Beachfront Contemporary The Heart Of Los Barriles! New 1/1 Guest Casita!!

Completed in 2016, Casa Blanca is an art-filled contemporary beauty of functional simplicity and minimalist design. Two bedrooms/two baths in the main house! Both master suites, a great room/kitchen, full office with Wi-fi (new FAST Starlink internet installed 2023), laundry room (full size washer&dryer/hang space). ***Our new CASITA located by the pool (this is the third bedroom). A beautiful queen size bed, attached full bathroom full of natural Baja light, and a separate entrance for total privacy.

Pebbletec pool, outdoor couches front and back, large covered loggias, 28' of pocket/sliding door openings give BEACHFRONT a new definition! Located on the main (read: best!) sandy beach in Los Barriles, walk right down the stairs to the sugar-sand beach. Kite, kayak, snorkel, swim or just sit under an umbrella, it couldn't be simpler. Or just grab a beach chair by the front wall and enjoy the view!

This property is quiet and serene. It is well maintained and very easy to get to. Several outstanding restaurants in town are within walking distance. The sea is calm, clear and cool. Only 180 steps from the back deck to waters edge. Why pay the same for some crowded, noisy resort?This was our fourth stay and there will be more.

Great location on the beach near downtown

This house was amazing. We liked it from the beginning but found that the property grew on us and we loved it more and more each day. The house is such a relaxing vibe with the sounds of the sea serenading us to sleep each night. It is the perfect blend of elegance and simplicity. Thank you for a wonderful escape.

Stunning

Honestly, this place is perfect. Beach at your feet. Pool in the back. Aesthetically gorgeous. Walk to fantastic restaurants and or stores. Bring US dollars. The only thing I would change, is a later check out. 10 AM is too early.

Amazing House!

This house is spectacular and even more impressive in person. Very modern with everything you need. The views are gorgeous and the sandy beach is beautiful right outside your door. I especially loved being able to walk everywhere in town. We watched the sunrise every morning from the outdoor patio. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing house and beach location

The house and location are amazing - the entire property is amazing. Location is very central to town, and with beach access what else could you ask for. We had to cut our trip short - but would love to come back some day.

Beautiful home / difficult management

Beautiful, modern home, great location, well-stocked kitchen. We did lose power & water multiple times, while neighboring houses did not. Luckily the neighbor shared his hose with us. During a windstorm, the poorly-constructed gate blew off, and also broke a paddle-board paddle. After departing, they accused us of smoking in the house, which was absurd, as no one in our party smokes at all, and there was zero smoke odor at any point during our stay. Upon arriving home, we agreed to pay $90 for the paddle, even though we felt like you should be able to reasonably count on a gate not falling and/or breaking things. Once the charge went through (a month after our stay), it was for $234. This was a complete surprise, but they claimed it was for excess electrical use. I'm aware that this possibility was in the contract, but the specifics were never communicated in the month between our stay and the CC charge, nor was there transparency regarding the meter readings and/or amount being charged per kWh prior to the charge. We've stayed in LB many times, and ultimately it comes down to: beautiful house, difficult owners/management.

Best location ever

The property itself was amazing. The house is updated and has everything you need for even a longer stay—including whole house UV water filtration so you can drink the water! Communication prior to arrival with the property manager was slow (did not even confirm address until the day of check in—and the address in Vrbo was slightly wrong; and no info was sent about check in process until we were driving to the unit) and it would have been helpful to have been sent the house book (full of recs and info like the water filtration) before arrival. Communication was much better once we had checked in, especially regarding our additional casita rental cleaning which there had been a small miscommunication about. The location on the beach was absolutely fantastic and the pool was great for windier days. Kitchen was very well stocked (coffee pot, blender, tons of baking supplies, plenty of pots/pans/bowls/plates). Beach chairs were a very nice thing to have but no other “toys;” however there are many rental places in town.

An amazing view and property!

We have been coming to Los Barilles for a number of years and this property was the nicest we have stayed in! The views are amazing and the house has everything you need. We created some amazing family memories and will definitely look at staying here again on our next visit!

Perfect in every way !

We feel in love with this property the minute we opened the front door! The views are stunning! The house is absolutely gorgeous. Clean and spacious and has everything you need. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the spacious deck. We have stayed in Los Barriles about 8 times in the last 2 years. This is the nicest rental and hands down and the best property manager. Julie was absolutely wonderful! We extended our stay this time and hated to leave. Location was so easy to walk to the coffee shop, restaurants and shops. Steps from the beautiful beach. We highly recommend this property!! Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us and making us feel at home.

Perfection in LB

I have been travelling to Los Barrilles for over 20 years. This home is exceptional with an unparalleled place to sit and stare at the big beautiful ocean and beach under a shaded breezy porch. The beds are so comfy and the layout of the house is fabulous for four adults and pups. Can't say enough positive about the place, the property managers and the owners.

Beautiful stay and great location!

Property is just as described and shown in pictures if not better. The pool was a fabulous add and perfect to cool off and hang out in. The sliding doors really bring the outside in with fabulous views. Beds were extremely comfortable. Washer and dryer really helped out during our stay as well. We loved everything about our stay and felt like it was our home away from home. We felt perfectly safe and property manager was easy to communicate with WhatsApp. Highly recommend this casa and would rent again!

Lovely Modern Home

From the stunning sunrises, to the well stocked kitchen, super comfy beds, and being on the best part of the beach, this house has it all. We stayed here when it was incredibly hot, the house has great A/C, another perk. And a sweet little pool complete with dragonflies! Wonderful!!

Very comfortable house

Very clean well maintained home. Only had one minor issue with first bedrooms bathroom door that scraped on the floor when opening and closing. Everything else was fantastic and looking forward to another stay there again.

Luxury and Location combined

The view from the house was picture perfect. With easy back gate access to the beach just a short walk to the water, plus nearby restaurants & beach bars, we could not have been in a better spot. Casa Blanca has a beautiful contemporary design and is fully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would recommend this vacation home and hope to be back again.

Best of Times

We celebrated a family reunion with our adult children and this place was wonderful. It’s on the best beach in Los Barilles and close to everything such as dining and activities (specially Sportfishing). You will be blessed with magnificent sunrises each day while having your first cup of coffee or tea. Will definitely return and stay here again. Thank you for the memories.

I could not have imagined a better place to stay with my husband, dogs and friends. Beautiful beachfront location in amazing home. Both the owners and property manager were very responsive and helpful and everything was perfect. Definitely will stay here again when coming to LB.

We have been spending winters in warm, beautiful Los Barriles since 2005, when we built our first home here. We built Casa Blanca this year, a simple, minimalist, functional, single story home right on the best beach in town. Walking to town for coffee, lunch or dinner, shopping and seeing friends is the best! In the summer months, we live in Napa, CA.

We looked around Mexico for over 2 yrs until we found our little town here in Baja. The combination of stunning beauty, simple surroundings, bright and friendly people and the relaxed atmosphere that is Baja, made us feel right at home from the beginning.

This property is managed by a local property management firm, EastCape Vacation Rentals, owned and operated by Julie Marks (www.abajavacation.com). Julie has lived and worked in Los Barriles full time for 21 yrs and is a fountain of knowledge and experience for her clients & renters. Why is this important to you? So many VRBO owners are trying to manage their rental properties from afar. I believe that if a renter has a problem with the house, a local contact is essential. Your vacation days are valuable and being able to call someone in town who has the connections to take care of you is important! Yes, I pay more for this service, but I want our renters to have the best time possible and enjoy their vacation.
