Located on the Peljesac Peninsula apartment Kuciste 51b is in the village of Kuciste and is set in a prime waterfront position in a quiet, picturesque, old sea captains village with a direct view from garden terrace to the medieval town of Korcula on the Dalmatian coast. The apartment is ideal for a maximum of four adults and one child - consisting of two double bedrooms for up to 4 persons and for +1 person small bedroom, one bathroom,one seperate WC, open plan kitchen, dining and lounge which has a ground level view to the sea. There is an outside seating in the garden amongst the olives and only a few steps away for a swim in the crystal clear and clean waters of the Adriatic sea.There is an off shore mooring for small size speed boats in front of property. Short walk to local shops, restaurants, bicycle, boat and windsurf hire.


The apartment being positioned at the stunning backdrop of Mount Ilija is perfectly situated for scenic walks, cycling, hiking or just “time out” from stresses of everyday life. In contrast its waterfront location offers windsurfing, kitting, snorkelling, fishing, boating, sailing or swimming.

*NB:Peak Season bookings taken in multiple of seven days only(Saturday - Saturday)*

The location of our apartment is also very suitable for people of the older generation, particularly in May/June before the crowds arrive and again in September/October when the water is at its warmest, the restaurants uncrowded, the grapes ready for harvesting and the new season's wines available for tasting. The scenic long flat seaside road is very special for a stroll at any time of the day (or night).

A central location for excursions to medieval towns of Korcula(10min boat trip) and Dubrovnik(150km); Ston(55km) 14th century, 5km long fortification walls and the centuries old salt pans; boat trip to Mljet National Park; boat tour of Peljesac Riviera with stops for swimming on the islands of Badija and in Lumbarda; Mostar and Medugorje(pilgrimage site);Kravice spectacular waterfalls where you can swim in close by Bosna and Hercegovina an approximate two hour drive.

perfect start into 2016

Beautiful place to stay right next to the beach! The apartment is very modern, perfectly equipped and the view is just great. Natasha is a great host. We very much enjoyed our time there and will definitely come back.

A perfect holiday in a perfect place...

A beautiful, peaceful place and an unusually cultivated and visually unobtrusive atmosphere of a very comfortable, well maintained accomodation next to the immediate vicinity of the clear blue sea bounded by a lush and diverse Mediterranean vegetation. And above all the ever-present kindness of the apartment owners willing to be descreetly helpful to vacation renters any time...Absolutely recommendable in any respect. Cozy Oceanfront Stay

Natasha is a lovely host and really went above and beyond to make our stay special. Check in was seamless with good directions and she even had a bottle of sparkling wine as a congrats for our recent wedding. The place is cozy and was perfect for the two of us. The ocean access is directly across the street and it was awesome to have, especially on hot days and there is a beach access just down the street (bring jelly shoes). The area is a bit sleepy and mostly filled with campers and local summer home owners but it’s a great spot if you’re looking to day trip to Korcula or even see some of the beautiful wineries throughout the Peninsula. Natasha and Joe live on the property and were happy to help with suggestions and even lending us personal bikes for use. It was a quiet and cozy stay and a lovely place to relax.

Fabulous beach front gem

Great little apartment in an idyllic location with it's own little beach and sun loungers! Natasha and Joe were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment is one of the best equipped that we have stayed in, including really nice touches like tea lights (practical stuff too including laundry powder!) It was also immaculately clean and tidy. On arrival there was water and beer in the fridge and a lovely plate of local ham and cheese. There is a stunning seating area in your own private garden overlooking the sea! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment and am looking forward to returning next year.

A wonderful magical place to stay

Coming from the US and never having been to Croatia before, we really didn't know what to expect. We were traveling with our daughter, son in law and two young grandchildren. All three generations had a wonderful time and loved the accommodations. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had plenty of room for all of us. The (rocky) beach was steps away from the front door and the crystal clear water was ideal for swimming and playing with the children. Natasha and Joe were wonderful hosts and had helpful suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Korcula was a short ferry ride away and a great day's activity. Boat and bike rental were close by and watching (or doing) sail and kite surfing out the front door was a treat. We highly recommend a stay here.

Peaceful location with gorgeous views of private beach

We stayed here for a week with two children (7 and 9) and had a wonderful time! Natasha and Jozo were very gracious hosts, discrete but available to answer any questions about the surrounding area. Jozo was kind enough inflate the boat we bought for the kids and even lent us paddles during our stay. Natasha welcomed us with some cheese and ham upon our arrival and spoiled us with some fresh figs from a neighbor's garden - delicious! The apartment is very clean, well equipped and nicely decorated (just like in the pictures). We spent evenings under the pergola watching the sunset over the ocean and grilling on the bbq. We really enjoyed the small private beach just in front of the house across from a quiet street (bring your swimshoes and snorkling gear!). It was a luxury to have our own small jetty and peaceful beach area all to ourselves in the midst of August (high season!). We don't surf but it definitely is the place to be! Try the kayaking at Donkey in Vinganj and don't forget to stop by for homemade ice-cream next-door (new flavors every day and the best we had in Croatia)! We enjoyed the Kuciste local town festival one evening, right by the beautiful waterfront by a pretty old church. And don't miss a visit of Korkula - the boat leaves directly from Kuciste at around 7pm and comes back around 11pm, just perfect for a sunset evening stroll and dinner in the old part of town. A wonderful experience and I can highly recommend it! Many thanks Natasha and Jozo for everything!

Lovely and relaxing holiday in beautiful Croatia

This lovely apartment in a small village in Croatia is a place to come back to, the very literal definition of a "home away from home". Situated in a calm, relaxed, small, town in Croatia, with direct access to a small beach, and plenty of opportunity for Windsurfing, it is my family's favorite vacation destination over the past 5 years. The apartment itself is impeccably clean, and offers everything that one would need in terms of comfort and utility, which immediately made us feel very at home. Furthermore, there is a wonderful little pavilion in the front yard, that is at the guests' disposal, which offers shade during the midday heat, and also allowed to eat our self-cooked meals with direct sea-view. Additionally, as a Windsurfing family, we highly appreciated that there was only a 10 meter walk directly into the clear blue sea where we could begin surfing immediately. Hence, it's important to note, that there is regular wind in Kuciste, which is quite suitable for surfers, but even for non-surfers it can be very welcome as a contrast to the strong heat in Croatia during the summer season. The area itself is very quiet, but it therefore really allows for a vacation from the turbulence of one's everyday life where one is at complete peace. However, we also went to nearby villages such as Korcula, Orebic, and Viganj which are all quite accessible and offer cafes and small stores for the occasional ice-cream and day trips. Last but not least, the owners, Natasha and Jozo, are very welcoming and accommodating. They were always willing to answer our questions and suggest the best places to visit, where buy fresh fish, or where to find new surf equipment in the case that something broke. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who likes a calm holiday in a beautiful environment due to its flawless cleanliness, welcoming hosts, and priceless location.

Amaizing property

Our stay with Natasha and Joe exceeded all of our expectations. The property was perfect and they were accommodating and extreamly helpfull. We hired Joe to take us on a private winery tour and we had an exceptional day. I would recommend this property to anyone. The apartment is bigger than it looks in the photos. The outside area is delightful.

Beautiful spacious apartment with wonderful view

Apartment was very clean and more spacious than anticipated. Plenty of kitchen equipment. The shower/laundry room was extremely useful as it had a big butler sink which was handy for washing snorkelling equipment and beach shoes. Very relaxing but there are numerous places to explore if you prefer and don’t mind driving some very windy roads. Natasha is very friendly and even gave us some of her daughter’s birthday cake.

Lovely apartment with cool garden and beach

Brilliant neat and spacious apartment. Very lovely and generous hosts. Reality surpassed the listing and photos and the shaded garden space with view to Korcula was heaven on hot days. The road in front was really quiet so the little beach felt totally part of the space, lovely to swim/snorkel or lie on sun loungers. Handy shop in the village centre and loads of windsurf and SUP hire within short walk.

Perfect location

Nice apartment, very clean , modern equipment. Even better than the pictures, with, in addition, a nice terrace facing the sea. This was one of my favorites from Croatia. The host are present but nevertheless remain discreet and give us a lot of information. The apartment is well located , near the center of interest of which the island of Korcula. My only regret is not staying longer

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Appartement! Die Wohnung ist in einem top Zustand und befindet sich wie beschrieben direkt am Meer, mit einem schönen Garten und einer schattigen Laube zum chillen und frühstücken!Die Lage ist genial! Natasha & Jo waren die perfekten Gastgeber-lieben Dank für deine Surftipps :) Unsere Lokalempfehlungen in der Nähe: Bota 1865 Kuciste, Ponar- Orebic (tolle Aussicht über die ganze Bucht ), Konoba Mirce Loviste(Meeresfrüchterisotto, Calamari) , K2 Bar in Viganj ( die besten Cocktails) Surf Center Perna ( super Team, Ausrüstung top) Nachbar Surfschule können wir nicht empfehlen, leider unfreundlich, teuer und noch dazu mieses Equipment) Einkaufen:kleiner Supermarkt bei Rest. Bota, sowie mehrere in Orebic Wir kommen gerne wieder.. diesmal mit Surfausrüstung !!

Wonderful house

Wonderful house facing the sea, on the very first row. We did swim in front of the house and lay on chairs available right on the beach! We had also a lunch in the nice garden of the house, with a table under a green foliage. Kitesurf and windsurf school are less than 2km away. Easy trips in Korcula island thanks to the ferry in the next city (Orebic). We appreciated the spacious apartment on the front floor of the house, it is the perfect place for a family with 3 (even 4 if we had one more :) ) children with comfortable and modern equipments: kitchen, 2 bathrooms, comfortable beds, parking in the garden, ... The host is really nice and, noteworthy, a native english speaker! We highly recommend a stay in this apartment and in this area.

Beautifully presented apartment & perfect location

This apartment is an ideal place to enjoy the unspoilt and quiet charm of Kuciste. Our hosts were very helpful but respected their guests privacy. Windsurfing and swimming are just a few metres away. There is all one could need in the apartment and it is perfectly presented. There is a pretty shaded area at the front to enjoy lunch or dinner and loungers for a relax on the beach after windsurfing, swimming, cycling or walking. There is a shop for everyday needs a short stroll away and plenty of restaurants for all tastes within easy reach. We highly recommend a stay at Natasha and Joe's.

Traumappartment am Meer

Die Wohnung ist in Wirklichkeit noch schöner als auf den Fotos und mit allem ausgestattet was das Herz begehrt. Und nicht nur zweckmäßig, sondern stilvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail und super sauber. Wunderbar auch die Laube unter den Oliven zum Frühstück oder auf einen Sundowner. Die Nähe zum Wasser ist unschlagbar. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und unkompliziert. Jederzeit wieder!!!

Relaxing Break

We simply loved our stay in Kuciste. The location directly at the waterfront was beautiful and easy. Quite days, lovely beach and water quality, amazing seafood would summarize our trip to Peljesac. The location in Kuciste was ideal to discover the neighboring villages, beaches and area. Natasha was the perfect host : friendly, thoughtful and helpful. We are already planning our next trip:)

Thanks for a great stay

We had a wonderful time. The apartment is beautifully located and offers stunning views over the sea. Lots of restaurants are nearby and places like Korcula are easy to explore. For us and our children, many activities such as windsurfing were just around the corner. The Kuciste coast line is awesome. On top of it all, Natasha was a great host. Thank you for a great stay!

Stay by the sea in comfortable appartment

I stayed far off season in January for only 2 nights stopp over. Even though, Natasha and Joe arrange everthing, to make my short stay as comfortable as possible. I enjoyed the location close to the sea very much. There is garden space with terrace in front of the apartment and during summertime it's a perfect place to relax, once you finished your water sports activities. Natasha and Joe - see you soon again !

Nach 4 Wochen zehren wir noch immer von diesem wundervollen Urlaub. Die Gegend ist einfach wunderschön, das Klima ist wunderbar angenehm und das Wasser kristallklar. Wir haben selten in einem so schönen und vor allem sehr sauberen Appartement wohnen dürfen. Unsere Vermieter Natasha und Jozo waren zauberhaft und hatten viele wertvolle Tipps für uns. Für jede Frage hatten sie ein offenes Ohr. Wir hatten 2 wundervolle Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Appartement in einer wunderschöner Gegend. Wir wissen schon jetzt: Wir werden irgendwann wieder kommen. Vielen Dank liebe Natasha und lieber Jozo für diese schöne Zeit!

3 Wochen in Kuciste

Wir haben drei wunderschöne Wochen in der Ferienwohnung von Natasha und Joe verlebt. Nun drängt es uns, diesen beiden lieben Gastgebern von Herzen zu danken. Es war sehr, sehr angenehm in ihrem Haus, ihrem Garten, überhaupt in Kuciste und der näheren Umgebung. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die ungezwungene Nähe zur Familie, sowie den lockeren Kontakt, der mitunter nur aus einem freundlichen Zuwinken in der Einfahrt, einem fröhlichen Gruß am Morgen oder auch einem Smalltalk auf dem Hof bestand. Bei Anliegen und Fragen zeigte sich dann aber sofort das Entgegenkommen und die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber in Auskünften, Ratschlägen und praktischer Hilfe. So haben wir viel über das einstige Leben, die Kultur und die maritime Tradition der Region erfahren und Tips für Ausflüge über das Übliche hinaus bekommen. Es soll auch erwähnt werden, dass es von unserer wunderbaren Gartenlaube 50 Schritte nach Osten ein nettes Resaurant mit guter preiswerter Kost und einen herrlichen Blick auf Korcula (Klein-Dubrovnik) gibt, 1000 m nach Westen sich Post, ein weiteres Restaurant und ein gut sortierter Kaufladen aneinander reihen und an den Stränden von Kuciste und Viganj sich Gelegeheiten und Anbieter für gut ein Dutzend Wassersportmöglichkeiten gegenseitig übertreffen, na und für Radfahren und Wandern bestehen ohnehin beste Voraussetzungen. Mit einem Kleinbus haben wir uns vom Gartentor zu einem Ausflug nach Dubrovnik via Ston abholen lassen, mehrmals das gegenüberliegende Korcula besucht und auch das stille Fischerdorf Loviste am Westende der Halbinsel erkundet. Zu einem abendlichen Volksfest der besonderen Art nahmen uns Natasha und Joe in das verlassene Gebirgsdorf Nakovanj mit. Der Rest war Wandern, Baden, Sonnen und Abhängen. Das Wetter war ausgesprochen schön (September), fast immer purer Sonnenschein, das Wasser angenehm warm und kristallklar. Es gab zwei Regentage in drei Wochen. Wir kommen ins Schwärmen, was den Rahmen zu sprengen droht ... ...also möchten wir abschließend nochmals der Familie Perkusic für ihre herzliche Gastfreundschaft und das liebevoll und zweckmäßig gestaltete Appartement danken und können diese Adresse nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen! Ich bin sehr erfreut dass sie so ein wundervollen Aufenthalt bei uns hatten. Ihre überaus positive Bewertung und liebe Beschreibung unseres Apartment, Service, Umgebung und anderer Dinge die sie hier bei uns genossen haben, weiß ich sehr zu schätzen. Kroatien ist ein wundervolles Land und kućište der perfekte Ort für ein Urlaub. Sei es nur zum entspannen oder sportlich aktiv zu sein. Wir hoffen sehr sie in Zukunft noch einmal als unsere Gäste begrüßen zu dürfen.
