Large apartment ideal for couples and families looking for a special place.
In one of the most wonderful corners of the Mediterranean, it is worth visiting at least once in a lifetime: the magical residential complex of Cap Sa Sal.
Built on a cliff, it is said that in the 60s it was the most glamorous hotel in Europe, and it hosted movie and music stars and other celebrities from around the world.
The apartment, renovated and newly decorated by the interior designer Pía Capdevila, has 200m2 on 2 floors. Bright, elegant, with an unbeatable location and stunning sea views.
The main floor offers the feeling of being on a cruise, but on the mainland: without obstacles between us and the sea:
- An equipped kitchen, breakfast area with bar for 4 people,
- a full bathroom with shower
- and a large dining room and living room surrounded by balconies with stunning views of the Mediterranean and the gardens. Large format flat screen TV and international satellite channels.
On the upper floor we can find 3 rooms:
- The master suite, with dressing room and bathroom. Seeing sunrise over the sea from the bed is undoubtedly an unforgettable memory.
- A spacious room with a bunk bed in L and a trundle bed (4 single beds in total) and a study area for 3 people.
- A games room with a sofa bed and TV and a full bathroom, which can also be used as a third room as long as the maximum occupancy of the apartment does not exceed 6 people.
The common areas are splendid.
The Hall welcomes us: a large room with a grand piano, sofas and small tables next to the windows, where guests can enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and the Medes Islands, as well as piano and jazz concerts and some activities for children in July and August. Next to the Hall, a curious library and TV room.
Outside, beautiful gardens originally designed by landscape architect Rubió i Tudurí, based on pine trees, aloe, rosemary, palm trees and dracaena, dotted with wooden benches where you can sit and relax.
Right next to the sea, a beautiful salt water pool with waterfall. Right there, a bar that serves breakfast, sandwiches, salads, snacks and drinks during the summer.
And around, various rock spaces with sunbeds for sunbathing, from which you can access the sea with metal stairs.
In order to entertain children, there is also a playground with swings and slides for the little ones, and a mini golf course and plenty of outdoor space to explore for the elderly.
In addition to a social area that includes a movie theater, an entertainment area equipped with a table tennis and table football, and a gym.
There is also a reception where you can request and deliver fresh bread and press from the local bakery every morning.
The complex offers free wi-fi for guests.
And right next to the entrance there is a small Relais du Silence Hotel, which offers a restaurant and a lounge bar with pleasant views.
Cap sa sal is located in a strategic enclave: in an oasis of calm on the seafront, but at the same time only 4.2km from Begur, and in the heart of the Costa Brava.
Girona airport offers connections to multiple international destinations, including Birmingham, Blackpol, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Coventry, Doncaster Sheffield, Dublin, Durham Tee Valley, East Midlands, Glasgow, Glasgow Prestwick, Liverpool, London Gatwick. The operating companies are: Thomson flights, Ryanair and Avro.
The companies of Britishairways, Easyjet, Iberia and Monarch operate at the Barcelona Airport.
We can find restaurants and a host of charming places, on foot (via local trails and round roads) or after a short drive: Aiguafreda, Sa Tuna, Sa Riera, Aiguablava ... and of course the fantastic medieval city of Begur and its wide gastronomic and shopping offer.
Its central location makes it a perfect starting point for excursions throughout the Costa Brava and Empordà (Empúries, Figueres, Girona, Calella, Llafranc, Tamariu ...).
