Fantastic Beach & Tropical Gardens

Our comfortably furnished Kihei Kai Nani vacation condo will be your home away from home. Located in a lush tropical setting; palms, vibrant flowering trees, and the sweet perfume of plumeria and hibiscus will surround you. Afternoon tradewinds and interior fans keep our condo comfortable year round.

Our condo has just been renovated with new maple kitchen cabinets and a full size shower. Our furnishings are tropical, as is the wall art, and we offer all the amenities of home including a kingsize bed, full size Bosch washer and dryer and a separate AC for the bedroom and living areas. The kitchen is complete with all large and small appliances and plenty of table ware. You will enjoy watching the 42' Samsung Smart TV & DVD player, complete with a DVD film library of old classic films and musicals. Naturally, we provide free cable and fast WiFi. Dine indoors or out on the lanai and enjoy the antics of the many varieties of birds in the nearby trees, or lounge with a good book at Kihei Kai Nani's large beautifully renovated swimming pool. Of course we provide beach chairs, umbrella, towels, and cooler for your beach use.

Don't forget we are a NON-SMOKING RESORT.

Beautiful Kamaole Beach II, only a five minute stroll from our front door, awaits you for a morning swim or snorkel in its warm, blue waters with sea turtles and tropical fish; and at sunset to bask in the glow of a radiant sky while the gentle surf teases you to return for an evening dip, or to take a barefoot walk along the surf-line. In the winter months, humpback whales will entertain you as they frolic in the nearby sea.

Kihei is centrally located for all of Maui's activities. Shopping and restaurants are an easy walk away, and Wailea, the home of elegant resorts and world-class golf courses, is just minutes away by car. The famed Maui ocean center with our acquarium is located in nearby Ma'alaea, where you can also book your whale watching and boat adventures.

Great location, good stay

The best part of this property is the location. Right across from the beach, walkable to so many restaurants. Property has beach amenities. AC is on a timer so as long as we stayed on top of that, the place was cool. Only downside was some harmless ghost ants during our stay, but they didn’t bother us too much.

Great Location

As advertised in pictures, clean and had everything you’d need and more. The a/c units were on 3 hour timers and the bedroom was very warm. We were woken every 3 hours when it shut off and got hot very quickly, not a restful vacation.

Overall okay

Pros: clean, location-close to a beach, some beach gear to use, nice big swimming pool, washer/dryer in the condo, owner was sweet and helpful Cons: Air conditioners are on a 4 hour timer and the bedroom one doesn't work very well, king bed is hard, 3rd floor and no elevators, owner lives right next door so felt like we're being watched

Great Spot

We enjoyed the location and the nearby beach. Condo was as advertised and a great jumping off point for various activities. The kitchen was particularly well done and well stocked!

Lovely condo

The condo was just as depicted by VRBO. Very comfortable and had everything I needed. Wonderful location. Loved being on the third floor but there is no elevator so make sure you can climb stairs. Great exercise for me!

Great location! Nice accommodations. Walk to beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Air conditioner on timed cycle was not convenient when arriving from long days out, however. Unfortunately, Towels had very mildewy smell.

Honeymoon Vacation

We loved staying here, Carole was so pleasant to talk to when booking and before arriving to Hawaii. The lady who oversees the room when she isn’t here, Cindy, was awesome and responds super quick to any problems or questions about the building you have! This property was close to the beach, close to any shops/restaurants AND they really make you feel at home! We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you for making our honeymoon unforgettable!!

Great location!

Good quality furnishings, well stocked kitchen, beach chairs and umbrella were super useful. Great location for beaches and restaurants. Carol was a very responsive host. The lanai felt a bit closed in, but was a great place to relax and watch the sunrise. The only negative was the roosters just outside the lanai, which started crowing around 3 am.

Great Maui Experience

The property is very well situated; close to everything: beach, restaurants, grocery stores, shops... The condo was also very clean with everything included for an extended stay. Very enjoyable experience.

Location Can't Be Better!

Month in paradise

This is a very clean, conveniently located condo. It was so well equipped and made it easy to cook in if you preferred. On the other hand, it is close to many good restaurants and food trucks. It is close to several great beaches, and the pool is great too! We loved it!!

Lovely condo in great location

My sister and I had a lovely stay at Carole’s condo. Her place is comfortable and nicely decorated with everything we needed. A very short walk to a beautiful beach and tons of shops and restaurants. We explored so much of Maui from there and her grandson Vinnie was full of wonderful suggestions that made our trip even better!

Honeymoon in Maui

My husband and I loved staying at this property! It was comfortable, relaxing, and had everything we could need for our trip. It was also incredibly close to the beach and lots of little restaurants and shops. Everything within walking distance! Carole was easy to communicate with and always so friendly :) we loved staying here. Thank you for everything!

Peaceful stay on Maui

We had a wonderful time during our stay! Everything about this place worked perfectly for us -- the location was quiet and peaceful, and just a short walk from a gorgeous beach. The AC and ceiling fans were hugely appreciated on the warm evenings. It was so nice to wake up to the birdsong in the trees outside the window. We'd stay here again!

Lovely Condo

Centrally located in Kihei, right across from the Kamaole beaches! Made it perfect to catch sunrise and sunset on the beach, and easy to drive around and hit other spots like Wailea, Kaanapali, and Makena. Clean, cute, comfortable with great amenities.

Will Stay Here Again!

Excellent communication with Carole. Location was perfect. Right across from the beach. The unit is at the end of the complex which made it quiet and peaceful. Unit was very well stocked. There was nothing we ever needed. It was roomy and comfortable. The lanai was private and peaceful. Water pressure was strong and hot water was plentiful. The weather was hot so two ACs were helpful. Beach chairs were good quality. Washer and dryer worked great. Everything was perfect. Only wish is that the unit was cleaner, but we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot in the heart of town

We had such a great stay here, we found the location perfect and most of our favorite eateries were within walking distance which was a huge plus. We loved that the condo was at the end of the neighborhood so it was peaceful and quiet and not right on the road in the hustle and bustle. Just a quick 1 min walk down and you're in everything. Beautiful comfortable condo that met all our needs and more. Thanks again Carole!

Perfect

While this is not a luxury suite, it was perfect for how we wanted to spend our time in Maui. We spent the our time mostly on the go. Neighbours are quiet except roosters will wake you up early. Sun came up early and set early so the rooster wake up call was nice. If you like to sleep in, you're going to miss out on precious daylight. Pool is nice when you get tired of the ocean. Harmless geckos can be seen on the balcony and walking around but they are not inside. In-suite laundry was nice, didn't have to pack as many clothes. Has air conditioning units in the main living room and the bedroom. Balcony view is just trees. Not exciting but is very private. Most importantly, the host was very accomodating. I had forgotten she had emailed me check-in instructions and I ended up calling her. Not realizing it was 3 AM for her, she still picked up the call and helped us out. She checked in and asked if everything was going well. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful spot in Maui!

Loved everything about this rental. The apartment included all of the conveniences - well stocked kitchen, good ventilation, comfortable bed, beautiful lanai - and was well located.

My dear husband, Lothar, passed away December 3, 2020, on his 85th birthday. We were married 62 years. Lothar was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and I was born in Brooklyn, NY, but we both spent our early years in Los Angeles, and went to UCLA. We moved to San Francisco in 1967, where Lothar worked for the City, and I taught high school English and history, and was also a librarian and community college instructor. We are blessed with 2 wonderful sons, daughter-in-laws, and 6 fantastic grandchildren. Eric is an educator, with gorgeous twin girls, and Kris, is an architect, with 3 surfing sons and a beautiful surfing daughter. We split our year between CA and HI, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends in both places. We loved traveling to far-away places and traveled extensively. In Maui, we ocean swam and snorkeled every morning at our lovely Kamaole 2 Beach, just across the road. We also enjoyed water aerobics and long beach walks, especially at sunset. I love to cook and entertain family and friends in Maui and San Francisco. We both loved to read, watch good films, and listened to both classical and folk music- especially if we could sing along! We made our first trip to Hawaii in 1975 and decided it was where we wanted our vacation home. After we retired, we spent most of the year in Hawaii enjoying its beauty, the beaches, the weather and the wonderful Aloha spirit of the people.

We bought our KaiNani condo in 1984 on our first visit to Maui. We fell in love with the beautiful gardens, fabulous Kamaole beaches and the warm aloha feeling on the property. KaiNani really is like a small village. People here really care about their environment and neighbors. We are located in the rear of the resort, so we have complete privacy and are surrounded by beautiful tropical trees and plants. Our grandchildren have grown up visiting us here and love "our" beach and pool. We can't imagine a better vacation for them (or us).

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We hope you'll enjoy dining on our lanai, watching our visiting birds and geckos and enjoying the beautiful blossoms of every hue, as well as the tropical scents they send to remind you that Maui no ka oi! (Maui is the best!). Our winter guests have the added benefit of watching hump back whales blowing and leaping right from our Kamaole beaches. And every sunset will be spectacular and unique. You will never grow tired of seeing the beauty that nature provides.
