Fantastic Stay! Loved every minute!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The apartment is spotless. The pool and saunas were lovely, and the views were unbelievable! Close to everything in Chateau d'Oeux. The communication was consistent and helpful. 10/10 we would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for the memorable experience!

La Soldanelle

We were 5 male adults beyond 70, but active on race bikes every day Very nice location and an interesting multi-appartement building. Nevertheless we felt like living alone there enjoying also the SPA area to our conveniance. A few things were missing in the kitchen but no problem. The communication with the owner was very friendly and efficient. We would certainly come back again! Thanks! Detlef

La literie des lits individuels étaient très moyenLa qualité des draps moyens, certaines poêles étaient usagées. Pour le reste c’est une belle prestation.

Im very glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you recommend it as being a good place to stay . The bedlinen is plain and simple but it is Egyptian cotton , I will check though with the cleaners though in case they used something else.

Top Location

Die Wohnung war super für 7 Personen. Check-in reibungslos, Schlüsselabgabe auch. Einziger Negativpunkt, es hat viele englische Steckdosen und eher wenig schweizer.

Regarding the english adaptor plugs it must be that previous guests took them home in error but thanks for letting me know they have now been replaced. For your future reference we always have additional adapters with the check in lady who also manages the property. thanks Anna

Perfect stay

Perfect appartment for family stay in an authentic building. Pool jacuzzi and sauna area very nice and calm. Nearby several ski areas and Gstaad. Another great memory created....

Nice apartment

Nice and spacious apartment with breathtaking view. Beautiful surroundings. Nice for hiking and driving around. Bathropes where missing and the administrator of the building was not happy with children in the pool. But overall we where really happy with our stay.

it is so lovely to hear you and family had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings . Not sure why the concierge commented on children in the pool . Children are welcome albeit under a certain age , spa rules require their supervision .

Amazing holiday

My whole family were in desperate need of a fun and relaxing family holiday. Had to be right for two grand parents, two energetic kids and two tired parents. La soldanelle and Chateaux d’oex fitted the bill brilliantly. Lots of things to do in the surrounding areas, plenty of space to relax, great swimming pool, friendly people and beautiful mountain scenery. Thanks to Anna for renting the apartment and thanks for Ernest for being so helpful on our arrival Great time had by all

Elegant and charming place

Perfect 5 weeks vacation in this lovely apartment situated a walking distance to all amenities, shops and restaurant in the village. The apartment is very nice and practical, it offers beautiful views over the mountain. it provides all necessary items and equipment on may need. It was very clean upon arrival. The lay out is very good with a large living room facing south and a terrace for the views. Very quiet for there are no streets around. The building is equally elegant with a great hall and wonderful facilities for all ages in the family. The owner is very nice and has been very helpful. Check in is facilitated by pleasant and reliable manager. All in all a very nice place I warmly recommend.

Superb accomodation spacious and stylish

Awesome views in such a stylish apartment , modern and luxurious with owners that actually care and great service. We travel around Europe a lot and this is by far the most stylish and luxurious that we have stayed in. Great facilities in the building good size pool, steam room, sauna & jacuzzi. They even have a massage room and a pool table. The kitchen was well equipped plenty of plates, cutlery and cups and cooking pans . Dining table comfortably sits 8 we had 10 round the table one night. A lovely large balcony with panoramic mountain views with additional dining table for 8, didnt get to use it as a bit cold in November. Clean limestone bathrooms. Great signal on the Wi fi and good selection of dvds to watch. I have already booked to go back again , cant wait !

Luxury in the mountains

A group of 8 of us stayed at this apartment in September for family wedding. It has everything you need for a week long stay and more. The apartment block has excellent facilities, gym, swimming pool, saunas, lounges and parking. It has a lift to all floors, and we had an elderly guest with us who had no problems getting around with a walking stick. It is located in Chateau d'Oex which is a small town with lots of character and enough to keep you occupied for a couple of days, with Geneva and Lausanne within striking distance too. The only slight issues we had: No WIFI in the apartment, although you could access the communal wifi if you stood by the apartment front door with the door open. Vast majority of shops close on a Sunday, so arriving on a Sunday meant we had to buy food and travel with it. Could possibly do with more cooking products- pots and pans, we struggled to cater for the 8 of us as we didn't have quite enough. The apartment has a lovely balcony, with hot air balloons going over early in the morning, good size rooms and bathrooms, huge living area with dining table and comfy sofa. Slept 8 comfortably, 2 twin rooms and 2 doubles. Enough storage space for a weeks worth of food. It was very clean on arrival. Highly recommend it, decent value for money for the level of accommodation provided and a good location to go exploring.

Fantastic gettaway

The location was absolutely superb and way beyond our expectations. On this occasion we went with another couple but would not hesitate to return with our family as this property had something for everyone, The property was spacious and exceptionally clean and the maid service highly efficient. The biggest and best surprise of all was the amazing wonderfully and professionally equipped gym which we we all took daily advantage of. We felt that we would find it difficult to find fault with and so accessable to reach and are already planning when we can return with the family as just know our teenagers willl love the proximity to all the assets the resort has to offer with all the sporting facilities. Its not often you can combine luxurious living style with all you need to make the perfect holiday.

Tranquility at a price

Splendid location above the village with good panoramic views Good security access and safe parking. lift access to all floors large spacious apartment light and airy. Good sized bedrooms and good bathrooms Everything fine except a little jaded armchairs in lounge -- damaged covers pity ! but need to be fair!! Excellent pool sauna and steam room. but jacuzzi not working Best Gym I have ever seen Superb communal lounge with good intermet access by wi -fi but not extrnded to rooms housekeeping/ key arrangements meticulous and punctual as expected Very relaxing perfect for our needs We could not have chosen better

very nice apartment the location was great as well as views the apartment was very clean comfortable and well equiped The rooms are excellent the owner provide good customer service the apartment was big Everything was very good car parks available and i tell my friend a bout this apartment
