** Moosemac revealed phase 1 of the 2 stage kitchen renovation this past summer, a stunning 7 ft live edge kitchen island with new gourmet cookware!! The grand expansion last June with the addition of a main floor master bedroom and brand new luxurious mountain master bathroom continues to be a guest favorite.... Complete with a walk-in rain fall shower, invigorating jacuzzi tub looking out over the mountains, this IS THE Jewel of Moosemac cabin!! The luxurious bathroom features a 7 ft long solid hand carved Cherry vanity with LED river flowing through it!!

With Moosemac Cabin, you DON'T just get an empty shell of a cabin like almost ALL cabins....but a FULLY stocked cabin FULL of adventure gear, backpacks, coolers, walking sticks AND I assist ALL guests with planning their special time up to Blue Ridge with restaurants, kayaking, rafting outfitters and special things to do!!
If you just care to stay at the cabin during your entire stay, we have you "covered" with over 1000 square feet of covered deck space, lounge chairs and outdoor seating that will make your stay as peaceful as possible while you stare out over the long range Mountain views!!
In February of 2023 we upgraded the kitchen to a gourmet kitchen complete with an amazing gas range with built-in air fryer, large fridge with craft ice cubes, huge Farmers sink and all the amenities you could ever ask for to create your gourmet meals!

We enhanced out firepit patio area and also fully completed our Moosemac Outdoor Activities chest - featuring hiking backpacks, hiking poles, day trip coolers, and other fun games and activities such as football, frisbees and a professional cornhole game for those Saturday college pre-game celebrations!

It has been chosen as the site of several national whitewater championships and was the home of the 1996 Olympic Whitewater competition. The Ocoee River is an easy trip from Moosemac!!
