Breathtaking Views Holiday House with Heat and or Air conditioning System

A beautiful fully equipped holiday home, built in 2005 and located in an attractive village situated in the south west of the island. Accomodation recently upgraded with modern furniture, comprising 2 + 1 bedrooms, all bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms, kitchen and dining room. Children are welcome. We have a cot, high chair etc. All rooms and bedrooms have large glass patio doors with access on to balconies where one can enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains, ocean views and sunsets.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this place on Madeira. The hosts were lovely and very helpful, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about their guests and wanted us to feel at home.The house is very well equipped with everything you might need (and more), which is especially helpful given luggage limits when flying.Calling the view breathtaking is definitely not an exaggeration. We loved being able to sit outside on the balcony or inside in the sunroom and still fully enjoy it.We would love to come back.

5 Weeks in Madeira

We stayed 5 weeks at this fabulous house wanting for nothing, everything you can want for is available with stunning views . The host Jose is first class with communications etc. I highly recommend this host and her property. We had the perfect stay and will be returning.

Great location

Sunset views are amazing. The a/c was nice. Did not need to go to grocery store for any of the little things used everyday. Will definitely rebook and will encourage friends to also.

Perfection

This beautiful property and view was one of the best places we have ever rented. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable and just enjoying the view was a highlight of our trip to Madeira. The hosts have thought of everything and were quick to respond to any questions with great advice. Perfect stay and we loved being away from the hustle and bustle of Funchal.

Perfect stay in Arco di Calheta

We had perfect vacation in this house. The house is equipped with everything you need. The house is absolutely clean and calm. A great kitchen, a nice dining area, confortable living room, nice bath- and sleeping rooms. The view to the ocean is fantastic. If available, we would book this house once again.

Awesome View

An eclectic mix of decor inside this house makes it very relaxing, warm, and comfortable……especially the beds!The hosts could not have been more attentive. No request of them was ignored. They were very accommodating.The enclosed sunroom with complete windows was a very important feature for us……on a high clifff in the region with gorgeous and most interesting views.Stay here and enjoy immensely would be our assessment.

Amazing

We had a brilliant 2 week stay at the villa. The views from the balconies were amazing both day and night. The house was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need! The beds were extremely comfortable. The house is up a windy road and you do have to park on the road but we had no issues at all. Thank you!

Big house way up on the hill

Big place with big kitchen. Everything we needed. But, Had to park on the steep road overnight. Sewer smell in bathrooms probably due to no heating there. Overall a very nice stay! We would stay there again for sure

Wishing I could’ve stayed longer!

This house was more spacious than I imagined. It was located in a beautiful area, with a magnificent view of the lower levels and the sea. It was fully stocked with anything and everything you could possibly need on a vacation. Some day I’d love to return. Thanks

We spent a wonderful holiday in this holiday home, which is really equipped with everything. At the end of October we were able to sit in the open conservatory or outside on the terrace a few times, with an indescribable view. We were out and about during the day, which is almost a shame. The two of us only had 1 bedroom, there is room for at least 5 people. See you soon Madeira LG from Berlin

Beautiful home with spectacular views

This is a truly beautiful property with phantastic views over the village and ocean. We felt at home from the minute we arrived and would have loved to stay longer. The house is perfectly maintained and offers everything you can think of. Modern furniture, lots of space, large balconies and a very well equipped kitchen which is far above average make this home a very special place and certainly one of the best holiday homes we have ever rented. Our special thanks go to the very friendly landlord Rosa. We will try to come back soon.

Thank you very much Rosa, for making our stay in your house possible. It is an excellent home and a perfect location, and a wonderful place to relax. Rosa was an excellent hostess, and would thoroughly recommend this house to anyone whether it be a couple or a family. Beautiful views but too cold in winter

We stayed 9 nights in this house. PRO * Magnificent views from all the rooms (Arco de Calheta and sea) * Very friendly hostess * Spacious and well-equipped CONTRA * Too cold inside the house, we had to carry around an electric heater to keep warm * The bed in the master bedroom is very uncomfortable, hard with springs

Fountain of Youth

This home in Arco de Calheta is the perfect location if you're looking for a beautiful, affordable place to unwind after an active day. First, the house is beautiful. The views are magnificent. The home is completely stocked with everything you'll need to enjoy your stay. It serves as a great hub to explore the best parts of the island. If you're an active person looking for hiking, sunrise viewing, swimming in natural pools, and other adventures, you will find all that within reach. To be fair, this is not "Club Med" You will need to rent a car (this is my personal opinion, as there is a reputable taxi service available.) Driving here takes some getting used to. There are many steep hills, narrow roads, and hairpin turns. Parking anywhere on the island can be challenging, but if you get going early, you'll have no problem. All that said, I should mention that I'm 70 years old. This place is like a fountain of youth. You can go all day, return to a beautiful home, take a hot bath, then sit out on the deck with a glass of wine and enjoy an awesome sunset. Maybe feel like a young person again.

It was really worth it.

We had a wonderful week here unfortunately the sun was not always shining…but, it was really worth it. This yellow house is everything it says on the website, it was an absolute delight, spotlessly clean with fresh decor, furnished to a very high standard and had absolutely everything we needed. It's all you could ever ask for and more in a holiday house is not a house is a home. It's so close to all the shops, bars, marina and the beach. Rosa is the most helpful person you could wish for, nothing is too much trouble and she provide the best information pack you will ever need and he is always ready to help via email if you have any questions. So if you want a good base for touring or a quiet space to recharge your batteries, surfing, sailing, cycling, walking or doing nothing this really is the place to come. We have never stayed in a place where the minute you walk through the door you feel so at home except here. Our best accommodation experience ever! We're happy to endorse your place, it really is luxurious and we'd be pleased to stay there again. So go on, get booking straight away - book early to avoid disappointment. Thank you for all the thing prepared for us in the house, especially in the kitchen the Madeira wine, cake, juice, milk, herbs, etc… Best wishes and see you next visit to Madeira Jean & Family G.

Magnifique expérience!

Nous sommes ravis de notre expérience. La maison est tout à fait conforme à la description, elle est spacieuse, propre, la vue sur l'océan est magnifique dans le cadre idyllique de Madère, que demander de plus... À notre arrivée, nous avons pu bénéficier d'une délicate attention, soit une bouteille de vin. Nous étions ravis de partir explorer l'île chaque matin et heureux de revenir dans le confort et le calme de cette maison en fin de journée pour relaxer en dégustant "vin et tapas" tout en admirant la beauté de la vue du soleil couchant sur la mer. Tolles Haus, alles super

Wir haben uns in diesem bestens ausgestatteten und sehr sauberen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Die Betten sind prima. Die Vermieterin ist immer sofort zu erreichen, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage auf der Insel ist wirklich prima. Man kann sehr schnell viele Wanderungen erreichen, man ist in relativ kurzer Zeit in Funchal, aber dennoch abseits des Großstadtrubels. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dorthin fahren. -Bezogen auf einige vorige Bewertungen möchte ich noch einiges richtigstellen: Ja, es stimmt. tagsüber kann man die Autos aus dem Dorf hören, aber es ist nicht vielbefahren, sondern ganz normal. Das Haus selbst liegt an einer Sackgasse, und da es etwas tiefer liegt, hört man da praktisch nichts.Nachts ist es sehr ruhig, bis auf die üblichen Hunde und Hähne. Mit geschlossenem Fenster hört man diese gar nicht. Alle Räume sind über die Klimaanlagen sehr gut und einstellbar zu beheizen.Und die Sonne kommt zwar erst nachmittags herum, aber das Haus ist ab morgens durch die vielen Fenster sehr hell.

Toller Ausblick, tolle Ausstattung

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem Haus. Der Blick ist wirklich wunderschön. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man sich wünscht. Die Selbstversorgung fällt nicht schwer, denn es ist alles vorhanden. Parkmöglichkeit auf der Straße nach der ortsüblichen Methode. Auto sollte vorhanden sein. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen leckeren Wein und Bananen, die dort ja überall wachsen und einfach toll schmecken. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr gut über Email bzw. Fewo-App und es wurde sehr schnell reagiert, wenn Fragen auftauchten.

Tolle Wohnung mit mega comfort

Wunderschöne Wohnung mit mega Wintergarten und toller Aussicht. Super Ausstattung, super bequeme Betten und tolle Bäder. Alles vorhanden für den Start in eine tolle Woche. Supermarkt paar Minuten entfernt mit Bistro zum Essen, ganz günstig mitzunehmen wenn man zu faul zum Kochen ist. Guter Ausgangspunkt für den Westteil der Insel. Kommen bestimmt wieder.
