved the weather and enjoyed the view and the tranquility. Only the sound of birds, sheep and the occasional donkey. Teresa and Leonardo were very welcoming and provided a range of Sardinian goodies for us. I would highly recommend this property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Phantastic view

First of all: the view is just breathtaking!! Overlooking the sea from above, towards west, so you have a sundown spectacle every evening! One of the best locations we´ve ever rented! Inside also very comfortable and charming - everything you need is there and everything new and excellent quality, not just "holiday-flat-style"! It is completely lonely, so you must love the solitude, we did! Only donkeys and sheep around, next village about 10 km away. Reality is even more beautiful than the pictures! Teresa and Leonardo are very friendly hosts, who welcomed us with some typical sardinian goodies! We loved this place and enjoed every minute there, thank you! Huberta and Joachim

The best! We have stayed...

The best! We have stayed in many places over the years, in many different countries. Our stay at PalaEntone was the best so far. Situated on a mountain slope at an altitude of 400 meters, the view of both the sea and the mountains was breathtaking. The house has all amenities, was very comfortable and very clean. The photographs on the site don't do it justice. Teresa and Leonardo had everything ready and made us feel very welcome. A local cheese was waiting in the fridge, as well as as a piece of salami and some great tasting, home-made "Mirto", a local myrtle-based liquor. A beautiful sand beach is only 7 minutes away and pretty cities like Alghero and Sassari are within short distance. It is a quiet place, in the middle of the Sardinian nature. We loved it.

Peaceful and relaxing, with Spectacular Sunsets.

The property is very pleasantly isolated. Feels like you own the World. Being about 1000 feet above the sea, with no obstructions, the views are expansive! Since you are looking west, the sunsets are terrific every night. The road up from the coast is good and well-maintained, despite the fact that it has almost no traffic. It's not difficult to drive into the village of Villanova Monteleone for groceries, etc. And driving into Alghero for meals and sight-seeing was easy. Must also mention our hosts: Teresa and Leonardo. They were very friendly and helpful, with suggestions about the area. Whenever they came to the property to do some chores, we always visited with them, and shared stories. Nice to consider them as friends.

Beautiful view & friendly hosts

We had a lovely stay at PalaEntone. The view is beautiful, we loved having meals out here and relaxing on the sun loungers. The only downside was that it wasn’t clear to us when booking that there are two rental properties within the same small building, so the terrace is essentially shared, parted only by a small fence, which didn’t feel as private and secluded as we would have liked. The property was well equipped, we could cook meals in the kitchen easily and having a beach parasol to take out with us was really helpful and thoughtful. The aircon really was a blessing in the heat too! It would be great if we could have checked in earlier than 5pm, especially as check out is as early as 10am but we worked around this and Teresa was very easily contactable. Overall we had a lovely stay but I think if we were to come back we would book Lantana instead so we could have our own space.

Regarding the check-in and check-out times, we understand that depending on the situation they may be inconvenient times, but we do this to guarantee you high standards of cleanliness, as the accommodations are cleaned from top to bottom and this requires long cleaning times so that you can find a clean and welcoming place. Es war ein Traum. Jeden Abend Sonnenuntergang. Alles sauber, tolle Küche mit Backofen, Grill im Garten, Klimaanlage, Waschmaschine, Sonnenschirm, Strandmatten, Bocchia.3 Esel, Wildschweinmutti mit 3 Frischlingen, 1 Fuchs, Katze. Unheimlich nette Vermieterin. Käse, Salami, Sekt und Wasser als Begrüßungsgeschenk.Allerdings kein Fernseher. Aber den braucht man da auch nicht.

Die Unterkunft war ganz zauberhaft und hat für uns (zwei Menschen) wunderbar gepasst. Die Menschen die die Wohnung vermieten sind super nett und ganz arg herzlich wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt! Wir sind hoch zufrieden und absolut begeistert von der Wohnung, sie hat alles was man braucht - uns hat nichts gefehlt, der Blick von der Terrasse ist herrlich, die Lage fantastisch - absolut ruhig und erholsam. Wir wurden ausserordentlich freundlich und herzlich empfangen, Teresa und Leonardo sind wunderbare Gastgeber, die sich sehr um unser Wohl bemüht haben. Auch die Tips die Teresa uns gegeben hat, z.B. die Ausstellung der sardischen Teppiche mit traditionellen Mustern und zugehörigen Webstühlen im Kulturzentrum von Villanova oder Ziele in der Umgebung, wo sind gute Brunnen für Quellwasser (trinkbar) usw. haben wir gerne angenommen. Man merkt, daß Urlauber wirklich willkommen sind auch daran, daß die Wohnung und das gesamte Grundstück sehr gepflegt und schön sind. Liebe Teresa und Leonardo, recht herzlichen Dank für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt in PalaEntone, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.Herzlichst Sabine und Toni

Erholung pur. Wir waren hier eine Woche und können die Unterkunft vorbehaltslos weiter empfehlen. Die Natur, die Ruhe und vor allem die Aussicht sind kaum zu toppen. Jeden Abend konnten wir einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang genießen. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war sehr gut und auch ein flexibler Check-in war möglich. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und die Ausstattung sehr umfangreich. Das Grundstück war sehr gepflegt. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell in Alghero oder Bosa. Teresa und Leonardo sind sehr nett und wir wurden mit einigen Leckerein begrüßt. Wir würden hier immer wieder buchen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Woche. Kerstin und Georg.

Sehr nette Vermieter, die uns mit sardischen Leckereien als Willkommensgeschenk begrüßt haben. Das Grundstück liegt auf einigen hundert Metern Höhe an einem Berg, mitten in unberührter Natur. Es ist ein ruhiger, sehr gepflegter Ort mit toller Aussicht auf‘s Meer und Sonnenuntergängen über dem Wasser. Mit dem Auto kann man relativ schnell die wunderschönen Städte Bosa und Alghero erreichen. Die Küste ist steil und das Meer ist von der Küstenstraße aus kaum zu erreichen. Es gibt in Richtung Alghero aber einen großen Sandstrand mit Parkmöglichkeiten, zu dem man mit dem Auto in ungefähr einer Viertelstunde fahren kann.

Pace e natura circondano questo appartamento che si trova in un Posto fantastico con vista su capo caccia e su tramonti meravigliosi. Leonardo e Teresa sempre disponibili ti coccolano dal benvenuto (prodotti locali) ad ogni esigenza, che siano dei Tupperware o indicazioni sulla zona. Consigliato per chi ama silenzio e tranquillità.

Wir sind immer noch total begeistert. Wir hatten leider nur fünf Tage in PalaEntone verbracht. Und wir wollten gar nicht mehr weg. Teresa ist eine fantastische Gastgeberin. Wir haben bereits im Vorfeld viele nützliche Infos bekommen. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben uns besser als zu Hause gefühlt. Die Anlage ist ein Traum. Die Sonnenuntergänge unbeschreiblich schön. Alghero und insbesondere Bosa am Abend werden uns immer in Erinnerung bleiben. Toller Strand gleich vor den Füßen (muss man ein kleines Stück fahren). Neptun-Grotte lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Wir kommen wieder, liebe Teresa, lieber Leonardo

Traumhafte Lage

Ein unglaublich toller Aufenthalt. Die Lage und die Aussicht des Grundstücks sind traumhaft. Vollkommene Ruhe, unglaublicher Sternenhimmel, tolles und liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus. Bestes Internet. Teresa und ihr Mann außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Her gibt es wirklich nichts zu bemängeln. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.
