Large Country Lodge with Beautiful Views

Perched atop a peaceful, forested ridge, Panorama Lodge is a comfortable, 7 bedroom log home with breathtaking views of Mt. Hood and the Hood River Valley. Look out to a verdant valley of pear, apple and cherry orchards.

Great place for retreats, sport teams, and reunions. Our lodge is outfitted for flexibility. We can sleep 18 - 21. A favorite lodging option for reunions, non-profit groups, bicycle teams. Ask for a floor plan.

Relax on our full-length deck with Mt Hood and the Hood River Valley laid out in front of you. Enjoy the serenade of birds, quail and wild turkeys. You'll enjoy the call of owls at night. Gather on our large deck with Mt. Hood at your feet. Play bocce ball on our newly completed court. Hike or bike some awesome nearby trails with great views. Enjoy the sunset with a warm fire close by.

Yet we're less than four miles from Hood River where shops, world-class restaurants, brew pubs, art galleries and theatre await.

IMPORTANT: WE ARE NOT A WEDDING VENUE! Our site is not suitable to host weddings! We are in a great neighborhood of families on 3 to 5 acre parcels. Loud noise carries throughout this area. Be considerate of our neighbors. Please, no outdoor music or other noisy outdoor activities past 10 pm. Thank you

Mountain bike and hiking trails are just up the road and windsurfing and kite sailing are only three miles away. Ask about trails, must-see places and view spots. Lots of local information.

The entry has a set of stairs, as well as a paved entry ramp.

We are just 33 miles to Mt. Hood Meadows ski area. Government Camp skiing is about 45 miles south around the mountain from us.

Enjoy life in the country with family, friends or team members. 7 bedrooms, 4 baths. The Lodge makes a perfect location for reunions, celebrations, retreats and team lodging. With a well stocked kitchen and barbecue grill you can prepare a feast.

RETREATS, REUNIONS, SPORTS LODGING, SEMINARS: We have many of the amenities necessary for summer and winter retreats. Bicycle and sports teams are drawn to our lodge because of our proximity to popular biking areas. All king beds are convertible to long twin beds. Our Lodge can sleep up to 18 singles in separate beds.

Absolutely spectacular views

The pics don’t do the Panaroma Lodge justice. Just breathtaking views. The lodge itself is also well equipped and tons of character. We had a large family reunion (20 people total) and had an incredible time.

My guests reported hearing rodents of some sort in their bedroom walls.Also, a rodent of some sort ate some banana and flowers from our table.EXTERMINATION needed...The owner visited as a welcome to us, but then 3 more visits, she even just walked in!This is unacceptable..Countertops, tabletops, floors were dirty...bathtub had hairs in it...kitchen drawers fell down when opened..used food in the fridge and cupboards, who knows where this food came from or who touched the food?VRBO should work with the owner to review and repair these issues...We reported all this to the owner, not sure what she will do?She is still renting this property out...

A group of 8 of us thoroughly enjoyed this huge house. The outdoor firepit on the deck was great on chilly evenings, & there was plenty of space for all of us.The location was wonderful, with views that made just sitting & hanging out enjoyable. Lots of privacy, with a very long driveway perfect for walking our dogs.This is big, funky, & very comfortable house. Nothing too precious, & we all felt very relaxed here. Can't imagine anything this place doesn't have, that you'd ever need.

The lodge reminded me of childhood visits to relatives' cabins. It has a stunning view of Mt. Hood and the valley, as pictured. The kitchen was well-stocked for large groups and our group of 11 was well accommodated by the dining space, living room and outdoor space and we enjoyed the fire pit on the porch. Linda was extremely responsive, and I'm sorry that during our busy stay I didn't get a chance to meet her but my son said was great when he met her at arrival.The downsides were saggy mattresses and couches, a septic odor in the back basement bedroom and evidence of a mouse on our last day, which given the location, must be a constant battle.We all had a great time, and would consider staying here again.

Linda’s lodge was perfect for a reunion of 12 old friends. The lodge has absolutely any cooking implement you might need so it’s great for group meals.

Linda’s place was incredible! We stayed here for my wedding weekend with my whole bridal party and it was the PERFECT homebase for our large group. The house is so unique, and we loved watching the hummingbirds and view of mount hood from the patio. Linda was also a lovely host and I loved chatting with her. Will definitely be back for our anniversary !!

We had to call Linda when the hot water heater alarm went off. She came over and took care of the issue and accommodated our request for a change of sheets since we had someone else coming to stay at one of the bedrooms after our daughter and her husband left.View was really nice

Outstanding in every way! The perfect house and setting for my husband’s birthday and family reunion. Wonderful living spaces to gather inside and out, our group of 18 never felt crowded or on top of each other. House well located among beautiful fir trees with a breathtaking view of Mt Hood and orchards. The host provides a wonderful experience for groups and is responsive to all questions and needs. The beds are comfortable and the checkout simple and easy. A great experience - we would love to return!

We love this place! First visit was in the winter when there was no view and just a gloomy day, and a few things felt a little dated, but it still seemed like our best option to host our wedding party in the summer so we booked it. We stayed in August, the views were amazing, everyone had ample room, and it was just the perfect spot to enjoy coffee or a beer on the deck while soaking in the view with friends. Anything that seemed dated on that initial winter visit just added charm and character when we actually stayed.

Amazing cabin!

Linda’s cabin was absolutely perfect! It was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of room for our wedding party to stay. Linda was incredibly accommodating and responsive throughout our stay. The view of Mount Hood from the deck is truly breathtaking and made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommend!

PERFECT for our needs!

Great location for our daughter's wedding at Crag Rat Hut down the hill. The view was fantastic. The access was a bit rough terrain as we had a guest with a broken foot with us. Lots of steep steps with the three levels.Decor was a bit unusual with many different hats on the ceiling...but unique! Home has thin walls but NUMEROUS rooms that accommodated all of our needs. Overall, an aged house but maintained. Our host was wonderful and communication was superb. Would definitely stay here again if I were in Hood River with a big group....no question! Thank you, Linda!

A view with space to spread out.

If you need a place to kick back for you and 400 friends, this is it. Okay, maybe not 400, but ai have no doubt 30 people could stay at this lodge comfortably.And the view from the patio almost made us cancel plans to go brewery hoping down in Hood River.There were 11 folks in my group, and we never came close to running out of hot water, or dishes.If you have a family reunion or group of friends who arent worried about being able to walk everywhere in Hood River, but would rather drive through the orchards and wineries, this is a great property.
