Two wood-burning fireplaces, one in the kitchen and one in the living room provide the perfect ambiance and warmth for a crisp Northwoods morning. Sweeping lake views can be seen from almost every room. Just steps away is a lakefront guest house with one bedroom, one full-bath, and fully-equipped kitchenette as well as a lower level bunk room. Crystal Lake is a small private lake with no public access. It offers terrific swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Guests of “The North Forty” have often referred to it as “a little piece of paradise.” Sleeping up to 8, "The North Forty" is a wonderful setting for family reunions, couples trips, girlfriend outings, fishing/hunting trips and summer vacations.
