I AM FLEXIBLE WITH CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES IF I DONT HAVE BACK TO BACK BOOKINGS.
I use this Condo when I want to spend time in Waikiki so I want it nice! Great location away from the hustle and bustle of people, cars and buses. Well almost, it is Waikiki after all! Located on Lemon Road, a quiet one way street one street mauka (towards the mountains) from Kalakaua and Waikiki Beach. Lemon Road is just one block long so doesn't get much noisy buses!

One block from the beach, Kapiolani park, the zoo, the aquarium and Waikiki Shell (for concerts). Secure building with entry fob that only allows residents to access their floor from the elevator. Only six apartments per floor.
Address is 2572 Lemon Road, #905
Coin laundry located in parking area. And yes, there is a parking stall assigned specifically for this Condo and it is FREE with the rental. Free parking is a rarity in Waikiki!

No smoking allowed. This condo doesn't have a private lanai however there is small lanai on 9th floor with beautiful blue Pacific Views where you can enjoy the ocean view or read.

Since I mail keys to the guest before their stay, I can’t rent to guests who do not have a US postal address.

This condo at Tradewinds Plaza feels like a HOME away from HOME and not like a hotel.

The room was clean and had everything I needed. The location is excellent, with a 3-5 minute walk to the beach. Everything was close by.

Pros- designated parking: This was my main priority as I was renting a car and did not want to worry about parking. There’s a designated spot provided behind the gate which was convenient and felt safe- Extra beach towels, googles, snorkels, etc provided which I find really nice especially if you plan on going to the beach multiple times and want a fresh towel. Snacks were also left by the host which was nice - Good water pressure - One block away from the beach and many shops and restaurants. - The host was very responsive. I had issues locating the laundry room and she was quick to help Cons- upon arrival, my key fob wasn’t working. The bnb is located on a one way street with a steep decline so it was impossible for me to move or back up with another car behind me. Luckily the property managers happened to be the ones to pull up behind me and let me into the gate as well as get me a working key fob. - this room is located between two hostels which would get pretty loud at night. It does not help that the windows are jalousie windows and does not keep all the sound out, so it can feel like you’re right outside and can hear everything. - although there is a AC unit in the room, the host required that it be turned off when you leave. Hawaii is very hot. So after a long day in the sun, it would have been nice to come back to an air conditioned room. Even on the max setting, it doesn’t make the room very cool and it’s very loud.

Perfect spot

It was perfect. Very spacious, clean, secured parking and building and located close to beach but not in the middle of Waikiki. Would definitely stay there when I come back.

Waikiki Stay

The property is located at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki.Safeway store is located on Kapahulu just a mile away from the condo. Down to Earth Natural Foods on King street was a close drive too. As advertised we were able to walk across the street and be in Kapiolani Park. Near the zoo and the aquarium and a short walk to Kaimana Beach which was our go to beach. It was really good to be able to take a walk and get to the beach without driving. Mahalo Gina

Great Vacation Location

Very secure, clean property. Nice owner. Parking a plus. Beach around the corner. Lots of shopping, restaurants and park/zoo across the street.

Exactly What We Were Looking For

Gina is an excellent host with great communication. The unit is clean and adorable, and surprisingly well stocked: salt, pepper, olive oil, condiments, hot plate, rice cooker, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and even nail polish remover. Would definitely recommend! Surfboard lockers were a bonus.

All good

I am not a guy who complains a lot. Location was good, host was good and good communication with her, neighborhood was good, property manager and tenants were good. There was just one thing I should pay attention to and that is washer and dryer. Nobody's fault from mentioning above, just third party, who installed paying units on w/d. I had a problem to wash my clothes day before we were leaving, because the paying units were not working. Ended up to wash it by hands in my bathtub. Next day, before our flight back, the maintenance guy helped me out and was able to turn the dryer on, so all was good. I will certainly return to this place and to this host.

Like Staying at a Relative's Fully Beach Ready Home

Wow, great property and super location! Where do I start...comfy bed and pillows, AC unit kept us cool, a kitchenette to cook just about anything you like, beach chairs & umbrella, beach towels, snorkel gear, 2 sizes of coolers and much more. A stocked medicine cabinet to help with anything you forgot aloe gel if you get too much sun. The building and parking is secured so no worries. Only a half block from the beach makes nightly sunset viewing easy. I would be remiss if I didn't say the room was small, but who spends that much time in any room while visiting Hawaii! It was perfect for us!

Oahu Vacation 2025

It was a great place for me (traveling alone) to stay. It was right by the beach--an easy walk to get to the beach. I also liked the private parking lot. Overall, Gina was a great host, had everything I needed.

Perfect Waikiki Stay for do-ers

Perfect spot for us as we planned to spend as little time as possible indoors. All amenities were clean, and enough more for what we expected/needed. Included parking is 100% worth it too! Loved that it was walking distance to everything in Waikiki, yet quiet at night. Check-in/check-out were very easy too. Mahalo!

Fantastic Waikiki Condo with Parking space included!

We stayed at Tradewinds Plaza last year and had such a positive experience, we decided to book there again and it did not disappoint! We visit Oahu often and have stayed in many different hotels and condos throughout the years. We appreciate that this is a secure building, with a designated parking space. The condo is stocked with beach chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, snorkels, literally everything needed to enjoy playing at the beach, which is just a short block away. The kitchen is also stocked with everything needed to cook full meals and has a full-size fridge. There is no view of the ocean and there can be some late night and early morning street noise, but the benefits of this location outweigh any negatives. We highly recommend this condo.

Perfect perfect perfect!

We were greeted warmly by Tina and she explained everything we needed to get in and out of the property. We lived in Hawaii for a few years so I knew how valuable a place with a parking spot is and it was perfect. Literally a block away from the Waikiki strip. We walked literally one block to watch the sunset every night. The apartment is super cozy and has everything you need for a beach stay. We didn’t need to buy any gear, it’s fully stocked with goggles, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, towels and much more! The kitchen has everything you need and she leaves you some yummy treats to welcome you. 5 stars all the way. I love the beach vibe of the room and the bed was super comfortable! We will definitely be back!!

Best Host ever

The property was very comfortable. Excellent bed! Many supplies in the bathroom (shampoo, sun screen, etc.) Close to beach, stores, restaurants, etc. Book "lending library" in basement (by elevator.) Lots of "beach stuff" in closet.

Location and Parking

This is an excellent property if you plan on getting a car, if you'd like to be within 1 block of the beach, and if you plan on spending most of your time exploring - and the rates are good. Comfortable and clean unit. Enough amenities and equipment in the unit which is nice. The shower pressure is good, the sinks all drain rapidly. The ac unit does the job! Kitchenette is stocked. I did not have to use the laundry facilities but i heard there is something on property. Very quiet and conveniently located on the east side of the building on a higher floor. I will definitely try to stay here again.

Seaside Nest

Finding an affordable place to stay in Waikiki is a challenge. This place not only met my financial requirements, it was clean, cheerful, and well-stocked (including a portable cooktop, electric tea kettle, wine glasses, picnic gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels), the host was communicative, and the location is excellent. I only rented a car for a few days of my stay, but the assigned parking spot was included and easy to access. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect for our needs

It was exactly what we were looking for: good, safe location away from Waikiki traffic, easy to get in and out of area, still walking distance to Waikiki attractions and great parking space. It is not overly spacious, it is between two hostels, and the shower is a little tight. For us, these things were irrelevant, but if you pay attention to the description of the property, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Gina and Tina for a great stay. We will try to get this place again the next time we go to Honolulu.

I like to boogie board at the wall, just 1/2 block away where no surfboards are allowed. The location of this condo is terrific because it has easy access off of the freeway and down Kapahulu. You don't have to go into the heart of Waikiki with all the traffic to get to it.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The condo feels like a home and not a hotel. It is a fairly small building with some full time occupants. I hardly ever see anyone on the elevator. The building is well maintained and Lemon Road is a small one lane street with no city bus noise!
