La Porcherie is a pretty cottage enjoying a peaceful location on our small complex of two cottages. It has it's own private garden and dining terrace but also enjoys a large shared garden with slide, swings, trampoline and a large fully enclosed swimming pool. The other property also shares the large garden and pool but has it's own private terrace and garden area too so you can enjoy your own privacy or meet the other family staying at Chauffour. There are walks and cycle routes on the doorstep and the villages of Allemans and St. Severin are only 3kms away offering a bank, bakers, bars and restaurants and a supermarket. It is a very beautiful part of the Dordogne with lots to do nearby - canoeing, tree walking and local sandy beaches at the nearby river at Aubeterre and at Lake Jemaye. The river Dronne is also only a km away and is fun for kids to paddle in a small stream and swimming for adults in the river.
We can offer a meal for your arrival and during your stay if required and subject to our availability - the meal is freshly prepared for you to heat up as and when you would like to eat but saves all that preparation.
