Kentucky Lakefront House with Boat Dock

This is a well maintain waterfront home with exceptional views. The property has its own dock, and the launch ramp is very near the dock in the marina. The boat dock interior is 24ft x 10ft. Both the house and dock are at Moors Marina.
The kitchen is recently updated with a new gas stove and a dishwasher.
The property is tranquil and beautiful with big trees and wildlife. The yard is perfect for hanging out around the fire pit and watching boats come and go. The kids will love the cedar playhouse and swing set, the huge yard or heading down to the beach. The house is walking distance from a bar and restaurant. The house has 2 queen size beds and an extra bunk bed.

Overall, beautiful view of the lake and loved the location towards Moors! The morning and evening views were perfect! The dock was a bit far out compared to the photos, so we did not visit the dock as often as we would liked too!

We had a Wonderful time while staying at the lake with our dog and boat , but didn't realize by the pictures on VRBO that the covered dock was so far away from the house . We ended up renting a boat slip from the Moors Resort next door .The house was very well supplied . The house was very clean inside , but spider webs and leaves made it seem uncomfortable .The house definitely could use a battery operated leaf blower . I had to sweep leaves and spider webs everyday . They should also spray for spider's outside . Overall everything was good though . The house inside was very clean .

Absolutely beautiful lake house. Lake life at its best! Stayed 6 nights, brought our dog, kids loved it. Boat dock close by for the boat and kayaks. Fishing was good, caught mostly bluegill. Would recommend renting golf cart in the area. That helped us get around alot easier. The house had everything we needed, would definitely rent again!

Breathe

It was wonderful, like a home away from home. It was clean, roomy, and quiet. There was a sunroom on the back, and it offered a quiet place for me to pray and read my Bible. I could see the river and dock area from there. It had most everything my husband and me needed, making for a pleasant stay. The lake was close enough to walk to when we wanted to fish. We had a relaxing time and would definitely go back.

Views and location

You can’t beat the location and views of this property. A very short distance from Moors Marina. A mostly flat walk to the dock. Ralph’s Haborview Grill was terrific for supper and had great drinks. Inside the home was well equipped and comfortable. The only “cleanliness” issue I could tell after reading other reviews was outside only. No big deal. The view is all you should be looking at.

Nice

We checked in on a Friday and checked out on Monday. It was a nice getaway for a few days. The owner responds quickly to any questions u have. The only bad thing was the walk to the boat dock when it’s 90 something degrees out. It’s not that far of a walk but when it’s hot it’s not fun. Overall it was a very nice and clean place.

Unkept outdoor/rude host

This property had the potential for a lovely stay if not for the unkept outdoor space & rudeness of the host. The 1st day of our stay I spent 3 hours cleaning the outdoor patio area & windows of the sunporch of caked on cobwebs, spiders & filth because I could not foresee being able to enjoy our time there amongst that environment. The indoor space was very clean & neat, but the outdoor space verged on looking abandoned. I communicated this w/the host & asked that she consider waiving the cleaning fee because of this, all she said was she would have her cleaning lady come take a look (which never happened) We then went down to the dock where we found the dock to be in the same condition, covered in tree limbs, cobwebs & spiders. I understand the elements of weather, but it was clear there had been absolutely no attempt of outdoor maintenance being all the surrounding houses & docks were very clean & pristine. Although this was all unfortunate, I would have not left a review about it if not for the attitude of the host. We were literally a few minutes late checking out because we had car trouble in the driveway & she sent us a message reminding us of check out even though the cleaning lady was able to enter at 10 am. She accused me of not telling her about our dog, when I made reference to him in every message. She continued to argue back & forth & try to deflect rather than a simple apology. She made the stay unenjoyable. At it was now clean for the next guest thanks to me.

Weekend getaway!

Loved the view of the lake and it was great being able to leave our boat at the boat dock. We found it best to back the boat into the property since there isn’t much room to turn your trailer around. The pictures are accurate of this lake house and it’s in a safe/nice neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay.

Pictures inaccurate

Great location. Nice host. Unfortunately, patio and house were covered with mildew, spiders and spider webs to the point we couldn’t even use outside patio. Grass was overgrown, dock covered with limbs, trash. It’s obvious time and effort has put into the inside, but outside was very neglected.

Location and View

Comfortable and clean with a beautiful view. It is just steps away from the marina and restaurant. Owner is very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

Great location!

Our family of 4 was very comfortable for our 3 night stay. Clean, updated interior, and the view of the lake, especially at sunrise, is incredible. Conveniently located near to the Moors marina. Katy was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. I highly recommend!

Great location and water access

First the good, this is a great location. Use of the boat doc is a big bonus. House is spacious, stays surprisingly cool even though AC is window units. All in all a good choice. I had a bit of a back and forth with the owner/property manager about the details of the rental agreement. I would make sure you read it carefully and get clarity on what to expect. We were charged a $100 utility fee for a large dinner party, an amount which was announced and charged after the rental was completed, not in the rental agreement.

Little piece of paradise

We had such a great time staying here. The location is beautiful and close to everything. The property is even nicer than it looks online. I would stay here again. The only downside is having only one bathroom but it really wasn’t a huge issue.

Darling place!

Loved staying here! Views are fantastic! Cute 3 bedroom home with everything you need. A little on the older side, but many new updates inside the home. The grounds were beautiful and our 2 dogs loved running up and down the long yard to the lake. Had breakfast in the sunroom every morning. A short walk to the restaurant was a bonus, as well as renting a pontoon and using the host dock. Quiet neighborhood too. Highly recommend staying here!
