Enjoy the calm of the desert as well as the mountains at the same time (360 view). You are situated at the top of a cove with the serenity of the desert's wonderful attributes. Enjoy hiking 2 blocks away where there are some of the best hiking trails (and biking) in California. Restaurants, parks and everything is nearby! Play golf or tennis in the privacy of your own place vs. an expensive hotel - this is it! And ... enjoy your own private jacuzzi (when temps are below 100)! Access to owner's pool can be made available per special request. For horse lovers, Thermal and the Indio Polo grounds are just 15 minutes away! Take a day trip to Laguna Beach or go to the mountains nearby (elevation of 6000 FT) to Idyllwild -- all within a 1-2 hour drive as well as wine country (Temecula) is close by! Indian Wells Tennis Tournament, Stage Coach and Coachella Fest all within a 10 minute drive. Permit #226066.

Perfect for our needs

Went to Indio for a Lacrosse tournament and the place was perfect for us. Hiking was just outside our door.

Quiet and relaxing casita, great location, everything we wanted..

Excellent choice for 2 people, very pleasant patio for outside reading or am coffee; inside the bed, bath, and kitchenette were spotless and well appointed; very comfortable. The neighborhood is a gem, quiet, very safe, with very easy walking access to hiking trails and a10 minute drive to stores, restaurants, and gyms. Owner is quite responsive.We'll stay here again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Michelle’s place! Everything was absolutely perfect! You can tell Michelle knows what she is doing as a host. We really enjoyed waking up in the morning, sipping on coffee and sitting outside on the patio listening to the peacefulness of the fountain and birds chirping. The bed was so comfortable and it was such a relaxing weekend for us as we explored La Quinta area and Palm Springs. We attended a concert at Fantasy Springs and it was the perfect little place to stay afterwards. The jacuzzi was relaxing and we enjoyed the Farmers Market in old town on Sunday morning. Definitely will be back to stay here again. The best VRBO I’ve ever stayed at.

Wonderful Stay!

Clean and private. Michele was a great host and very communicative. The pictures do not do it justice! Roomy and cozy. Very hot weekend and air-conditioning unit worked well. Wish we could have enjoyed the patio area more, but it was a warm weekend. Would definitely stay here again!

Stagecoach Getaway

Michelle, the home owner, was always available and provided us with the information to get set up prior to our arrival along with activities to do in the area. The Casita was very clean and well kept. My husband and I looked forward to arriving to the casita after a long day at Stagecoach. The casita had everything we could have asked for and more, overall a great stay! We loved it.

Lovely Casita !!

My friend and I were very pleased with our weekend stay here. The property owner Michele answered all our questions in advance and recommended great places to dine! This is close to everything in La Quinta and the Casita was clean, and well supplied with towels, toiletries, blankets, pillows and coffee! Use of the jacuzzi was an added bonus. Highly recommend. Thank you Michele for everything.

Excellent Vacation House

We were pleasantly surprised when we were moved from the Casitas to the main house during our stay in La Quinta. The main house was not only exceptionally clean but also incredibly beautiful! Our only disappointment was that we were not able to stay longer and enjoy the private pool behind the house. A standout highlight was the welcoming bottle of wine, which added a spectacular touch to our experience. Additionally, our host was very responsive and an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly recommended for a relaxing and luxurious getaway!

Lovely stay

My husband and I booked very last minute, and the owner got back to me right away. The property turned out to be lovely, well maintained and in a wonderful quiet neighborhood. The unit is as advertised, within walking distance of a fantastic hiking trail. Michele provided a bottle of wine, as well as information about the area. She was fantastic with communicating back to me with any questions I had. I would highly recommend staying here, and plan to re-book sometime soon.

Love love love it!

Great accommodations! Cute and cozy casita for a weekend getaway. Michele was so sweet (even though I never actually met her face to face). She would communicate via email or text, checking in to see if all was okay and reminding us we could contact her anytime! If we find ourselves attending Stagecoach again in the future, would definitely stay here a second time. By the way, we biked back/forth to the festival...what a timesaver!

Great Marraige Retreat

My wife and I got away from the cold Midwest for our annual family planning/marriage retreat. This will rank as one of our top gateways. Michelle was super responsive and provided some great information. When we weren't enjoying the privacy of the backyard working on our yearly planning, we enjoyed the trails right down the road, the LaQuinta Spa 5 minutes away, and the hot tub in the backyard. Lovely spot for some rest and relaxation...

I needed some well deserved rest and relaxation and found this lovely oasis in La Quinta in which to do just that! The owner, Michele, provided me with a luxurious, cozy den to lounge and treat myself with a slower pace of life. And, some of the best nights' sleep I've had anywhere from home. I had everything I needed including a daily paper at my door in the mornings and a "Things to do List" if I was so inclined. A good home base for exploring this desert area. The patio begs for relaxing with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. This lovely casita does not disappoint and I will definitely be back.

Small but charming

We enjoyed our stay here. The host was very helpful and communicative. There was nothing new or fancy about the furnishings or other appurtenances, the flat screen TV was very small, but everything worked. It's a guesthouse, not a house, and seemed to be attached to the main house, but with a separate, private entrance. We had no trouble with noise, and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. The kitchen is tiny, with no indoor dining area, but it was fine for our needs since we mostly ate out. The yard is cute, with a small but old Jacuzzi that the host was kind enough to warm up for us before we arrived. The bed and shower were comfortable.

charming but NOT clean

First of all what the casita delivered - great location, quiet neighborhood and comfortable layout. Very private space and much birdsong. The host had many thoughtful touches. However the place was dirty. Whiskers in sink, brown soap scum around faucets, stained toliet bowl, mold in shower, dirty coffee cups and positively mossy dust on any surface top other than furniture. I understand that homeowners cannot be held to the same cleanliness standards as hotels (although that was the case with other VRBO stays) and would stay again if we had assurances of it being clean. Note, I did hesitate before sending this review. It is someone's income. Perhaps it was a fluke? I reached out for advice to a friend who has a business managing B&Bs in our area. She said "hell yes" so I am.

Memorial Day Weekend

Michele’s casita is exactly as described, a very relaxing, peaceful space with tons of privacy. The space was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Communication was excellent and gave us outstanding restaurant referrals. Highly recommended!

A very misleading write-up about property

Checked in and at first site, the property seemed fine. No refrigerator as stated. It was a bar fridge, and the little freezer was thick with frost. Shower handle didn’t work. We fixed it with tools we brought for our trip. Lots of old dirt. Two kitchen drawers held a full set of pots and pans, but no hot plate. Tons of clutter including stacks of old magazines, pillows, blankets, ornaments etc. Drawer in bathroom full of hotel soaps and lotions that expired in 2010. I suggest that the owner stay in her own facility for a week to see how poorly the unit functions. No kitchen staples provided. When we asked about her providing a simple set of salt and pepper, the owner suggested that we take it from restaurants. She did eventually provide salt and pepper.

Fabulous little place for two!

My husband and I loved staying here during the Indian Wells tennis tournament. It was just 15 minutes away from the grounds and it was SO cute - such great use of a small space! Great backyard with a hot tub and a big couch, nice bathroom and closet, comfy bed, lots of light. Michele had everything we needed and was very responsive to questions. Can't wait to go back!

Cozy and Convenient

We enjoyed our stay in this sweet casita while on business in La Quinta. The patio is delightful and the hot tub a real treat. Michele was a terrific host! The location is great, close to good restaurants an even a nearby hiking trail.
