Luxury one bedroom condo nestled on the ground floor of the Condominium Calle 38 residences. Located only 2 blocks from the bohemian pedestrian boulevard 5th Avenue (5 min walk) and 4 blocks from the beach, Condo Zen Paradise is the perfect launching point for your Playa del Carmen vacation. Your gorgeous private patio off the living room is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or relaxing and reading a book. Spend countless hours soaking up the sun in privacy or do your morning yoga al fresco.

As you walk into Zen Paradise Condo, the master suite with king bed, HDTV 32" TV, and en suite bathroom are to your right. Sleep in luxurious linens and wake up refreshed and ready to discover Playa. Just past the master suite is the complete kitchen done in silestone with ample cooking and dining utensils. Unlike many properties in Playa, the owner lives here for part of the year so the condo is well stocked with almost anything you may need. The kitchen offers a large island with breakfast bar, perfect for chatting or dining with the person cooking. Next to the island is the living room with large 55" flat screen TV and very comfortable sleep sofa which can sleep 2. The living room is flanked on one side with large sliding glass doors, which provide access to your private patio.

Your condo also comes with a premium internet package with super speed optic fiber. We also offer Netflix as part of the rental at no additional cost.

CALLE 38 is an exclusive project in the heart of Playa Del Carmen, with 28 total apartments, each one with luxury finishes of the highest quality, including marble floors, kitchen island in silestone, excellent carpentry, and air conditioning in all areas. There are 2 pools with lounge chairs - a ground floor one and then a lovely rooftop one complete with al fresco dining area and panoramic views of Playa. The front entrance to the complex also has a 24/7 security guard for added safety.

- Electricity:
AC being the largest source of electricity consumption, one way to limit the extra charge we recommend to run the AIR Conditioner only when necessary. When using the air conditioning please make sure to keep all doors and windows closed when it is running. When stepping out of the condo make sure to shut off all the lights and the a/c

When you come in the electricity counter lecture will be taken as well as for your check out. A charge of 5,5 pesos per Kilowatt (approx 0.27 USD per KW) will be deducted at the end of your stay from your security deposit.

Enjoying Playa

All in all it’s a very nice unit. It definitely is starting to show its age though. Calle 38 (the street) is a very busy street. When crossing it one has to be very much on their toes watching for cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles and other pedestrians. The staff of the condo complex was top notch. As was Dana from the property management company. And having a pool right outside our door was really great.

honeymoon in paradise

We loved this place. This was our honeymoon, and the host and property manager were so quick to respond and made our stay so nice and worry free. The part that made me tear up was how sweet they were to decorate the bed with rose petals and champagne. They even left some peanut snacks and really went above and beyond for us.THANK YOU, meant a lot to us. We highly recommend this place. You are close to everything and plenty of parking on the side streets. You have everything you need right there of walking distance. nice pool for those really hot days. Thank you for sharing your home with us and taking the time to make it special.

The property is amazing. The condo is fully equipped with everything! Aesthetically pleasing.

The condo itself is wonderful. We enjoyed the king size bed, overhead fans, beautiful shower with plenty of hot water, equipped kitchen, etc. We felt very safe. Disappointed that there was no dryer...just a clothes line. But we found a lovely lavanderia around the corner. And we would have given it 5 stars but we found ourselves frustrated a lot because the TV and WiFi would go out frequently. Out of the 12 days we were there about 7 days there was no TV and/or Internet. This was particularly frustrating because we needed to be in touch with family back home (as well as with a friend who lived in Playa del Carmen) and enjoy a movie or TV show before bed. We ended up buying an inexpensive "Mexican phone" that allowed us to call local numbers and make plans with our friend. So, this is a wonderful place to stay...just bring plenty of good books to read when the cable/ internet goes out.

Paradise Zen

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Nahiely, the property manager, was there to welcome us and was absolutely amazing our entire time there. She was always available using WhatsApp which we had never used previously. She even ran out to the store to pick up snacks, drinks and little other things upon our arrival. She even recommended a taxi driver by the name of Jonathan who became our tour guide/transportaion provider during our vacation. This really made our stay even more enjoyable and would highly using his services. He speaks good English and is a remarkable and respectful gentleman. We had fun with him and he showed us special places. This condo is in a great complex as most units have not yet been sold. We practically had the entire two pools to ourselves Morning and afternoon. Very quiet and serene !!! This place is a real gem of a find. Great location... close to grocery stores (10 minutes) , the ocean (10 minutes) and we walked to 5th avenue (5 minutes) every evening for dinner. The terrace was nice place to lounge at any given time. Would check out Paradise Zen for sure . Bob and Dayna

Great place to stay

The condo was so close to 5th ave and Mega store. The place itself was beautiful and just as the pictures show. The only potential issue is if someone wants to cook a lot. The pots and pans are not in the best shape and it's an electric stove. The oven dials are worn out. But other than that - the two pools are well maintained and very clean - extra towels were provided for the pool. Also the security and management on site are very friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

Die Wohnung ist schön und auch sauber. Es sind jedoch mehrere Baustellen in der Nachbarschaft, so dass an ausschlafen oder einen ruhigen Kaffee am Morgen draußen nicht zu denken ist. Leider wurden wir vor Anreise nicht darauf aufmerksam gemacht, obwohl die Restzahlung noch nicht getätigt wurde. Eine Information vorab hätten wir uns gewünscht, dann hätten wir storniert. Vor Ort haben wir bereits versucht dies zu klären. Es wurde uns angeboten, dass wir in der Nebensaison eine Woche umsonst nochmals ein Condo bekommen könnten. Dumm wenn man nicht jedes Jahr nach Mexiko fliegt und diesen Vorschlag nicht annehmen kann. Es gibt ja noch andere Orte, die man sehen möchte

Great location

Stayed for a week at this condo in January. The condo complex is quite small, and when we were there not a lot of folks on site. Location is excellent, a couple of blocks off 5th Avenue, at the north end of 5th. Easy access to all of 5th Avenue, restaurants, shopping, people watching. We walked to retail shopping to buy food for breakfasts for our stay, about 4 blocks. The unit is on the first floor of a four story complex. When we stayed there was construction going on across the street, so not as quiet as we might have liked. The condo itself is a good size for 2 people, and reasonably well equipped. The pool on the roof is great, and not busy, one day we saw another person at the pool, on another day were 2 other folks. The pool is not large, and the deck has room for 4 lounge chairs, and a table with 4 chairs. The second pool, on the main level is small but does have a four lounge chairs. There is a gym on site, a few free weights, bike, treadmill and ecliptical, gym was not busy at all, only saw one other person at the gym when we were there. There is a bike at the condo, however when we arrived the tires were flat so we did not use the bike, would be nice to have an air pump at the condo. There was a guard at the front entrance 24/7 and we always felt safe. 11 o'clock was an early check out, and the property manager was accommodating and allowed us to stay til 1 which worked much better for us. Overall a good stay, good value.

Endroit calme et zen tout prêt de la plage et de l'effervescence de la 5e Avenue de Playa Del Carmen

Superbe condo 1 chambre avec tout ce qui faut pour apprécier Playa Del Carmen. Endroit de qualité, à 10 minutes de marche, empruntant la 38e, une rue bordée de magnifiques arbres centenaires, et superbes resto, vous verrez le lever du soleil sur la plage. De retour, profitez du jardin privé pour prendre votre café en toute quiétude et faire le plein d'énergie. La cuisine vous permet de préparer tous vos repas préférés. Laveuse sécheuse sur place est forts pratique. Les deux piscines et le centre d'entrainement sont fortement appréciés. L'immeuble est à deux pas, tous les services que vous désirez; yoga, médecin, pharmacies, épiceries, banques et d'excellents restos. L'aimable équipe de gestion des lieux pourras répondre à vos questions sur les attraction et expéditions possibles. La sécurité y est présente 24/24. Vous vous trouvez à 5 minutes de marche de la 5e Avenue et 15 minutes du centre nerveux de Playa. Vous y découvrirez l'effervecense du centre ville, Boutiques, Resto-Bar, Dancing, Spectacles, Artistes peintres, etc. Vous pouvez apprécier cet endroit avec ou sans voiture, pour court ou long séjour. Je vous le recommande suite à mon séjour de 10 jours.

Home Away From Home!

Genuinely, Zen Paradise is a home away from home and I will always go back. It is a must stay! Where do I begin!? The condo is very spacious, and has a beautiful energy about it- it is zen and omits happiness. One of the most unique parts of the condo is the terrace garden- I can go on forever about this beautiful view. It has many different herbs, and bambo, but the best part is the flooring which consists of a spiral design of made with stone and crystals. While away I was able to benefit from getting some work done- research, skype calls, etc. It was the terrace garden that made this all possible (not to mention the fastest internet available- never dropped on me once). Some nights I even slept outside on the terrace garden, as there is a magnificent couch that will assume you once you sit down. The condo comes with a washer, dryer, and a dish washer. I was able barbecue and cook some great meals! When traveling to destinations that would require a taxi, this was not an issue as there are about one taxi that drives by every 30 seconds. There is a beautiful TV in both the living room and the main room, amazing washroom, and cozy place to be. I made a few friends while in Playa, and I had them over for sangria and snacks- they commented on how beautiful- both, spiritually and aesthetically- condo is. The terrace garden was perfect to fit everyone, and the speaker system did a great job at getting everyone dancing. Not to mention, the security is great. One of my friends came late, and they did not let him because they did not recognize him, rather they came to verify with me first. Calle 38 is the perfect condo to walk into when going to visit Playa Del Carmen- the location is a five-minute to the beach, and a two-minute walk from 5th Avenue (the strip of boutiques, restaurants, bars, and clubs). The location greatly appealed to me because it was not in the middle of the all the partying, or right on the beach- this allowed for some solitude. To escape I would go to the roof top infinity pool where I was a able to enjoy the breeze, a nice view, and some alone time. This beautiful space appeals to persons of all different ages and interests- it is genuinely a home away from home, and I cannot wait to go back next year!

Bien situé, calme, propre et très joli!

L'endroit est très sécuritaire avec portail fermé et surveillé 24h. À 5 minutes de marche de la plage, seulement à descendre la rue. Le condo est luxueux, bien décoré et propre, terrasse ensoleillée et intime. Piscine à l'intérieur de l'immeuble. J'ai apprécié qu'il soit situé juste en retrait de l'action de Playa ce qui permet la tranquillité tout en étant à courte distance de marche des restaurants et bars. Je le conseille donc et y retournerait sans hésiter à mon prochain passage à Playa!

Confort, calme, confiance et charmant!

Que de beau souvenir agréable dans la facilité même pour le déplacement taxi ou autobus, nous avons bcp aimé les piscines et la mer très accessible et propre.Super accessible ... bars, resto bio, banque et callé 5. Endroit zen pour son decor de bon goût particulièrement aimé les nuits sans bruit car la chambre est bien situé et son patio pour les soirées entre amis je m'y sentais chez moi. Dans notre tournée du Mexique nous n'avons pas tjrs eu ce luxe et comfort pour le même prix.... Je garde cet adresse précieusement . merci encore nous reviendrons l'an prochain.

Exquisite fun convenient bright no brainer wih a great location!

I have had the pleasure in staying here in Playa del Carmen in this brand new superbly equipped condo on Calle 38 for 3 months. It is a one bedroom with a king size bed that is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has all the bells and whistles for you to prepare your meals if you feel the desire too! The living is very nice with comfortable well appointed furniture and an outstanding patio with a Zen Garden! A marvellous oasis in the heart of Playa Del Carmen. If you don't want to go out you can catch a movie on the 55" TV screen! Of course you are less than a 5 minute walk from the restaurants of the "Quinta” better known as 5th avenue! Here you have restaurants of every category and price range from the most expensive to very affordable! For coffees and signature lattes there is just down the street Ah Cacao, Playa Del Carmen's answer to Starbucks at more affordable price!If you prefer Italian style just down Playa.s most beautiful street 38th just before the beach there is Chupi Chupi's. What I like the most is the fact that Calle 38 is in my mind the most beautiful street in Playa Del Carmen, it takes you right down to the Shangri-La beach! The beach here is beautiful and very well maintained with restaurants and bars for drinks on 38th. The other thing I like about this condo is the fact there are 2 swimming pool. The first one is 20 feet from the front door and the 2nd one is a roof top pool as well! Both pools have lounge chairs and tables for comfort and convenience. This condo building is very pleasant with very courteous staff to help or answer your questions. Also you are conveniently close to the major grocery stores on 30 norte where you find the big stores of Mega, Walmart and Soriana! Shopping you have the choice of distinct shops of the 5th avenue or basic shopping in the Walmart and other big box stores.

You private Zen Garden in my property of 400 SF is extremely unique in Playa as space is a premium here...I poured a lot of heart and soul in making it a zen paradise, I hope you will enjoy i as much as I do when I want to escape from cold and icy Canada,...:-)

My condo is ideally located in the heart of the heart of Playa on 38th Street one of the most beautiful streets of Playa. You are only 2 blocks from 5th Avenue (5 minutes walking distance) and 4 blocks from the beach (10 minutes walking distance).There are great restaurants and shopping options all around. The building is very safe and is equipped with a gym and two swimming pools. There are only 30 units in the building which gives it a very boutique style, with privacy, which is unique because on the 38th str (and in many dwellings in Playa ..) all buildings have at least 50 units which drives a large traffic of people and disrupt the tranquility and the intimacy. That's what charmed me in this building and gave me the crush to become owner ... The difference between a big hotel and a boutique hotel ... :-)

For this reason, each guest is charged for their electricity consumption during their stay. This helps make sure you don’t have to pay a higher nightly rate because another guest consumed a lot of electricity. When you arrive at the property, your concierge will take a photo of the electricity meter. They will do the same upon checkout and advise you of the amount owed. The rate applied is of 5.5 pesos per Kilowatt (approx 0.27 USD per KW).
