Just Ok

This cottage is in a nice location, with views across a beautiful valley and hillside with pastureland and wooded forests. Our stay in mid-autumn was bolstered by an excellent fireplace with a generous wood and firestarter supply. The furnishings are plain and worn. Some areas of the cottage were not completely clean. The bedrooms are well separated, which suits a two-couple situation, and the bedding was very comfortable. Overall, the condition and furnishings of the cottage was very average, to below the standard that I have experienced in many other cottages in the UK in past years as a visitor from the USA. The proximity to some of the best areas in the Cotswolds as well as nice country walks, was excellent. Also, the cottage and its surroundings were very peaceful and quiet. Cotswold Gem

Hidden down a flower edged gravel drive, this delightful cottage has a picture perfect position overlooking countryside hills. Though not a large cottage, each room is well proportioned with two large bedrooms at either end of the building and a well sized living room with a functional inglenook log fireplace. We loved the attention to detail throughout the property, it feels like you live there, rather than you’re in someone else’s house! An attractive courtyard garden with a comfortable dining table is a perfect spot to enjoy the birdsong and scenery. Daniel & Fern

Beautiful Cottage and Location

Apple Cottage is in a wonderful location and provided an excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds. The patio and garden are particularly attractive and were a lovely place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there were a few areas where the cottage did not quite meet our expectations. We were disappointed that there was no welcome hamper on arrival, particularly after a long journey from California. The cleanliness could also have been better—the dishwasher still contained dirty dishes when we arrived. The kitchen was generally well equipped but would benefit from some attention to the utensils, particularly sharper knives. The cottage itself is comfortable and charming, and with a little more attention to housekeeping and maintenance, it would provide an even better guest experience. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay, and we would certainly recommend it for its excellent location and beautiful outdoor space.

This was our second time staying at Apple Cottage and we loved it just as much as the first! It’s absolutely gorgeous both in location and interiors. The host has thought of everything to make guests’ stays perfect. We will be back again!

These pictures can be believed! Absolutely gorgeous setting, and a charming cottage in a tiny but beautiful Cotswold village. Spotless and warm...I would love to go back again and again.

Apple Cottage exceeded every expectation that I had for my long held ambition of spending a week in a lovely little cottage in a quiet Cottswolds village. From the quaint features of the house to the amazing welcome pack to the spectacular views - truly spectacular.

Idyllic Cottage

The Perfect Cottage in the English Countryside

Our stay at Apple Cottage was absolutely perfect! The cottage and surrounding gardens are straight out of a picture book and the location is perfectly appointed for getting to all the nearby Cotswold villages. When we return to England, we will definitely book it again!

Lovely Family Stay

Our Home away from Home was amazing. We had a wonderful stay, Snowshill is a beautiful location and the home was so comfortable and welcoming. We arrived to a welcome package of all the essentials and more. Lati made us feel at home and was lovely. We planned to return again as we loved it so much

A month with a view

We loved our stay at Apple Cottage. The staff which supports the cottage were fantastic and so helpful. Interim house cleaning was much appreciated. Sitting on the terrace and looking at the hills, you feel like you are in a story book. So much to see and do from this conveniently located home. The gardens were spectacular. A perfect place for either 2 people or 2 couples. Thanks for a truly memorable stay! We hope to return to Apple Cottage.

Warm welcome by Jeff and Fati who live next door, superb views, lovely garden and terrace , the decoration of the cottage was cosy , cottage was well equipped . We had a wonderful time!

Lovely house in a beautiful village. Very close to Broadway and other places of interest. Unfortunately, one of the toilets malfunctioned but it did not stop us enjoying a really relaxing break.

Apple Cottage is a really lovely property in Snowshill. It has everything required for a tranquil break away. The cottage sits high up in the village with wonderful views and has all the amenities you would require. A lovely property

Very comfortable cottage , although 1 bedroom downstairs you still have steps to negotiate, no hand rails. Otherwise all very good , also lovely patio & garden.

Enchanting Apple Cottage

Amazing property with the most incredible views! The cottage’s garden was completely enchanting with its own pond and wishing well. We could see the lush green hills and grazing sheep from our bed every morning. The property is exactly as described in its listing. It had everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. I can only hope we can return some day.

Loved it!

We had a wonderful time at Apple Cottage. Can only think of superlatives for this wonderful stay: clean, elegant and tastefully decorated, fully equipped, delicious products in a welcome basket. The terrace with comfortable garden furniture and the beautiful spacious (!) garden with lovely flowers and apple trees, pond and various seating areas offers plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the silence and tranquility. Here you can experience the deafening silence which is hard to find nowadays. We have already booked our next holiday in Snowshill and that says it all.

Cottage is very well suited for 2 couples sharing.

I cannot fault this cottage. The only minor thing was the lack of a good coffee machine :) Beautiful garden too, but the set could do with a bit of paint.

Lovely cottage in idyllic location.

This is a lovely, comfortable cottage in an idyllic location. It's just a short walk a lovely pub; The Snowshill Arms and within short driving distances of traditional & charming Cotswold towns. To add to this National Trust properties and a steam railway are nearby. The cottage itself is extremely comfortable and boasts DVD / Blu Ray players for watching your favourite films whilst sitting in from of the log fire. A very generous welcome basket was provided on arrival which was very much appreciated. Overall a really lovely cottage.
