Gamagewatta House Old colonial house for a peaceful stay in Unawatuna

This house is located in the small village of Maharamba, Unawatuna in Galle. Its home to three bed rooms, three bathrooms, breezy living verandah, dining space and a fully equipped kitchen. This recently renovated house is about hundred years old features genuine antiques blends with a contemporary interior design with titanium white cement floors.

Two bed rooms with en suite bathrooms, each comes with a solar hot water rain shower. The bedrooms are comprised of antique four poster beds and ceiling fans. The main door opens to a lush green view and morning sun rays come dashing into the house giving a fresh start for the day.
It also has an attic with soft background lighting from modern fittings augmented by well-placed lamps. The pantry includes a refrigerator, a four burner cooker, microwave, rice cooker, wash sink and a dining table.

The house is equipped with security cameras, broadband wifi, a TV, DVD player and a washing machine.

The natural setting around the house regularly attracts various birds adding to a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
