Situated in a beautiful corner of the Vienne region, Chateau Mareuil is a bijoux ancient chateau which dates back to the 15th century.

The castle itself is flanked by picturesque outbuildings, a Donjon and a pretty gite. There is also a newly refurbished cottage on site which sleeps up to 6 and a recently renovated studio apartment (sleeps 2) - see separate rentals. Chateau Mareuil is set in luscious gardens with an abundance of fruit and flowers and has it's own private river frontage.

Relax in your beautiful suite, the elegant and comfortable salon, on the terrace, in the "sky" garden, take a dip in the elegant pool or take a stroll along the private river!

At Chateau Mareuil, we are focused on providing luxury accommodation and delicious food with the highest levels of customer satisfaction – we will do everything we can to meet your expectations.

We have created 3 charming guest suites in the Chateau itself. The Princess Suite sleeps up to 6 with a beautiful contemporary bathroom of the highest standard. The Prince Suite sleeps 3 and boasts a designer bathroom created by artisan craftsmen - this Suite is very suitable for honeymooners! The Petite Princess is a pretty family room at ground floor level with 2 double beds (sleeps 4) with an adjacent shower room. We have recently completed a Bar/Games room with pool table in the former Chapel which is available to you during your stay. A recently constructed luxury 12m x 6m swimming pool is at our guests' disposal.

Your hosts Lee & Belinda also offer delicious evening meals to order, 4 courses including wine for 39 Euros per head.

Chateau Mareuil provides an idyllic, romantic environment for your wedding. We can offer on- site accommodation for the bride and groom and immediate family, up to 20 guests can be accommodated in total.
