Boasting fantastic views and located in West Pentire, Kittiwake is a well decorated two bedroom cottage in a great location.
Kittiwake is one of the three Seaspray cottages based in West Pentire. The two-bedroom cottage boasts fantastic views over the Goose Rock to the Newquay coast, perfect to look at whilst enjoying your breakfast on the patio.
The living area of the cottage has been recently renovated to create an open-plan living/dining and kitchen area, which is light and airy with modern coastal decor. The cottage is decorated in neutral tones with splashes of colour in each room to give it a fresh, contemporary feel. Although not completely on one level, Kittiwake is still suitable for guests who can manage a few stairs, as the staircase is not very big.
The Seaspray cottages are a five-minute walk from Crantock Beach and about the same to Polly Joke (Porth Joke) Beach, making it a family or surfers haven. A few minutes' walk away is a pub, serving food and drink with the same fantastic view, as well as a cafe/bistro offering brunch, lunch and dinner, as well as coffees and cream teas. Crantock village is only a five-minute drive away, where there are two more pubs, a Londis grocery store, post office and other village attractions.
Outside Kittiwake, guests will benefit from exclusive use of a patio and lawned area that boasts views over Crantock Bay.
Amenities: LPG fired central heating by radiators to every room. Well-equipped kitchen including NEFF double oven and induction hob, washer/dryer and dishwasher. TV, DVD, Hi-fi system, WiFi. Two well behaved pets welcome. Pub 5 minutes walk, shop and further pubs 5 miles away. Fuel and Power inc. in the rent. Cot and highchair available. Sorry, no smoking. Included in the rental price is bed linen for each bed that has been booked and a shower mat for each shower or bath, each guest is also provided with a bath and hand towel - Guests must provide their own beach towels. Parking for 1 car. Garden with furniture. Note: Check in is from 4pm. Note: There is a £40 charge per pet. Note: Sorry, no hen, stag parties or similar. Note: The owners have advised us of re-development works that are taking place at Goose Rock Hotel (a neighbouring property) until Summer 2019, they have been assured by the owners of Goose Rock that any impact to guests will be kept to an absolute minimum.

Town: Crantock is a small Cornish village, set back from the coast, close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the North to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, as well as National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.

Super Property.
We are very familiar with the area but this is the first time we’ve stayed at Kittiwake.
The property is excellent in every way, spotlessly clean, bright and cheerful, well appointed, well equipped, and in a superb position affording a fine view of the sea and instant access to the coast path, headland and beaches.
The lady who managed our stay was most helpful and we encountered not a single problem during the time we were there. We have booked to return later this year. 10/10.
One minor observation for dog owners, the garden has no gate.
