The apartment is located in the oldest part of Salerno, in a small side street close to the seafront, just a stone's throw from St. Matthew's Cathedral. A short walk through town takes you to the main shopping and eating areas and places of cultural and historical interest. A plethora of local restaurants suits every budget and palate, offering the some of the best locally-sourced food and drink in Italy.
There is a wealth of churches and museums to visit in the town center and from mid-November until the end of January, the Christmas lights and market provide an enchanting backdrop for a winter getaway. The apartment is within walking distance of the central train station, local bus stops and ferry terminals for Amalfi, Positano, Capri and Palinuro. The archeological sites of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum are also a short bus / train ride away and the town is well-connected with Naples International Airport.
The apartment is equipped with central heating, air conditioning, a flat screen TV, fridge / freezer, kettle and conventional and microwave ovens. Towels and bedding are provided. It has twin beds and a foldaway guest bed.
The owners speak fluent English and will provide local maps, guides and tourist information.
Conditions:

The cost of the room does not include breakfast. There is an abundance of excellent bars, cake shops, bakeries and restaurants in the vicinity.

Guests are requested to observe the following:

Ensure lights, heating and air conditioning are switched off when going out.
Treat the house and furishings with care.
Keep noise to a minimum at night and behave respectfully towards other guests and neighbors.
Separate refuse as indicated.
Metered roadside parking is available nearby.
