Holiday cottage situated in Sørbøvåg, way out west with the open sea, close to the mouth of Sognefjorden. Sørbøvåg is a quiet and charming village with approx. 200 inhabitants. The house has comfortable beds, a fantastic panoramic view of the fjord, modern, pleasant and practical furnishing, and peace and quiet. private sauna for 3-4 people. Storage room under the staircase of the house. A new extension by the entrance has benches, where you can hang your clothes to dry. The cottage is a row house connected with two other cottages, but there is space between them and partition walls between the terraces. You will be undisturbed with little noise from the neighbours. This house is furthest to the west. 1st floor is wheelchair accessible. On the 2nd floor you can turn the single beds into a double. The house is heated with hydronics. The owner is renting out boats, where you can choose between 18-24 ft and 25-150 hp motors. You will find sonars, Garmin 526s chartplotters and 6 rod holders on all boats. You can fuel up by the dock. Drying cabinet in the storage room with heated floors and running water where you can store your fishing equipment. 50 meters to the reception with staff that speaks German and English. A new indoor fish cleaning room with freezer. Bikes and kayaks are at your disposal if they are vacant. Enjoy relaxing biking or kayaking excursions by the fjord, where you also have good fishing conditions. There are approx. 100 signed hiking trails in the area, and if you ascend a mountain top, you have a spectacular view of the sea and its numerous islands. Hiking the unique mountain Lihesten, visible from the house, is recommended. Island hopping in Solund is a popular day excursion. Follow the "postal route" and get off wherever you want. If you would just like to relax at your holiday house, you can enjoy the panoramic view either from inside or outside. Take a deep breath of the fresh, salty air from the sea. Approx. 100 meters from the holiday house, you will find a fine, small bathing spot with toilet, barbecue, benches and tables. The bed linen package also includes towels. Kayaks are free. NB!
