Boats boats boats

We loved staying here. Great views over the bay to Vis Town and watching boats of all shapes and sizes arriving and departing. Lovely swimming minutes from apartment. The situation is good for restaurants and bars. Well appointed with comprehensive information both pre arrival and in the apartment. We found it excellent.

Lovely apartment

This is an impeccably appointed and renovated apartment attached to a larger villa, with a private balcony and view. The photos do not do it justice. Location is perfect you are a short walk (down some steep steps), to swimming, shops and restaurants. Beautiful island and lovely hosts as well.

Thankyou for this lovely review. We’re glad you and your family enjoyed the apartment with its super views. We agree it’s a great spot, just above the quayside which has restaurants and shops, but far enough away to be quiet. We always point out to guests that they have to take two flights of village steps to get down to the quayside so it’s not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. However, you don’t have to choose the quick way with the steeper steps. There is a flights of shallow steps which just takes a minute longer. Just thought I’d mention…! Hope to see you again.

Great time on the Island of Vis!

It was simply the most perfect stay. Everything easy, from check in to check out. The neighborhood of Kut is charming and a short walk to anything you could want and need. We watched the boats come in and out of the bay from our terrace and the house is situated for the perfect sunset nightly. There are stairs everywhere, so beware if you cannot manage them, yet, for us the charm of the area was the terraced neighborhood. Good food, lovely apartment and beauiful Island. We will be back!

Thankyou for emphasising that Vis has a lot of stone steps in its villages as it’s quite a hilly island. We make it clear that the island isn’t suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Return to Vis

We love Vis and we loved this apartment. It has, as others have said, the most stunning of vistas around the bay. We felt at home and very welcomed by Jan and Mike. My husband ran every morning, to Fort George and beyond, and finished with a dip in the sea just metres from the house. Everything is close at hand, we didn't need a car. We collected breakfast from the bakery. We walked to the rocks, swam, snorkelled and watched the boats sailing by. We enjoyed the restaurants, ate the fish and drank the local wine. The apartment was perfect for us. It was light and bright and very clean. It had everything we needed. It was quiet and relaxing and we enjoyed our time on the terrace, never tiring of that wonderful view. We know we will return, again ... and again. Thank you Jan and Mike.

Absolute bliss

From booking to check in and check out everything worked perfectly. The apartment was beautiful and immaculately clean. A few steps to the harbour for groceries, fresh bread and wonderful restaurants. Can't wait to return!

A few drawbacks to be honest

Well appointed apartment as advertised. Location wasn't a real problem for us but could be for some people. Rather far from the ferry. Needs a taxi. Requires lots of walking, many steps wherever way you go. Not the cheapest. Caretaker was helpful in getting us established.

Lovely attention to detailing in the finishing and thoughtfully equipped. Privacy has been very well designed into the overall layout and we really enjoyed our stay The owners were very helpful in ensuring arrival arrangements met with our travel plans

Absolutely Stunning! Breathtaking views and modern interior

My boyfriend and I stayed in the apartment of villa jasmine. I can safely say this has been our best experience of staying at a homeaway or airbnb property. Jan was the perfect host and helped answer any questions before and during our stay, I got the feeling that she really cared that we enjoyed ourselves. The property is located in the loveliest part of Vis town and is a short distance to the nicest restaurants. The apartment has amazing views over the bay from all room of the property. The terrace is big enough to sunbathe and also has a dining area, it gets the sun from the early afternoon right through to the evening when you can watch the sunset. The apartment was very modern inside and cleaned to an immaculate standard, it had everything from beach towels to super powerful aircon. In fact the bedroom was so airy and spacious with a huge bed I slept better than at home. Vis itself is a stunning island and a place I expect will get more and more popular. The beaches are picturesque, the food is great and so is the wine! We will definitely be back!!

A perfect apartment situated in a stunning location on Vis

The Jasmine apartment was absolutely perfect for our week long stay on Vis. It is beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard. The rooms are well proportioned and the shower was fabulous! The balcony is spacious and gives stunning views over the bay. We'd often eat breakfast and lunch at the apartment as it was hard to find any cafes/restaurants to rival the beautiful view and tranquil location. The apartment is situated in Kut so is nearby to a range of great restaurants and a beautiful beach. We've already decided we'd love to return to Vis and after exploring the Island we'd definitely return to Kut and would love to stay at the apartment again! Jan was very helpful in the run up to our holiday and was happy to answer questions. We were fortunate to meet Jan and Mike as the end of their holiday overlapped with the start of ours. They were friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations to make sure we could make the most of our trip. Would highly recommend Jasmine apartment.

Amazing House on the Perfect Island

I can't say enough about my stay on Vis. We were blown away by the house, which is recently renovated and just has all the perfect little details. However, the best part to me were the amazing views and the outside areas to eat and drink. My stay on Vis was just perfect.

A great property--highly recommend!

My partner and I stayed in the Jasmine apartment, which is totally separate from the house and very private. What a treat! Everything was brand new and worked perfectly, from the clothes washer and dryer, to the A/C, to the shower and bathroom facilities. The apartment was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable, and the views from inside the apartment and our private deck were awesome! I also loved the easy access to the two mile walking trail at the bottom of the property. Within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafes, a bakery, and a produce shop. I highly recommend the apartment!
