Tourrettes-sur-Loup, luxurious villa with exceptional panoramic view

Ideally built in the residential district of Tourettes-sur-Loup, a medieval village located 20 min away from the Nice airport. The villa is recent (2010) and fits into a land with natural stone terraces in the middle of garden planted with hundred year-old olive trees, citrus and palm trees. Its panoramic view is exceptional and overhangs the whole coast from Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat to Esterel without forgetting the village of Tourettes-sur-Loup. Its comfort spreads on 200 m² in 6 sleeping arrangements and 3 parental suite type bedrooms with their own bathroom and terrace of 15 m². It has 2 living rooms, one for reception and the other one for leisure activities, one indoor dining room and an outdoor one, a full equipped kitchen. The villa is South-East/South-West orientated; all the rooms have a panoramic view. It opens on a 100 m² sunny terrace all day long and on its infinity pool in which the view merges with the sea. The villa is fully secured

House equipment

A special care has been brought to the construction materials and on the equipment. The villa has a Provencal style with a contemporary interior. All the indoor and outdoor floors are in marble from Palestine. Indoor cobbled wall. The bathrooms are equipped with walk-in showers and one has a balneo-therapy and chromo-therapy tub. All the door frames are in solid oak wood of France and the bathroom and kitchen furniture is in oak or massif teak. Fitted spotlights throughout the villa. There is automatic floor heating. The contemporary kitchen has 2 ovens, induction hobs, glass hood, a large refrigerator/freezer and opens on the indoor and outdoor dining areas. There is automatic watering for the garden, electric shutters and automatic entrance gate with entry phone. There is a telephone in all the rooms and Internet. Safe room. Two bedrooms have an electric bed of 160 and another one has 2 beds of 80 that could be arranged in one of 160..

The surroundings of the villa

The location of the villa allows you to enjoy during summer, of the sun and sea and in winter of ski resorts of Gréolière-les-Neige (45 min), Isola 2000 (1h30), Valberg and Auron. It is ideally located between the sea and the mountain with all the possible sport activities around: water sports, hiking, paragliding, ski, tennis, golf, rafting, etc. All the leisure activities in one and same place!!

We immensely enjoyed our stay at this villa. The view is breathtaking, the house itself is wonderful and warm and has everything you need. You do need to be award that the road to the house is very steep and slippery when it rains. You need to be a (very) experienced driver and/or drive a suitable care to tackle it without problems.

Lovely villa in stunning location

The villa is in a fantastic location with excellent views down towards Nice and the Med. The pool was a lovely place to relax and Tourettes-sur-Loup just a short distance down the hill. The villa was very clean and well equipped and Francois and Catherine were very welcoming and excellent at keeping us informed.

3 Wochen im Sommer in einer Traumvilla. Wir haben mit Kindern als Familie die Tage in dem Haus sehr genossen, Die erste Kontaktaufnahme, die Übergabe und auch die Zeit vor Ort vor wirklich super. Alles passte zu der Beschreibung des Angebots.

Fantastic family holiday in beautiful villa

This villa is amazing. It feels like a home. The view is wonderful and the fittings, furniture and equipment are really good. Positives - the villa is REALLY well equipped - maps, local guides, some games, a very well equipped kitchen. Fridge and freezer with ice maker. Microwave and oven. I loved the fact that previous holidaymakers (or the owners) had left a cupboard of spices and herbs, rice, some bits in the freezer and a couple of onions - meant that we didn't have to buy spices when we only needed a teaspoon. But we did buy some things and leave them for future users. The beds were very comfy, with additional pillows available. Air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms. The pool is excellent. We paid to have the pool heated as Catherine and Francois advised it would be a bit cool at this time of year. Catherine and Francois were great to deal with - very responsive when we had a couple of problems. Tourettes is a lovely hillside town with a few restaurants and bars. The 'petit creperie' is well worth a visit. Things to be aware of - the wifi is not great. It works downstairs but not upstairs. Not a problem for us, but if you like to sit in bed looking at your phone, you'll need to use your data allowance. Each bedroom is ensuite but one upstairs is a bath and hand held shower, rather than a walk in shower. The walk up from Tourettes is strenuous. It's about 20 mins but hard work! Overall a wonderful villa and great hosts. Would highly recommend.

Toller Aufenthalt im "Hinterland"

Die Villa liegt einfach phantastisch. Vom Pool runter auf's Meer blicken, da kann man auch ein paar Tage ohne Ausflung zubringen. Frühstück und Abendessen auf der Terasse ist bei der Aussicht schon toll. Villa: sehr komfortabel, alles mehr als ausreichend vorhanden. Schlafzimmer und Bäder sind großzügig. Klimageräte sind sehr leise zu betreiben. Wichtig, da keine Fliegengitter vorhanden. Vermieterin war sehr zuvorkommend und hat alles ausführlich erklärt. Viele interessante Ausflugsziele in der Nähe. Wanderweg in unmittelbarer Nähe. Im Ort: hervorragende Restaurants, Metzger, zwei Bäcker und ein "super" Geschäft für Obst,Gemüse, Käse und alle möglichen Notwendigkeiten. Die Lage: schon toll und auch ausreichend Platz im Garten. Empfehlung: kein zu großes Auto ist mehr als hilfreich. Entfernung zum Ortskern: 1,2 km; Wir holten jeden Morgen frische Sachen zum Frühstück und gingen auch zu Fuß zum Restaurant. Ein Fitnessstudio ist danach nicht mehr erforderlich. Der Weg geht ständig bergan und zum Schluß schon sehr steil aufwärts. Ein prima Urlaubsziel zur Erkundung der Umgebung als auch zum Ausruhen. Meine Empfehlung hat es.

Séjour mémorable de 3 semaines dans cette villa parfaite, impeccable, confortable, avec une vue extraordinaire. La villa est située sur les hauteurs de Tourrettes-sur-Loup à environ 15 minutes à pied du village; s’y rendre se fait bien mais le retour est ardu à cause du dénivelé. Nous avons eu un petit souci avec l’alimentation en eau mais le propriétaire, même s’il était à l’extérieur de France, a réagit rapidement en envoyant des professionnels solutionner le problème. À recommander fortement.

Serene and elegant stay

If you are looking for a beautiful and comfortable house conveniently located in a picturesque village- look no further! This villa is well appointed and full of every amenity you may need, equipped with anything you could possibly ask for: dry goods ( salt/ oil/ pasta) , cleaning / washing supplies, pots, silverware - Good for a party of 60! The house is decorated with taste and many personal touches, very comfortable for a family of 6. We were 4 with 2 teen girls. The pool is beautiful, clean and salt water! The grounds are perfect to relax and lots of space for everyone. The village is absolutely beautiful- we were not aware it was a medieval village on hill which had restaurants, great bakery and idyllic views! We made also daily trips to Nice ( 35 mins) Menton, Antibes, even St Tropez but that was far for 1 day. I highly recommend this beautiful home and would love to return one day! thank you to the Hosts who let us spend our French holiday here!

Amazing stay!

The communication with the host and the check-in was very easy and very friendly. The villa is very clean and equipped with everything you need during your stay, even more than we expected. 2 sleeping rooms have an aircon. We chose the option to heat the pool and it was worth it. The temperature was around 27 degrees. The view was very unbelievable and we enjoyed our stay for 1 week very much and would come again anytime. Thanks again Francois and Catherine :-)

Traumhafte Aussicht

Unser Aufenthalt oberhalb von Tourette sur Loup im Juli 2021 war einfach nur traumhaft. Wenn man die steile Zufahrt gemeistert hat, erwartet einen sofort der 180Grad Blick gen Meer und Berge....unglaublich und wunderschön. Unsere Vermieter empfingen uns persönlich und wie schon zuvor die gesamte Korrespondenz völlig problemlos vonstatten ging, war auch die Schlüsselübergabe freundlich und offen. Zwei Wochen unbeschwerter Urlaub erwarteten uns. Fast täglich ging es runter in den Ort, um Frisches zum Frühstück zu besorgen. Auch sonst ist der Ort sehr gemütlich und nicht überlaufen mit netten kleinen Geschäften und Restaurants. Packt also festes Schuhwerk ein. Man ist sicher bei Rückkehr gut aufgewärmt, aber der Sprung in den Pool ist anschließend Belohnung genug. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Da die Eigentümer ein Faible für Kunst haben, sollte man vielleicht eher mit etwas größeren Kindern buchen, damit auch alles tip top bleibt. Wir genossen sehr häufig frischen Fisch vom Weber-Grill- wie immer mit herrlichem Blick. Ob Sonne oder Schatten, es findet auf dem Grundstück jeder sein Plätzchen. Ausflüge in die Umgebung sind für Jedermann und jeden Geschmack ideal: Bergdörfer wie GOURDON, Kunst und Shopping in SAINT-PAUL-DE-VENCE, NIZZA bietet alles u.s.w. Wir mögen die Stadt VALBONNE sehr gern. Hier kann man herrlich bummeln, mittags wunderbar auf dem Marktplatz französische Küche genießen und die Umgebung ist wunderschön. Alles in einem hätten wir gerne um Wochen verlängert....das sagt alles!!!!

Wunderschöner Außenbereich mit vielen verschiedenen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Immer eine Ecke mit Sonne oder Schatten. Von überall ein unvergleichlichschöner Blick auf die Umgebung und das Meer. Sehr nette Vermieter - freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We stayed one week in Sept-20. Mr and Mrs Lipp were most helpful. The villa is in excellent shape. The pool is marvellous. Walking distance to the village with shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Nous avons passé 15 jours en famille dans cette magnifique maison, tout était vraiment parfait, à commencer par l’accueil si chaleureux des propriétaires, sans oublier la maison bien sur, très fonctionnelle, décorée avec goût, située sur les hauteurs de Tourrettes et offrant un panorama à couper le souffle, avec le calme nécessaire au repos estival. Une très belle location que nous recommandons vivement !

outstanding experience

We got it all: the wonderful views on the coast below, the calm and confort of the house, the swimming pool to relax and enjoy the coolness on hot days. I shoudl also mention the morning walks to the village, to buy bread or shop at the fresh market, or sit at a quiet café, the day-strips to the seaside, or shorter drives nearby, to Vence or along the magnificent Gorges du Loup, and back to the villa for drinks and barbecue by the pool, at sunset. The owners proved really nice and helpful. We fully enjoyed our stay, and look forward to going back !
