A little further on, Burnham Overy Staithe offers a picturesque quay with sailing boats and scenic coastal walks leading to a wide sandy beach. During the summer months, a small ferry runs across to Scolt Head Island, and there are also opportunities to enjoy longer boat trips along the coast.

Within easy reach are the expansive sandy beaches at Wells and Holkham, as well as the impressive Holkham Hall estate with its beautiful parkland and wide open spaces. Two well behaved dogs are welcome. The garden is private but not completely secure.
