Beautiful condo in Princeville

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the condo. The view was amazing and it was a great launching spot to do all the fun activities on the northern part of the island. Luckily there was a nice breeze so AC wasn’t necessary. Unfortunately the roosters would wake us up all night long, but that is obviously out of anyone’s control.

So beautiful!

Our stay here was perfect! Our needs were all taken care of and the property is beautiful and very comfortable! The condo is spacious and the balconies have beautiful views! We hope to return again soon!

Incredible views from every room

This condo is positioned perfectly. The primary bedroom windows and lanai make for lush garden views and the ocean views from living and kitchen are amazing. Beds were comfy enough and they had a stocked kitchen. We loved this condo and would book it again. My only issue was the condo didn’t feel super super clean. The linens were definitely washed and clean but the floors felt a bit dingy. This is more of a housekeeping issue than overall the condo experience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location and accommodations. Comfy, clean, had everything we needed. Nicely decorated/modernized. Only suggestion is to have the "bug guy" come. Common problem in Hawaii, but we did have some visitors (B52's) in the kitchen.

Perfect location with privacy!

The property is on the top floor end unit so no one ever walks past while your on the lanai. You see the sun rise from the master suite. It was Nov so rained every night and day but just head south for sun. Glad we stayed north pretty and green. I recommend The Cliffs 6301 and plan to return.

Great views and accomodations

We just returned from our trip where we stayed in this condo. Four of us stayed in the condo: my husband and I and our two boys ages 10 and 12. It was wonderful. The views are incredible and everything in the condo was in great condition. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need, the beds were comfy, the selection of board games fit everyone's needs. The pool at the complex was so nice. My only caution is that the WiFi is not very strong, so if you are needing a reliable connection, I would increase your data plan and be prepared to use your hotspot. I would definitely come back to this location and stay in this condo. We went snorkeling at Tunnel Beach and saw sea turtles. Took surfing lessons from Kinimaka School of Surfing which was very well organized and the kids were both able to surf within the hour lesson. I also recommend the miniature golf at the Kauai Mini Golf and Botanical Gardens in Princeville. We all wished we had planned on staying longer!

Pretty nice place to stay with some airflow caveats

The good: amazing views, great upscale location, overlooks the ocean, we had a 3rd floor unit and I'm glad it wasn't second or first floor just for the extra loft area and the better view. The condo comes with a couple of Dyson fans to help with airflow. The bad: No A/C - which normally wouldn't be a problem, but the window screens aren't well maintained. The one in our kitchen basically fell out on its own making it difficult to leave that window open without having flies come in. There were many louvered windows in the loft that *could* have been opened for much better air-flow, but the screens on those windows were all ripped. Also, I'm not sure how we'd open them even if we wanted to since you'd need a ladder. Only one of the Dyson fans was operational.

Just Simply Amazing

The condo was absolutely great, 5 stars +++. We were a familly of 4 with kids of 18 and 14 who had the luxury of their studio on the second floor with own tv and what about the amazing huge master bedroom with own balcony... Another huge balcony up front with family table where we enjoyed the 3rd floor sea breeze during breakfasts and sunset at diner times. Wow, wow, wow!!! Location was great at less than 10 min from Hanalei. All activities on the north shore were within 30 min. Great snorkling with countless opportunities to swim with sea turtles at various locations. Fully equiped beach gear was available making all beach activities as enjoyable as if we were at home. Condo is fully equiped so we could cook our meals as if we were at home and enjoy the BBQ facility. Resort pool and spa section was extremelly convenient, including a brand new sports section (shuffle board, tennis, basket, pickel ball, mini put) with all equipment provided free of charge. Must do activities: - Waimea Canyon - Ha'ena State Park trail (took us 2 hours to the fall - high pace) - Surf lessons at Hanalei - Tunnels Beach (best snorkling with sea turtles) - but parking challenge - Anini Beach (second best snorkling at 5 min driving and plenty of parking - Hand feeding of wild nee-nee birds at the condo front lawn - and so much much more... Make sure to make early reservation of boat tour for Napali Coast. Our trip was cancelled on us last minute due to boat engine problem. Being on our last day, we had no plan B possible. Last minute booking is impossible. Checkin-in was fast and simple. Key was available at the door as per instructions and resort check-in also had welcome package ready for us. This is one of our best rental ever. We highly recommend and would go back anytime. Special note to light sleepers, be aware of the lovely signing of roosters announcing sunrise. This was charming but you may want to close your windows or wear hear plugs if not interested :-)

There were a few issues with the bathroom cleanliness that we would have appreciated been addressed before our stay. The shower drain was not properly draining and screws were loosely kept which consequently fell out into the shower. There was a mid week refresh listed in the handbook which was not provided as well. Additionally some amenities such as blow dryer and fans were not functioning. Overall the location is beautiful and worth the stay but I wish the quality matched the price.

We loved the spacious condo.A few things we noticed that I would expect in such an upgraded condominium.The cleanliness was a bit lacking. The floors were sandy when we arrived and the furniture on the lanai’s were needing a cleaning. The refrigerator needed a good wipe down on the exterior. The windows that crank open had a lot of black dirt debris which then blew inside. The bathtub has a drainage problem the water drains away while bathing. I fell and needed a soak with Epsom salts but was disappointed with the bathtub. Thanks

They had the essentials...for example, laundry detergent, dish soap, trash bags, etc. I have been to many rentals and they don't have these so I was very excited when they had these tings. One less trip to the store:) They also had chairs for the beach and great beach towels. The staff who worked at the Cliffs were extremely helpful in planning our days around Kauai since this was our first time there. The view was gorgeous. We would wake up in the morning and sit outside and watch dolphins and whales swim by. It was extremely relaxing. I highly recommend the cliffs and the condo we stayed in.

Family Fun

We thoroughly enjoyed our condo and location. It was clean and the check in process was very easy and the staff was extremely kind and helpful with planning our days while we were in Kauai. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning, pour a cup of coffee and walk outside and whale watch. It was close to hanalei bay beach where we would go after a day of adventure and the kids would body surf and swim in the waves. We highly recommend the cliffs.

Relaxing retreat in gorgeous Kauai

We had a fantastic time in Princeville, staying at this wonderfully appointed apartment. The views were simply stunning... watercolour sunsets and blissful breezes. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was available, particularly in the kitchen that was very well stocked. The apartment was clean and tidy upon arrival. There is a pool and gym in the complex as well. As a suggestion, the apartment is due for an update. Due to the age, and perhaps overuse by renters, some things are worn and could be replaced. We found some of the blinds to be broken, fans were not sufficient to keep cool at night (especially in the loft area) and some of the bedding was a little musty. For the price of the rental, I would expect a little more attention to detail. Otherwise, I enjoyed the stay and appreciated the seamless check-in process, free parking and amenities.

Private, Family Friendly with Amazing Views

Our family of 4 stayed in this condo for 5 nights in Mar-Apr. It had all the amenities we needed including a well stocked kitchen and very clean BBQ area for meals at home. Sunrises from the master bedroom were exceptional and the kids loved having their own beds in the loft area (open to the living room below). The condo is a great location for activities on the northern part of the island; Hanalei Bay sunsets and boogie boarding, Hanalei River kayaking, Hideaway Beach snorkelling, Poipu bike trail. The open living area, views and covered decks are perfect for rainy days (although we only had one during our stay). We especially enjoyed watching breaching humpback whales and albatross from the deck!
