There is a horse/pony riding school within walking distance & along the way is the ford - an ancient Roman crossing ideal for summer paddling- & the river footbridge, which is popular with fishing enthusiasts. A beautiful water mill sits on one of the walking trails, where a picnic can be enjoyed at the river's bank.
