Large stone property that was built circa 1870. Situated in the heart of the village. This apartment was always the local village shop right up until 2002 and then converted to living space. The living room, main bedroom and bathroom are all spacious with high ceilings. The fully equipped kitchen with direct garden access and second bedroom are at the back of the property. Recently renovated in an 'Industrial Style' that we hope our guests find unusual but at the same time with a modern twist. The apartment is clean and very comfortable. We live in the apartment upstairs so will be at hand to help with any issues or general questions during your stay . It is Self-Checkin, so although we shall check that everything is Ok for you, we will always respect your privacy and not come knocking your door imposing ourselves on you. We are friendly so should we meet you in the garden for instance we shall say hello and have a chat :)

Tongwynlais really is a perfect location to explore Cardiff & South Wales. It is a semi rural village on the banks of the River Taff just 5 miles from Cardiff City Centre, No other village in South East Wales could boast that it has a Castle, a Forest, a River, a Mountain, a Canal and Cycling Routes ..
