Secluded cabin in the woods

My son's wedding was at Pebble Creek Farms and having this cabin was great because my the whole family could stay together in one spot. It was roomy , super clean and very peaceful.

Awesome property!

My husband and I fell in love with this cabin. The location feels secluded and there was so much room for us to gather and play games, etc...beds were very comfortable and check out was a breeze. We will definitely be staying again!

Cousin's Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at The Roost. Hiking at Pickle Springs, then wineries in the afternoon. Loved that we could drive to 3 wineries less than 2 miles from the house.

Coworker Retreat

This place was amazing!! We all had our own space, plenty of room to work and plenty of space for fun. The hot tub was the best and everything needed was there. Would highly recommend staying here. It was so close to the wineries!

Family Wedding

We had a family wedding at Pebble Creek Farm, just 6 miles away from The Roost. Ten of us including aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews had plenty of room at the house to get ready for the wedding, and to gather for snacks and games in the kitchen afterwards. Everything was really clean and comfortable. We would love to come back here and stay for a winery weekend!

We absolutely loved the cabin & the deck & hot tub was so relaxing. This caving is beautiful and the host was there for us if we needed them. The wrap around porch is lovely. We all really enjoyed our stay during a wedding weekend! Great place for a girls weekend, wedding party etc. thanks again for letting stay in your beautiful cabin 😊

Wonderful country cabin and setting

The house was amazing and beautiful. The quiet of the country and nature was perfect. The home has stairs both upstairs and to the basement which was not an issue for us, but just noting this for others that stairs might be difficult. We will stay again, if we come back to the area.

Well located for vineyards. Very clean perfectly described Excellent communication with owner Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, we were a group of 10 Everyone easily accommodated and everyone loved the cabin. So very impressive

Beautiful wine country getaway

Me and a group of friends really loved this place. Enough beds for everyone to be comfortable and lots of seating and common area for us all to gather to eat and drink! And very nice to have 3 bathrooms with all the ladies. We sat on the covered porch to have our coffee to the sounds of a rooster and the cows. Recommend Crown Valley winery- just 6 minutes away!

Lovely, peaceful cabin

This was a perfect cabin for our family weekend. The cabin is clean and comfortable. There are many small, charming details. The doors and stairs add to the rustic feel of the home. The owner and his adorable helpers were there to greet us, but then gave us privacy. I am sure this will not be our last visit, as everyone loved the cabin. I highly recommend it for anybody staying in this area.

Wedding Bliss

My entire family stayed at this beautiful house the weekend of our daughter's wedding at Charleville Brewery & Winery. It was literally 6 minutes from the venue which allowed for easy commute to and from the Winery. We made breakfast Sunday morning before we headed out and there was everything we needed (besides the food, of course). Thank you for providing such a great house at a great location!

Sibling wine trip

We had a group of nine including five siblings and their spouses. The house had lots of room and the beds were very comfortable. Very close to the wineries where we had dinner at Chaumette. The only small complaint was that the queen bed upstairs was on the smaller side and could almost be considered as full.

Girls Weekend 8/23/19 - 8/25/19

Everything was very nice. The place was really cozy and decorated really cute. We had a great time. I did not realize there would be no WIFI or local television channels. With all females with us, we just felt uneasy without access to cell service or a landline telephone.

Wonderful Escape!

We met my brother's and their wives for a couples weekend and this cabin was just perfect for the 6 of us. Gabe kept the outdoor furnace fueled and the cabin was nice and cozy. We had absolutely everything that we needed and just had to worry about bringing our clothes! The grounds are beautiful as well as the cabin. I would love to go back and enjoy a weekend writing or doing some photography, but is also the perfect place to curl up with a book or movie.

My son stayed there (as a gift from me) with some of his fellow 2025 highschool graduates. So I cant give personal witness. It is now 12:30pm on (11am) check out day.. hes now back in our area and I called him to ask (if he cleaned up and did his dishes etc…? for one) but also to ask how it was was it good “yes” and “thank you, again” that’s about it (which is his normal teenage hard to get a rise of excitment out - verbally) and what simple yes I personally know to equal - an unspoken- OMGosh it was great! So much fun! Thank you, hosts!

Beautifull & Relaxing

Gabe and his wife are awesome to work with! We had 10 ladies together for a wine weekend. The Roost was all and more than we could ask for. The Roost is huge! Plenty of room for us all to be able to relax either in the house or out on the wrap around porch. So very peacefull. Had everything that we needed. A little drive to find a restuarant, but we didn't mind because we liked being out of the busy, noisy city. If you are looking for a nice large home out of the hustle and bustle of the city, this is for you.

Perfect Cabin for Girls Weekend!

Talk about impressive. Spacious (all of us had our own rooms), Pac Man game in the living room, huge hot tub on the deck, big kitchen table to play games (we played cards til 2am). And only five minutes from Chaumette! dinner and wine there, then games and hot tub. The attention to detail from the owners is much appreciated. The lights fixtures, the comfy couches, the coffee, etc. etc. Gabe even brought us a bag of ice when we ran out. Perfection!

Perfect location along the St Gen winery trail!

Our group of seven girlfriends thoroughly ENJOYED our stay at The Roost! This was the ultimate glamping experience for us. The cozy cabin has a ton of room to spread out, but also the perfect gathering areas for us to relax and catch up. The wraparound porch was one of our favorite spots to relax and look out at the beautiful scenery while, enjoying the quiet, unless you count the loudness of our laughter! The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were spotless and it was a bonus to find so many little amenities that some of us left at home: like Q-tips, cotton balls, and mints by our bedside. To top it off, when our trolley driver canceled at the last minute, Jamie and Gabe stepped in and became our personal chauffeur for the day - SIMPLY AMAZING!!! We highly recommend The Roost.

Wonderful winter get away

We had a friends trip planned to hike on Hawn state park and then stay in this cabin. Weather didn’t work out for hiking but the host of the property recommended wineries and restaurants within five minutes of the property. We had a great time visiting these locations. The property was so big and nice and clean! There were 5 bedrooms but also an additional bed and couch were available for extra space to sleep. We had a low key friend hang out. There were games and dvds at the property. Also the checkout instructions were so reasonable. I’ve stayed places before where I had to wash all the sheets and towels and fold and put away etc. This venue had instructions that were very reasonable. Such a wonderful place to stay! Highly recommend!
