Thank you for your feedback Colin and I am disappointed to hear that your experience didn't meet with your expectations. Regarding the blackout blinds and towels this season I have a new cleaner and she is still getting familiar with the apartment, I will see that she gets additional training to ensure this does not happen again. I am happy though that all the Venetian blinds were working! The plastic covering is a safety feature to protect children from sharp corners. However, it may not be to everyone's taste. I understand there is traffic noise this is because of the great location near the High Street! Most guests feel this negative outweighs the positive as they can walk to boutique’s, quaint coffee shops, and restaurants! It can indeed get busier on weekends; however, I’d like to point out that weekdays are generally much quieter. It's worth noting that you stayed over a weekend and left on Monday, which unfortunately did not give you the full experience of Lymington’s quieter atmosphere during the week. I also noticed that there were a significant number of empty beer cans in the recycling bin, which suggested that you may have enjoyed some drinks during your stay and I am so glad you felt comfortable enough to make yourselves at home. I appreciate your honesty but I do want to respectfully point out that some of the comments made in your review seem exaggerated and unfair. Many of our guests have thoroughly enjoyed their stays with us and have left 5-star reviews.
