CASA DEL CARUGIO A few steps from the sea, in the middle of historic center

Located right in the historic center, just 150 meters from the beach, the flat consists of two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed, a lounge / kitchen with double sofa bed and the bathroom. It is located in a side street that runs along the main street (Via Roma) on the second floor of the building and can be accessed by climbing two flights of stairs not suitable for people with walking problems.
Starting from my flat, after less than 150 meters, you get to Tragagià beach, in front of the boarding of the boats for other 5 TERRE villages and Portovenere. On the right, after a short light ascent, you can go through a 100-meter tunnel that separates the historic center from the new part of the city. Than you'll be on the promenade: continuing on the waterfront after 300 meters you arrive at the railway station: the maximum distance between the new and the oldest part of Monterosso is one kilometer, less than a quarter of an hour's walk, so the whole village can be, from one end to the other, walked comfortably on foot.
For those who need it, a taxi service and a bus service are available. The other villages of 5 TERRE can be easily reached by train or by boat service. For those arriving by car there are two parking lots, one before entering the old town about 150 meters from my apartment, the other in the new area of Monterosso about 700 meters from my apartment. The train station is located in the central part of the promenade behind which develops the new part of Monterosso, about 600 meters from my apartment (ten minutes walk).
