Quit area with excellent view
This was a renovated second floor apartment in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of the bay. The apartment was very clean, had a comfortable bed, and adequate kitchen equipment to make breakfast and simple meals. We were advised not to leave food out due to ants, but as soon as a food item was on the counter there was the presence of ants. The access to the place was a challenge. There was only taxi service from the Ferry to the Police station which left a good 15 to 20 minute walk to the apartment, with flights of old stone steps at the church and flights of steps at the apartment. We greatly appreciated Phillip meeting us at the church to help us with our luggage up the several flights of stair cases, orienting us to the island, and the complimentary homemade wine.
