Within easy reach of the city centre and a short walk to Brighton's famous North Laines, this is a beautiful two bedroom apartment, with separate, private, entrance. It is tastefully decorated in a contemporary style, providing a peaceful, calm location for a memorable break.

A beautifully presented, luxury, extremely spacious, two bedroom flat in Brighton, with a pretty patio area for alfresco dining. It is in a peaceful location, about one and a half miles from the seafront. Free on street parking.

The accommodation comprises of, two double bedrooms, one with king size bed and single sofa bed, the other with double bed; a luxury shower room; utility room with washer/dryer; an open plan living area, with fully equipped kitchen; dining area with table and 7 chairs and a comfortable lounge area with double sofa bed; television, DVD, wifi etc. There are folding doors, which open to a pretty decked area with a BBQ, providing a wonderful inside/outside space for your use.

All linen and towels are provided. As regular travellers ourselves, we have tried to think of everything necessary to make your stay as comfortable as possible, with a very well equipped kitchen. To welcome you on your arrival you will find fresh flowers, tea and ground coffee, fresh milk and biscuits which we hope will set the tone for a relaxing break.

Preston Park Station is a 6 minute walk away with regular train services into London that take under an hour .

The South Downs and downland villages are within easy reach by car or you could take the bus.

There is a bus stop two minutes walk away with buses into Brighton centre every 10 mins. You can explore everything the region has to offer by bus, the South Downs National Park – and far beyond! From rambling and sports events to browsing local markets or enjoying picnics with amazing views, there are plenty of great days out in the region.

Nestling between the South Downs and the sea on the South Coast, Brighton Centre is only 1.5 miles and the stunning City can offer you everything, with a mix of Regency Heritage and seafront cool. A cosmopolitan mix of award winning restaurants and bars, theatres and historic buildings, Brighton is one of the most vibrant, colourful and creative cities in all of Europe.

Brighton is perfect for a break any time of the year.

Early summer get away

Lovely clean property, well located in a quiet area with good transport links into Brighton and the surrounding area. Julie and Bruce were the perfect hosts very welcoming Would definitely stay again if visiting Brighton

Great stay

A great stay. Highlights were:Really cleanComfortable beddingSpacious Well laid outComfortable Well equipped kitchen Some really great extras like fresh flowers, milk and biscuits. Highly recommend - also there's an electric car charger on the lamp post opposite the house which was handy. The owner Julie was super helpful and friendly too.

Perfect location for a relaxing break

Felt special arriving to see a vase of flowers, milk in the fridge, and a box of yummy chocolate biscuits. Lovely clean and fresh accommodation with all amenities u need to stay away for a few days. Thank you

We visit Brighton regularly as we have both friends and family in the area and thrilled to have found this 2 bed place, in a great location, big enough for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids under 5). The host communicated well and provided a fan for us last minute as our visit was on a particularly hot week. It was spotless, the kitchen had everything we needed and the outside decking/terrace was a lovely. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again on our next visit :)

Lovely property, very well equipped

We had 3 nights here and it was exceptionally clean on arrival with fresh flowers and milk also provided. Good park nearby for the children and a lovely pub in walking distance. The owner was also lovely and responded quickly when we asked a question. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful Stay in Brighton

We travelled here to attend a wedding in Brighton and the apartment was comfortable and spacious and very well equipped. It was located in a great location (15 minutes from Brighton) close to transport links (although there was a steep hill to negotiate from the Train Station, which was fun with suitcases!). Julie the host was also very helpful and friendly. A perfect stay and we would happily stay again if we were in the area).

Spaciousness accomadation

Great location and accommodation!! Easy bus ride to the Town center..our host Julie was at hand at all times for the smallest of things and a pleasure to work with.. Be sure you display the permit to park overnight and mark the month and day as I did not and got ticketed!! I highly recommend this accommodation…

Comfortable flat in nice area

We spent 6 nights in this well-equipped flat. Everything was very tidy and clean and we didn't miss a thing. Julie, the host was very friendly and stored our luggage the last day because our flight back home was very late. Thank you very much for a lovely stay in our Easter holidays.

A Lovely Place to Stay in Brighton

The apartment is spacious, very well-appointed, clean and very comfortable and homely. The location is convenient for access to Brighton and public transport links but it is also in a quiet, leafy neighborhood. Julie is a warm, welcoming host. All in all, a great stay and we would look to return when we are back in the area. Thank you!

Restful apartment close to Brighton and Preston Park

Very lovely, spacious apartment set on ground floor of characterful house. Convenient for getting into and around Brighton and Hove.We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor feel at the back of the property and the proximity of Preston Park for a walk or other activity.Our host Julie was very responsive and looked after us well.If you work the times, parking was pretty easy which is a big plus for Brighton.

Lovely apartment in Brighton.

We stayed at the apartment visiting family who lived nearby. Everything was great. Spacious, clean, very nice patio, very well equipped kitchen, best we've ever had in a rental unit. The only slight downside is some minor noise from the people upstairs in the morning. Highly recommended flat.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay at Julie’s place. She was a great host, eg sorting out some toys for the kids. The place was as expected, a lovely compact two-bed flat with very nice furnishings etc. It’s a basement/ground floor flat so there is a bit of footfall noise from the place upstairs - no other noise but worth being aware of if that kind of thing bothers you.

Hidden Treasure

A beautiful, high class property tucked away in a quiet leafy road. All rooms and equipment were high quality. We especially liked the south facing sitting room and outside patio. Our host was very welcoming, on arrival the kitchen came with a few very thoughtful essentials - plus some beautiful fresh cut flowers. We will certainly stay again :-)

Very good flat in Brighton

We have had a good time in Brighton, We come with our car, and park easy near the flat, thanks to the voucher of Julie; and we take easily the bus to go in the center of Brighton. We have gone to London from Preston station near the flat very easily. The flat is very well aquipped and the beds are good, very confortable. Thanks for all Julie !

Lovely weekend away

We went down to Brighton for the weekend as my wife was running the marathon. We have 3 boys so getting a hotel is a pain as we have to get 2 rooms. We found this apartment on vrbo and we were delighted with it. It was clean, comfortable, well decorated and fully equipped for a family. It was within a short walk of preston park for the start of the marathon and only a short taxi ride into the town which was cheaper then a bus, or parking in the town. The communication from owners was excellent and they left out fresh flowers and provided extras such as milk biscuits which the boys enjoyed and coffee,tea was included. Overall we were really pleased with our stay and it was reasonably priced to

Julie war eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin mit vielen Tipps und jederzeit hilfsbereit.Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet. Vor allem die Küche hatte alles was man zum Kochen braucht. Viele Gewürze, Öl und Essig. Aber auch ausreichend Töpfe und sogar eine Salatschleuder. Es war ruhig und man konnte im kleinen Garten schön essen. Oder auch die Türen komplett aufmachen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Die Wohnung kann auch mit dem Preis „Schöner Wohnen“ ausgezeichnet werden!Vielen Dank

Sehr schöne Souterrainwohnung mit herzlichen Vermietern. Beim CheckIn erschrickt man erst einmal, weil es nur eine schmale Treppe zwischen Baugerüsten in eine Kellerwohnung ging. Diese entpuppte sich aber als sehr geräumige Souterrainwohnung mit einer schönen Terrasse oberhalb eines Gartens, der fremdgenutzt wird. Die herzlichen Vermieter wohnen nebenan und begrüßten einen mit frischen Gartenblumen in jedem Zimmer, Kaffeepulver, Milch und Cookies. Auch sonst sind sie sehr hilfsbereit, wenn man sie braucht. Parken an der Straße ist wie beschrieben problemlos, wer durchparken will bekommt Tickets vor Ort für 3,50/Tag. Von der Wohnung in das Zentrum sind es zu Fuß mind. 40 Min. (bergab). Wir haben uns daher für einen 7-Tagespass für den öffentlichen Bus entschieden (Linie 5 B, ins Zentrum Richtung Hangleton, zurück Richtung Holingbury), aktuell für 28/Pers. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, wir haben mehrmals gekocht. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Umgebung ist ruhig, zu den Mietern oberhalb etwas hellhörig. Alles in allem können wir das Appartement und die Vermieter auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

We are Julie and Bruce, we have lived in the City for many years and are proud of its vibrancy and diversity. We enjoy getting out and about walking and on our bikes, along the seafront or up on the downs. We are energetic and try to squeeze in as much as we can. Family is a large part of our lives and we love to spend time with them.

Halcyon is perfectly situated in a pleasant tree lined avenue, reputed to be one of the finest in Brighton, it is within easy reach of the city centre and all it has to offer, local public transport, mainline train station (London less than an hour). On street parking is free (a rarity). Brighton is a great place to visit at anytime of the year.
