Banabeki a luxury tropical bungalow near Paramaribo on the Suriname River

A comfortable and attractively furnished Bungalow in a tropical setting on a fenced private area with controlled access and surveillance. This home is suitable for up to 6 people and fully equipped: air conditioning in all bedrooms, incl. Bed linen and linen, cold and hot running water, flat screen TV and fully equipped kitchens. Unique is the open and airy design of the living room and the Surinamese woodwork. The exterior doors of the houses can be opened completely to the spacious terrace, so that you have a beautiful view of the beautiful garden with various exotic trees, plants and flowers.

There is daily Housekeeping, garden staff and a manager present who can support you at all times when necessary.

After an exciting drive down the main road, you will find yourself in paradise as soon as you enter the resort and be greeted by an impressive driveway with stately royal palms on either side, in the middle of an exotic garden with a beautiful pond full of local fish and a shaded pergola where you can chill around the fountain. On both sides you have the various homes that offer sufficient privacy for the various residents. At the end of the driveway you will come across the special Pavilion with our Howler Monkey bar. Here you can enjoy a nice drink and some refreshments with a beautiful view of the still untouched jungle and the Suriname River.

As a resident, you are free to use all the facilities that the resort has at its disposal, such as pedal boats, pedalos, canoes, funboards, sun beds & beach chairs, free wifi and of course our beach on the Suriname River. There is also the possibility to rent bicycles.
The Resort is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for visitors who come to enjoy the beach and the river. In addition, Waterland organizes every Saturday a BBQ, Pasta & Snacks event where you can participate, as well as the now widely known weekly extended Sunday Lunch & buffet.

For sailors, Waterland has a small marina with floating jetties that can accommodate 12 boats, which creates a cozy international and nautical atmosphere.

Marina Resort Waterland is less than an hour away from the bustling bustle of the capital Paramaribo, which can easily be visited by taxi or rented car. All this can be arranged quickly.
In the nearby area there are small and large supermarkets and you can eat deliciously at Domburg at the various Warungs (Javanese eateries).
