Beautiful, Extensively Upgraded Oceanfront Condo In Kihei

Beautiful extensively upgraded 2-bedroom/2-bathroom unit (sleeps 5). Beachfront with ocean views in a great location in the building! The master bedroom has a king bed with full ocean views. The guest bedroom has a queen and twin bed. There is a split (A/C) System with each room having its own temperature control. Kitchen opens up to living room and fantastic views. It has beautiful bamboo cabinets with pull out drawers & granite tops, stainless steel microwave and dishwasher. It is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils, coffee maker, blender, and wonderful spices for cooking. Ample fresh linens are provided as well as a hair dryer and also a washer and dryer in the unit. We furnish beach chairs, and beach towels for your convenience.

There is beautiful tile throughout entire unit and lanai. The lanai has ocean views and a table that seats four and is great place to have dinner, enjoy a tropical drink and feel the cool ocean breeze.

Menehune Shores has fantastic grounds with manicured lawns, a beautiful oceanfront (solar heated) pool, shuffle board court, 2 sets of elevators, and easy access to the beach areas. There is a protected enclosed ocean area in front of the pool and small parks on each side of the complex, a great place for kids to play. There is a beautiful coral reef just in front of the complex, great for snorkeling. We also have Weber Gas grills and tables next to the pool and ocean.

There is also a unique roof-top BBQ area with Weber gas grills, picnic tables, and seating. There are panoramic Haleakala and ocean views where the islands of Lana'i, Molokini, Moloka'i and Kaho'olawe can be seen. This is a perfect place to watch whales in winter & spectacular sunsets year-round. This is also a great place to meet your neighbors from around the world.

These attractive units are located in Kihei on the dry, leeward, sunny side of Maui. You can enjoy excellent snorkeling, swimming, scuba diving and fishing. You'll be centrally located for a variety of beaches, golf courses, tennis courts and the shopping and dining areas of Kihei, Wailea , Kahului, Lahaina and Kaanapali.

Use our condominium as the starting point of exciting trips to Haleakala Crater, Iao Valley and its famous Needle, or heavenly Hana with its waterfalls and seven pools. Only minutes to the many beautiful beaches in Kihei, Wailea and Makena. Or just stay close to the condo and enjoy it's many amenities. Enjoy yourself in Maui for year round vacationing.

We had a great stay! We loved the ocean view, and enjoyed all the amenities in the apartment and on the property. Location was also convenient to everything we needed, and checking in and out was easy. Hope to visit again!

Great location and amenities in both the condo and onsite. Views are amazing from the main bedroom and living space! However we found it slightly uncomfortable sitting outside at the table on the lanai due to the AC units noise and blowing warm air on you the whole time. Other than that, no complaints at all. Close and conveniently located to everything Kihei.

Great place to stay in Kīhei. Less than a mile from snorkel rental, coffee shop and restaurants. Safeway close by. Beautiful quiet sandy beach in front of condo. Saw turtles from the beach. Within a couple miles of other beautiful beaches and food trucks. Condos a little older but well maintained. Indian restaurant onsite with friendly bartenders. Beautiful view on lanai. We spent six nights here and appreciated the location for access to the rest of the island. Owner let us check out a little later which is always appreciated. Really enjoyed our time here.

Our family rented multiple units at Menehune for our 40th Anniversary. We mainly cooked at ours so it was great that it was so well stocked, we weren’t missing anything. Any problems we had were addressed quickly by management. It’s a great location with beach access and the kids loved seeing so many turtles.

Great Stay!!

We enjoyed the communication and easy directions for the check in and check out. Great communication on information for the property. Location is great right on the beach. Property has very good spots for bbqing, watching sunset, enjoying pool, the beach and shuffle board. The unit was clean and comes with everything needed to enjoy days in Maui. Will be back!

Wonderful Family Trip

Our condo had everything we needed and a beautiful view! Our family of 11 (two other condos rented) was able to get together for Thanksgiving and enjoy special family time! We enjoyed our time in Kihei very much! We would love to come back!

The property is beautiful. The condo has great views and is decorated beautifully. The pictures on vrbo do not do this place justice. It is much more beautiful in person. I HIGHLY recommend a stay here

Beautiful view

Loved the easy beach access, view, quietness, well equipped kitchen!!!! The thermostat in primary bedroom may not be working properly or I just didn’t know how to use it. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!! So wonderful to have chairs and umbrellas to use as well!!!

Great place

Great place. Everything was smooth. The home was clean and very accommodating. The condo and property is quiet. The only downfall was the beach is not great. We went to different beaches nearby. But that wasn't a deal breaker as the condo was great, no complaints!

Maui Vacation

This condo had everything we needed right down to spices. The beds were very comfortable. Beach chairs, towels and coolers were definitely a plus. Owner was very responsive with our questions as was the management company. The only downside was not being able to sit on the deck when the A/C was running as it was too hot due to the condenser unit being located on the deck. We would definitely recommend this unit for your vacation stay.

Amazing VRBO

We actually stayed in another unit in Meheune Shores and our adult daughter and family stayed in this unit. She was over the moon with the unit, clean, quiet, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and a kitchen with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Next time, she can stay elsewhere, I will stay in this unit!!

Maui Family Trip

The condo was great. More than enough room for a family of 5. Comfy beds with plenty of pillows. There was a lot of seating both inside the condo and outside. The view was beautiful and the grounds were very well taken care of. The air conditioning was very nice to have. There are coolers, beach chairs, and beach towels to use during your visit. The kitchen comes with many amenities. We would definitely stay here again.

Very updated Condo in a good location

The condo was exactly as pictures and very updated. The view off the balcony was nice, but is hot if the A/C is on inside. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice having a double and twin in the 2nd bedroom for my adult boys. There were beach chairs, coolers, beach towels etc. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. The location is Centrally located so easy to get to Kaanapali (40 mins), Wailea (10 mins), Airport & Grocery shopping area like Walmart/Target/Costco (10-15 mins). The swimming area in front of the condo has a lava rock breaker so the water is warm and shallow. We saw 6 sea turtles on the rocks one day and on the beach. We would stay here again. Thank you!!

Beautiful condo

We so enjoyed our vacation in Maui and the condo was everything we wanted. It was well equipped and comfortable and all correspondence with the owners was timely. We fell in love with Maui and the location of this condo was amazing. We were able to have this place as our base and explore the island. The place was lovely and comfortable and we enjoyed having the pool and beach right there. I would definitely recommend this condo and hope to come back. Thanks for being a big part of making a dream come true 🙏❤️

Choose this Condo

I did a lot of research before booking this condo and this place really delivered. It was the perfect place to stay in Maui. Easy check in and the furnishings were everything we needed for the week. Communication was excellent and the beds were so comfortable. The view was amazing from the lanai. Seeing the turtles come up and lay on the beach every day was so fun to see. The little beach was so nice and was never crowded. The condo was so nice to have laundry machines in it and air. We needed the air during the wildfires one night. Conveniently located to everything in Maui. This place is a gem.

Great location, great view, great condo

We stayed 9 days in this Condo. It is a comfortable, tastefully decorated, upgraded unit, The kitchen is well stocked, and there are beach chairs, towels and an umbrella. It is a great central location for Maui, making it easy to get to all attractions on the island. It has a great view of the ocean and is easy to walk along the beach. While we were there, the ocean area in front of the property was only used for wading, but there were often people in the water relaxing and enjoying it. We have one warning. It is right on S. Kihei Road. One bedroom faces the ocean and the other faces the parking lot and road. There is some traffic noise. Except for early morning and evening, we used the air conditioning instead of open windows while we were there. The traffic noise did not bother our sleep or time together in the condo.

The extras that you can’t see in the photos

Some units we have stayed used the cheapest appliances and furniture. From the quantity Serra mattress to a dishwasher so quiet we could sit around the large round dining table and enjoy conversation while the dinner dishes were cleaned. As an early morning person the anti-slam cabinets kept me from waking those who wanted to sleep in. The owner was accessible, friendly and helpful. Best condo for the price. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Our trip was cancelled because of the FIRE'S and this host was non-responsive.

Our trip was cancelled because of the Maui fires and this host wouldn't refund us. Poor taste and frankly pretty sad. If you are booking this property make sure you insure your purchase because the host wont give you your money back even if the island is burning down and thousands of tourists are being evacuated, he'll email you and say just come it will be fine.

Family of 5

Spent 12 days with my family in this Menehune Shores apartment. The pros: apartment was fully stocked with everything you would need (cooking to beach days), comfortable sleeping arrangements for 5, cold AC, beautiful views, good wifi. Great communication with property management. Con: the lanai was unusable with the AC running, it was blowing hot air and loud. If it wasn’t so hot, we would’ve turned the AC off however, that wasn’t an option. The side of the building the apartment is on doesn’t get a lot of wind so it was just stagnant. However there is access to the roof and we loved spending time up there. It was nice exploring the South of Maui as we normally always stay up West. Great restaurants in Kihei and welcoming aloha throughout the island for our stay.

Wonderful condo but inaccurate description of amenities

We stayed for 12 days and everything was just as described EXCEPT the pool. We specifically selected the condo because it had a solar heated pool and beach right there. Our 3 kids (ages 3-8) could not have been more excited except the pool was freezing and unusable - literally ice cold. When checking in with the management office we were informed the pool heater had been broken for 6+ months and they had to ETA on when it might be fixed. This was very disappointing as it was one of the main reasons we selected the condo. I messaged Wade but didn’t receive a response. I do believe we should have been notified about the pool since “solar heated” was included on the listing. We made the most of it but that was a major let down considering the length of our stay.

Great place, great view

Great property, we really enjoyed it. Very clean place, great views, great beach access. My only two negatives are that check in is not available after hours or on weekends, but not a huge deal because the parking pass we required was in our room. Also, the code to the room was available in a previous email. The real complaint was the elevator. It is supposed to be on back up batteries in case of a power outage (there is a sign in the elevator). It is not. During a storm, I was stuck for over an hour in the elevator.

Thanksgiving week

We enjoyed every minute at this beautiful Maui location. Perfectly stocked kitchen for our Thanksgiving meal. Great proximity to golf, restaurants & of course the beach! Do not underestimate this location if you are looking for restful beauty with the green sea turtles steps away during morning feedings! The humpback whale center is to the right when facing the beach & the native Hawaiian fish pond enclosure bring the turtles to breakfast daily. You can easily access the adjacent beaches by foot. We enjoyed our week and hope to return.

I've stayed in a lot of places in Kihei over the years but the view from this condo is one of the best I've seen. The condo itself is great and a/c in each room was a must but I definitely bought it for the view!
